On a morning safari at Sillari, Pench in March 2019 as soon as we entered the forest this white eyed buzzard couple was a roadblock. We waited for a while, but since their fight was not getting over, and we could not intervene / disturb them, we had to take a detour to continue with the safari. Wonderful 👌..what I have read that they seal their nest with mud to protect from possible predators like snakes and leave small opening to deliver food
It is true. But that is when the female enters the hole and is to give eggs and hatch them. Right now the chicks are already out. Mostly the mud is helpful in digestion.
