    Your channel has inspired me to try urban sketching. I live in a very rural area, so I guess in my case it'll be rural sketching 😂 I love seeing you highlight other artists' works and books as well as show us your own process and work! Can't wait to give watercolors a try.

    He has a very interesting style, from what I see in the video. His architecture drawings are a bit exaggerated, almost as if he was doing a caricature of the building, yet not deviating too much from reality, if that makes sense. But then, in his drawings of people, you see he is not going for realism at all. Very cool.

    Looking at Ian’s art is inspirational and very fun. You can get a feel of his personality just by his art: it is fresh, lively, with a lighthearted sense of humor.

      I don't have any other hobbies except making art, and i happen to make videos while I'm making art.
      Used to post daily but has since reduced to just posting a video every two days. lol. Many videos were actually recorded months ago, sometimes in bulk, I just release them slowly to give the illusion that I'm working all the time.

    I enjoy your reviews. However, it’s too bad the text is so small. I just returned a book, not this one, where the text was too small. That’s because I know I’ll only read maybe 10 percent because reading such small letters strains my eyes. I believe that lots of art books are printed smaller now days with some text as little as 6 point!

    Hey Teoh! I have a question, should I get a separate scanner to scan my traditional art or does a printer with a built in scanner work? Or is there a huge difference?

    • @Yurup
      @Yurup 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is no difference between scanners, build in scanners work fine.

    • @teohyc
      @teohyc  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Those 3-in-1 scanners are made to scan office documents and are not as good for scanning art

    I bought this book and love the stories and paintings in it, but the quality of the paper is just very bad. It's so thin it feels like you can tear it apart very easy. I am very careful when I turn the pages because I am afraid to damage the book.
