The clone stamp tool is probably one of the most used by anyone doing virtual photography in virtual worlds such as Second Life, like myself. You run into so many issues where 3D meshes/models and textures will intersect--cause "clipping". So it's often part of the process to clean it up.

But the company behind it, Linden Lab, are also investing in a mobile app too--as well as various other things in a push to make things easier, and more accessible--and I guess bring more people in.

It's the little things like selecting overlay that help me. I never use it. I only use normal and learned to select screen when adding rain or snow in a video or animation. Of course It's also better to clone details at less than 100% and build it up. There are always 5 ways to do something in Photoshop.

Reason 3: working across documents is so powerful for photo collage and compositing and I don’t know of any other tool or workflow that can handle it as quickly or effectively as Clone Daddy.
Honestly I love the clone stamp tool it saves me time and with the new ai option not doin its job most of the time I always use this tool!

I love the clone stamp. I use it all the time. It always works when nothing else will. Halos with clone stamp blend mode for example.
Specific needs will need the specific tool.

I mesh, thank you for your great videos. I use photoshop every so often and your educational videos always help. May I ask…I forget the correct term, but there is a way to remove the white portions of a layer (makes the white transparent) leaving only the black line drawings…and I forgot how to do that. Can you please refresh my memory with the term of that feature and how exactly I can do it?

I stopped used the clone stamp when I discovered the Spot Removal tool to fix errors to make corrections faster on facial issues. And since I started using Beta I replaced the Spot Removal for the Spot Healing tool. It's a musical chairs game every few months. But with Midjourney, I ended going back to the Clone Stamp tool to correct those 'extra fingers' the AI makes, especially the one replicated the most, the finger in between the pinky and the middle one.
Please consider making a how-to correct AI extra fingers video, it's difficult to remove and match the extra knuckles spacing when correcting fingers with the clone stamp tool.

Wait… it doesn’t work all the time. No programs can really do hands right all the time. Maybe SDXL will be more accurate
We need a new tool in Photoshop, the Orthopedic doctor removal stamp for extra fingers created in AI.
For my art I take a photograph of a real hand at the correct lighting and blend it in.
Is there any software or website, that can apply artistic filter to multiple images at a time?

I tried to use generative fill on an insect eye and apparently " fly compound eye", breaks the guidelines???? I used the clone stamp instead.

Thanks! Great tricks I can use. I'm on a PC, when i hold alt-shift-bracket, it just bonks the bell. Alt-shift_ arrow keys will move the preview. What am I missing?
I just found that on my keyboard it works with keys witch are on the right side of the key "m". Hope it will help.
