Thank you very much for taking the time to put this together. Extremely well done your animations are very professional and made all the difference for me to understand.
Great tutorial sir. Usually I use Split-S as a go-to move whenever I can't shake a low bandit from behind. Doesn't always works. Now I have another card in my sleeve to use. Keep it up, can't wait for more of these...
It is pretty fun to see all the trial and error things I learned over the months are indeed a thing. Been doing this for quite some time, though it is great to have it explained to me what exactly happens during this maneuver, answers some questions I had while performing them. :)
Hey Burnhard, thats exactly the reason why I make my videos the way I do. So you can apply the principles of what I'm showing regardless of your sim. For me, WWII airplanes strike a nice sweet spot in terms of airspeed which allows you to show the BFM geometry while maintaining tally easily. I am currently planning on making jet videos too though
Hi m8, I keep returning to your tutorials for reference all the time. Can't beat them ! I asked you about six months ago about how you do the pink and blue flight ( ribbons ) you put me onto Tacview, I have a free version but haven't yet worked out how to use it properly, do I need an unpgraded version ? Many thanks for you help, keep it up m8 👍 PS, seen your Hurricane book from Duxford, I visit it every year. Cheers Doc.
Can't wait to transition to this from War Thunder. I love WW2 planes, but want to wait for a flight stick to get into this game. Seems like my current keyboard flight with mouse to look around might be difficult
@@RequiemsACTL Thanks for the response and all the informative videos! I will likely end up getting a X56 soon and likely will end up switching to Sturmovik. I will just have to see which game I prefer
I've always called this the "half-inverted bollocks turn (with optional curbstomp)", never knew it had a proper name. Informative as always, Req!

You're very welcome James, that's the goal of all my stuff :-)
Brilliant stuff as ever! Despite seeming obvious when you see it, it's always good to be reminded of the mechanics of such things! Cheers Req!

So much condenced and accessible knowledge! Thank you!
Am watching this for use in my F-16 though, for DCS but same principles apply obviously. :)

The Air Combat Tutorial Library I see your point there! Allright! Looking forward to that as well :)
yesss! you are back!

No you don't need an upgraded version to use it properly. For most people that free version is enough.
Thx m8, 👍

Yeah you'll find it difficult with just mouse and keyboard, but it is playable. To get the most out of it you'll need a joystick

How are you able to speak really fast like that while your manuevering
Unless it's a livestream, I complete my voiceovers after the flight. I've preferred doing it that way because it helps keep things concise.
very good video ......... :) :/
