A trio of antique dealers decide whether or not to make offers for people's possessions or allow the owners to take a risk at auction.
Welcome to Dickinson's Real Deal. Dickinson: the flamboyant antique expert helps the public make the most money from their old antiques. Are today's guests about to produce big windfalls or big busts? Find out!
The challenge is how to get the best deal. Contestants meet the dealers who offer cash for an item. The seller must decide whether to accept the guaranteed money or risk fortune or failure in the auction room. Of course, placing one's trust in a positive auction outcome is a gamble in itself! Will they make the right choice?

The man with the pistols has already appeared on the show. And he isn’t the only one. This undermines the credibility of the show.

Good programme but it's sad really to see the same old faces turn up as customers/sellers in different programmes. There must be more people out there with decent stuff to sell surely?

yes, are they actors? the places are so far apart, it's hard to believe they travel the country to get there again.

Sadly I think a lot of the people who actually realize the value in what they have are small time dealers themselves, otherwise most ordinary people don't know what they have (basically giving it away if unwanted) or consider it too sentimental to part with and that is why a lot of the same faces turn up over and over. I have noticed certain repeat sellers have unique niches of things they bring in and generally don't stray from those type items. I do wish we had more first time sellers on the show compared to these obvious small dealers\collectors

People keep saying the same sellers appear . Some people have more than one thing to sell so appear more than once. Some people say they must travel all over the place going to different shows. This is not true. They go to the show nearest to where they live and get filmed at that place several times.
Their numerous appearances are not shown in one show because that would be repetitive. Each of their appearances are shown on different shows.

Some sellers are collectors who sell to dealers, it makes sense to appear more than once

Do these professional antiques dealers really sell their items for such low profits? I doubt it 🤔
