I purchased the palette. I feel like ABH made a palette for the brown girls and the girls who love sparkle! I haven't been this excited since they collabed with Jackie Aina.
ABH is killing it with these palettes lately, I like both but the color story of this one I’d know I’d use more. But I do think there’s not a great base shade for lighter skin tones. Not that I’m complaining, because literally 95% of palettes do cater to light skin tones. Plus I have plenty of palettes. I have the Sultry that I actually bought last year at TJMAXX and I think this would be a good sister palette to that one!
I see the trend this season being dark and grungy and I am here for it.

The orange shade reminds me of their older palettes that all seemed to have an orange matte in them!

i have never purchased an abh palette but this palette is calling my soul. it is soooo sultry and sexy and the cool tones need to get on my eyes!!! ♥️♥️♥️
Abh is always nice quality. It used to be my absolute favorite brand before I found Odens eye.

Serious question (and no shade, I’m just honestly curious) but is there really THIS big a market for these orange/burgundy shades? I personally hate this colour scheme but every single release in the last few months seems to be pretty much the exact same (except Nouveau.) I know brands follow trends, but this super warm trend was big only a few years ago (and I hated it then too 😂)
It's so boring and I can't believe so many brands are doing this but at the same time I'm glad I can save my coins.
I agree, i hate oranges warm and brick red shades, specially metallic brick reds yikes! Brands, stop with those color schemes PLEASE!!!
Lindsay, I totally agree with you. I absolutely despise warm toned oranges and reds in eyeshadow palettes. I've also wondered, "Who keeps asking for this?". No shade either on my part, but are these tones still in demand?

While I prefer the Nouveau palette, I also like the Rose Metals color story. I'm a sucker for elevated neutrals like these and the shimmers are just that tiny bit special where you feel like you've really done something once you put them on your eyes.

I ordered this one as I used to do with all ABH palettes... but after using all the indie brands I'm just not as excited as I usually am. I'm more excited about my Strange and Unusual delivering today LOL. I'm going to use the ABH and see if I like it, but after all the special shades (Devinah, Clionadh, etc) I'm rarely using mainstream brands. And when I do need something more toned down I'm reaching for Blend Bunny Dollhouse or the neutral colors in my Odens Eye, Kaleidos, even Sigma. ABH, UD, Too Faced, etc... I've just lost the excitement.

I am the same way! Mostly shimmers thi. Sigma mattes have been a game changer for me on quality. Their Alice pallet has been my go to since i got it! Love love love!
Yeah sigma has come out swinging the last couple years. Really nice looking palettes, blushes, bronzer. Sigma’s like “Mac who??”

The way ABH puts colors together that you wouldn’t think will work together but do is always a great surprise. I’ve loved every pallet I’ve owned from them . I’ve had 6 so far.

you just need to know how i appreciate your looks especially because you're not so heavy with winged liner. there are plenty of makeup looks people do on youtube with a winged liner, but i can't recreate them just because i've got hooded lids.. but with your videos i guess i could do makeup and still look good!

I have the sub culture palette and Yess it can be tricky to work with, but I love the color theme and I didn't have to much of an issue .. to with all that .. I like the EARTH PALETTE THE best ❤️🥰.

I pulled out my soft glam for fall. ( I’m a ginger, I don’t look ok in all colors)
I love the pigment and how smooth they blend out.
I was not into that palette at all, but now I see the light: it’s gorgeous! The drama you brought with those looks just called to my heart. I won’t be buying it this second, I’ll absolutely need I’ll wait for a sale, but it definitely made it’s way on my “wishlist”. I’ve enjoyed the nouveau palette so much, that new formula is so good!

Thank you so much for posting swatches and pictures. Every image I’ve seen of this palette on ABH’s socials has looked different. I blame different exposures. But it’s made it hard to tell what the real colors of the palette were. Whole pretty, I’m not sure that I need this palette. It looks very similar to Modern Renaissance

I think with both palettes, they seem desaturated from their original releases. I'm missing the darkness and contrast. Said the gal who bought yet another Nars holiday release, lol

Per usual, I love both of your looks, especially the second one because I love cool tones. But I agree, that the palette is dark; it is missing some light colors for dimension, highlight, and light! I plan to use it together with Nouveau. That is what I do with all my PML Mothership palettes as well. Then I definitely get a look I like.

LOVE the second look
The second look was so smoky and Sultry. Loved it! I am passing on this one as I am sure I have all these shades in other palettes.
My boyfriend (who I forced to subscribe back when you were trying to hit 100K!) Just yelled from the bedroom: "hey, did you see that Angie had a new video?"

I want this. I love ABH, even their older palettes. The Primrose is also lovely.
I always liked the quality of ABH shadows, especially their neutral-ish matte shades but I found that the shade range in any given palette couldn't give me the looks that I preferred & unless I purchased multiple palettes & combined them, the shade range was somewhat lacking (for me & my preferences) But it's so nice to see the mix of warm & cool tones & unique color combos that the brand is now doing. The colors are definitely more complex & nuanced than just warm neutrals or cool neutrals of past releases which is a nice change :)
