I think it's worth to note that this documentary is 12 years old. He was 70 then and now he is 82.
How many of us who graduated university in Ireland owe this man our education?
I have watched this over 10 times. I'm at university right now, always trying to make a buck. Hopefully someday I can follow in this mans shoes and give back to people. I have never been more touched by something in my life.

Chuck Feeney has enabled every part of my life and millions more who have no idea of this. I went to the University of Limerick, work in R&D and am close to the issues of the North, all of which Chuck has touched with his philanthropy. This country of ours, north and south owes him an immense amount of gratitude and respect. A true interspersion to us all, many billionaires the world over could learn a lot from Chuck Feeney. Thank you Chuck for your wise investment in the future our our country.

I hugely admire Chuck Feeney, I'm from Limerick and although I didn't go to University, you can see throughout the city the difference he has made.
The UL campus is very beautiful and dramatically changed since its days as NIHE. Thanks to Chuck Feeney and Ed Walsh, Limerick is a destination university for people from all over the world. (although, it does churn out a lot of Phys. Ed. teachers!)
If he can do that with a few billion, why can't the government do anything significant with their trillions?

Have always lived my life trying to do one nice thing for someone each day. It's amazing the impact you can have on people, even if your not rich. Hats off to Chuck Feeney, Now all we need is health care for those of us with serious dental problems. So many in the U.S. die needlessly and painfully, just because moms like mine and other pregnant military moms-to-be in Palmdale didn't know there was tetracycline in the drinking water. Alot of us suffered a lifetime because of it.

If the evil, wealthy, greedy cooporations that are in absolute control of the lobbyists, and in turn all our of leaders had an ounce of what this great man has the country wouldnt be crumbling. We have homeless people EVERYWHERE. Alot of them are mentally challenged and otherwise kind, and they suffer everyday right in front of our faces all the while our coutries wealthy buys another yatch for themselves. Its not hard to see that greed is the weakness of our system.

In the first 10 minutes its clear that he in all his greatness in fact did.I never understand this with entrepreneurs this idea of being resolute that it was not for the "money".Although it may not be your 1st goal their is such things as multiple goals how would you survive if you weren't in the slightest way profitable?
