- After watching a loooot of clips of Iginla, I can confirm that he is a gamer. His puck protection, his hands, his shot and his play inside dot. He progressed extremely well during the year and I could see the difference between a game in november and game in march.
Do you guys think somebody will pick him in the top 7? Personally I do.

There's no way the couple of players Montreal wants is gonna be avaliable by pick 6 or so. Even if they get top 5 Lindstrom and demidov will most likely have been selected and Montreal needs an elite center
@@BobbertYates it’s a chess match, you go with the best asset possible, if demidov and lindstrom are not on the board, you go with the D and eventually trade something for a forward. Why do you think Nashville drafted jones while they had plenty of defensemen? They got the best asset out of it. It’s very simple
@@BobbertYates and wait a bit before calling him an elite center, not saying he won’t be, but you getting in the "trust me bro" territory. I like the player, will probably be a hardworking player just like his dad, but drafting him top 8 is too high. We’ll see

@@TChockey I don't think so, but at the same time, I believe it'll be a crapshoot after Celebrini and Demidov. But I am confident he'll go top 10, and that whatever team gets him will get a guaranteed good player.
I’m with you on that. A team will probably reach on him because of the lack of forward and his translatable game
@@TChockey@TChockey Imo, he's only a reach if he goes top three. Otherwise, I would say it's a respectable pick. He WILL get stronger, smarter, and more refined, that is a very exciting thing to think of, given how blatantly good he is at some things, but also how ahead of his time his physical instincts are, he drives the middle like crazy and he is young for the class I believe. He just screams smooth development for me, I believe he will have first-line potential within five years.

Offense doesn't seem natural for him. Maybe he has a Seth Jarvis type of upside, but I see something more akin to Brendan Gallagher. Interesting pick at #10, but in the top-5 you want more upside.
I get what you say. I still think he has a upside of 60-70 pts in the chel but not superstars pick that you want in the top 5 or 10. My comparison is more like a better Andrew Mangiapane
You saw 4:12 and said offense isn’t natural? He seems incredibly balanced between dishing and scoring. Looks like a more skilled Max Domi.
@@ryanthomas8515 The d didn't have his stick but sometimes he is looking a bit robotic but this doesn't mean he doesn't have 35 goal potential in the NHL

i dont think a lot of the plays he makes will translate to nhl
well ofc some of his more high risk play will not and you are right on that. But he uses his body very well and play inside a lot so I would say his game is very translatable to the NHL. that’s why I think some teams are very high on him because he looks like a safe option
