Very good review and demonstration!. While I live in the USA, I often seek out reviewers in other countries to get their opinions as well. I have to visit Malaysia one day!
For a country like Malaysia which experience rain almost every week. no matter what type of electronic safety device you put on a fwd , you can never beat a good old awd system. Subaru FTW
I have been owning an Impreza 2.0 for 2years. Initially, I was contemplating that whether buying a Subaru is a right move. Now, What I can tell you all that Subaru is a good brand that take care of your safety & driving experience. My hometown in Titi, Negeri Sembilan. The road from KL to Titi is full of sharp corners. handling of this car is much better and accurate as compared to my other cars (Vios, HRV & Harrier). Eyesight system likes another pair of eyes taking care of my safety. Its pre-collision alert function has saved me in few occasions. I hav fall in love with my Subaru.
A Subaru owner in Norway was driving at night in the country side when his Subaru equipt with Eye-sight safety system hammered the brake, moment later a moose runned over the road just barely missing the car, the driver never saw the moose until it was right in front of the car, he would have hit it if he had to react himself after seing it.. so yes, Subaru safety system works!
AWD is a a better handling experience when it comes to snow and rain. When it snowed earlier this year I was so Amazed how my 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe AWD handled the snow. I was able to accelerate onto the highway with confidence up to speeds easily and I started to switch lanes multiple times through the snow while everyone else was creeping and crawling to see how the Htrac AWD would handle snow,. Which it did great 👍🏽
I hope this does not give subaru drivers a false sense of security. Symmetrical 4wd gives good accelerative traction, and probably better balance, but physics cannot bend. Flying down 160kph on the nshw with standing water and poor tyres is still dangerous regardless. No doubt the current Forester is a good handling suv, but its probably due also to the well executed stability systems and good suspension setup.
I've had a 6-speed Crosstrek for about five months, 6500 miles. I have driven in heavy rain, feels secure. I haven't had the opportunity to try its winter grip yet, but with the drivers I've seen in this area, I don't think I want to.

Uncle any updates? Did we get Audi A4 for a test drive and review the quattro drive system?
what about subaru XV? Does it perform the same as forester? As I'm owning a XV
The XV should be a little more agile as it is lighter. The Forester provides a bit more space and is more comfortable.
subaru cvt (jatco) ok ka guys? any issue faced?
FYI Subaru Lineartronic is not made from Jatco but from their own in house production @ Fuji Heavy Industry or simply Subaru. My 15' Xv already 150k without issues with proper maintenance. www.marklines.com/en/report_all/wsw0012_201408
Jatco is a garbage transmission from Nissan and also found in some Mitsubishi models and Suzuki's too.

Sadie Battle Wagon ready to lead off - amy excuse. Any day. Any where.
@@bongnyaumujap6889 I’d rather have a car that performs in practically all kind of terrain and weather, and according to some others, maybe look boxy then have a sleek looking SUV that performs horribly but sure does look great in the garage. Compared to a lot of other car brands, funny, Subaru looks just as good, if not better than all the rest
Can the AWD really work at higher speeds of 59kmh? I heard from another youtube channel that it can't, only at lower speeds less of 40kmh.
AWD works all the time. Are you talking about X-Mode?
Yes I am, sorry.
Subaru offers all wheel drive in all range of its vehicles, except brz 😂
Correct
Just listening I thought this was some random west/south African guy then I looked up and I realized he was from South/East Asia.... I was so confused.......

That music background is really annoying....
