    there is another way of making money and thats being a beekeeper. bees produce honey what is 100% nature friendly of getting sugar, wax, poison for medicine etc. keeping bees alive in arctic climate is tricky. and 1 queen in beehive lays thousands of eggs per day and in a way how klaus schwab and soros pushes people through great reset has a good way of making money in renewable way. i have around 20 years of experience of being beekeeper.

    How do you control temperature and humidity in your rearing rooms? Is it fluctuating or constant temperatures?

    Great video, Lots of helpful information. Wish you mentioned specifics in profitability, however. Like how much crickets can sell for in what quantities, compared to Dubias, super worms, horn worms, etc.

    You can sell superworms at pet stores, wildlife rescue, zoos, pet owners (fish, chickens, reptiles) and to stock feed places (frozen food for chickens). Here are a few links for more info on how to breed them, essential tips and the economics.
    Supermealworms are far easier and more robust than yellow mealworms so a great option. The only downside they have is they are less well known by wildlife rescue etc and many people prefer to buy yellow mealworms (out of habit mostly).

    Our mealworm book is coming out in the newt few months so let me know if you want to be added to list via info@wildlifehub.com.

    I'm a South African game farmer with lots of livestock farms in my aria. I'm trying to be the fist in my community to start a project like this. Can grazing animals benefit from insects added to as a supplement to hay? Or will my target market be chickens and pigs?

    • @breedinginsects4785
      @breedinginsects4785  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Hi, animal proteins are likely to benefit herbivorous animals however there is not a lot of information about this to date. Most information relates to adding animal proteins to omnivorous animals which we know have a good response to animal protein diets (pigs, fish, chickens) For instance adding oils from Soldier fly larvae to pigs has been shown to significantly increase growth rates. Adding live foods as apposed to pellet food has been found to increase fish production three fold (particularly for young or carnivorous fish). Cheers

    Hello there . I want to grow grasshoppers

    • @glennkvassay931
      @glennkvassay931 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, we have had a few enquiries about grass hoppers so it seems they are on the up and rise (hopping up some would say..sorry bad pun). At the moment we are focusing on crickets, mealworms, SFL and cockroaches and not doing grasshoppers unfortunately. However we are always interested to expand like minded people and may do a call out one day to connect grasshopper breeders. If your wanting to do this commercially, happy to pass on your details to other breeders we come across. If that is something your interested in send me a email at our contact form www.breedinginsects.com/contact-us/

    I am from India.I want to breed crickets for my chicken. Up to 4 kg needed per day . How to do setup and breeding pls help to produce

    • @breedinginsects4785
      @breedinginsects4785  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, a climate control 20 foot shipping container would produce around 4-5kg per week. Other species such as mealworms are 8-10kg per week and soldier flies 30-40kg per week. Advantage of cricktets is they can be semi automated whilst other species require more. hope that helps. Cricket book which covers commercial methods can be found at www.breedinginsects.com/our-products/. Hope this helps.

      Perhaps you could sell them...here is a link which goes through the potential markets, quantities of mealworms you can produce and prices you can get for them.....or you could feed them to chickens and fish?
