Thanks for the Tracklisting/Sample List :) Anyone still remembering the Essential Mix by the Psychonauts from 1996? They dropped this near the end of the 2 Hour set and this was the first time I ever heard it.
This 12" was amazing back in the day and still is today. This mix was on the B side of "Play That Beat" Double Dee & Steinski (aka Steve Stein) Great video footage too!
I don't suppose anyone can recall the artist and track name of a tune from about 1986 that was on a similar vein to "the motorcade sped on", that was about a third world war. It ended with something like a guy saying "this is Vandenburg, is there anyone out there?". It was played on Capitol Radio (London, UK station) in 1986 on a Friday night show and I've never been able to track it down.
Loved the Lyno-Days back in the early 80s as Max headroom was trending with a mixed bag of beat's,to doing helicoptors and elbow - spins these mixes were just amazing as we always had the finest beat's to break to ....Planet Rock and Africa-Bambata to manix to Kaftwerk all mixed in great musical manner ......Very neat indeedy..wow...Great Mix ...Cheer's
I just love going back to the old style!!!!! That was my generation!!!!!!! The robot!!! The Worm. The head spins!!!!!!!! Getting dizzy thinking about it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!
