I fully believe if the tournament was structured a mite differently, there's a chance he'd have lost before now, but thats how tournaments simply are. Gensai won because his opponents before Ohma didn't burn his reserves. Which isn't to say Ohma could win a straight fight against Gensai. But if the tournament was structured a bit differently, if Gensai ended up facing people that forced him to burn reserves he couldn't afford to burn, then who knows how it would all end. But thats just how tournaments go.

I never had anything against Ohma, but I'm still happy that Kuroki won! I like that the anime ended with the defeat of the main character! I like that it didn't end primitively and at the end you can even see some kind of moral!🔥
This may come as a surprise, but throughout the entire anime, my favorite fighter was Mokichi Robinson! His unique fighting style and easy-going personality made me really admire the character, so I was really happy to see him again, even in this state! I'm really happy for him that he's recovering and would be incredibly happy to see him win again, although unfortunately that won't happen..
@@CharlesLefleo it's been a while since i've read it but some organization secretly took him and replaced his heart without anyone knowing, not even Yamashita, then Ohma goes to live with the Kure family because Karla asked for it and he trained a long time with Raian (Ohma also learns some Kure tenchniques aswell), then both of them return for a new tournament held by an underground organization named Purgatory where new strong fighters show up and another fishy organization named worms will interrupt it coz they are interested in Ohma and Riuki, the story is way to long to simplify, many other things happen along the way like Tiger Niko showing up and other crazy strong fighters lurking in the shadows. Edit: also the second tournament will be organization vs organization (Purgatory vs Kengan), the fighters representing Kengan will be Ohma, Raian, Riuki, Kanoh, Gaolang, Meguro's brother, Julius, Wakatsuki, Akoya, another ex fang, Lihito (who becomes quite decent thx to Kuroki's training) and 1 or 2 more that i don't remember, also Kiryu Setsuna (the crazy dude for Ohma) is not dead and will show up.
The beast of all is ohma. Not talking about the strongest, offcourse kuroki the best of all. Im talking about the mentality. Ohma living his life in fight, he want to die fighting, that kind of person is frightening. Like a wounded wild tiger.
Man when Oma died I actually felt sad inside rlly good story and a good anime too I think the next thing for kengan Ashura is part 2 of kengan vs Baki or whatever the underground thing is called
Holy shit the anime showed how one sided this fight was way more than the manga. Like Ohma's body was broken beyond repair at this point but Kuroki's side of the tournament was as bad as Ohma and he still managed to win while keeping a average amount of damaga, outside of that Dragon's bane gamble there really was nothing he could do.
I've watched this fight so many times and come to the conclusion to that Kuroki didn't just win because of his extensive training. He won because he's an emotionless monster who doesn't let his emotions get to him and is just focused on the victory, he was only able to beat someone like Agito because his other personality just goes wild with his emotions.
I love how ohma and fang are one of the few characters that can make karaoke go serious. Rest in peace Ohma rest in peace.😢 oh and if ohma landed demons Bane X advanced on karaoke,s face insted of his arm he would have won the match but sadly he blocked it using his arm and delivered in uppercut to ohma,s jaw knocking him out. But hay at least ohma completely crushed his arm. Also if ohma wasn't sick and was at full strength he definitely would have been evenly matched with him.

This is how you make a good story without having to resort to the typical cliché where the protagonist always wins just for being the protagonist.
@estevanconor7725 would the story have been bad if the main character won? I don't think so.. Ohma had a good enough backstory to be a winner, Niko style combined with Life advance should've been something of a surprise for Kuroki.
