Surprisingly Beidou ult works with his laser as well as provides some extra interrupt resistance, which is nice

Idk why yall surprised. her ult basically works with both charge and normal attack unlike yelan or xingqui. + she gives interruption resistance so she's really good teammate to him

yes, tbh i've been in this dilemma for hours... he's just too flexible DPS and Driver...
If you're on controller, you can use his charge attack via using the LT button just like the bow users. So he feels really nice to use.
EDIT: Wow that's a lotta likes. It's just nice since CC always default to KB+M control schemes, even community talks using them. I figured I might mention it for controller users who miss it.

Once he starts his charge attack, you actually dont have to hold anything. You can just move him and the camera around.
Now I just wish we could have faster sensitivity haha

Hydro dragon for a reason
If you have done the archon quest, you'll see that Chlorinde and Wrio applied their elements to the primordial sea and then Neuvi came and took over. It works the same way in his teams and rotations

Actually you can run double hydro even without c1 because its pretty common that enemies have some shields\attack which can bring 3rd reaction with hydro pretty easy, i mean you go to Crab-boss with Double hydro + kazuha + geo and you already have your second hydro proccing Vape + Hydroswirl + HydroCrystals, or you can make your Kazuha consume Electro \ Pyro \ Cryo from enemy and he will apply 2 hydro reactions being 1 char.
Yop, all it takes is a slime, a Hillbilly with a torch an abyss mage... Though for bosses like PMA you're out of luck.

@@calvin659 What does the abyss have to do with anything? What they're talking about is that if you're fighting enemies that have their own elemental applications that you can take advantage of (as in dendro, pyro, electro or cryo, since anemo and geo can only be triggers and you have to be the one triggering, not the enemies), then you can use Neuvi with double hydro at C0, but if not (like the PMA boss that can't apply anything) then you unfortunately will have more restricted team building unless you have C1. So it is indeed though against enemies that don't have elemental applications you can use, because there's no way around it if you want to use Neuvi C0 against them. The options would be to run Neuvi C0 with the restrictions of 3 different elements or not to run Neuvi C0 team at all against said enemy. That qualifies as being though indeed. Being able to check what the abyss has doesn't change that fact.
His c1 super armor I saw let him tank the entire 3 hit combo from our favorite geo lizard. It's kinda insane

I'm actually using an HP goblet on him. Because of Kazuha and Archaic Petra Zhongli, he had too much hydro damage but not enought HP (30k). CA dealt 35-37k per tick with Hydro dmg goblet. When I changed it, he has 37k HP and his CA does 39-42k per tick
Edit: I forgot to mention, mine is C0R1
yep im using hp aswell and don't think I'll change it as I had a dream he'll get even more dmg bonus from supports later down the line
I’m wondering if it would be worth it to change his goblet to hp for me as well. I just got his weapon today and now he has 220 cd but only 27k hp
@@lucasmoro3862 if you have Kazuha and Archaic Petra Zhongli in a team with him then yes. Without them, he loses 75% hydro dmg (35 Petra, 40 Kazuha with 1000 EM)
And with Furina coming up that buff even more DMG bonus and zero HP buff, HP goblet on him seems even more of the obvious choice
That's good to know because I haven't dropped any hydro goblet from his set since the dungeon became available. Anyway, all the artifacts I got from both sets are crap so my Neuvillette isn't likely to perform well for a long time.

Also you can animation cancel his ca by sprinting, i have a pet peeve to make sure the hp is always full so i always used this

I really love how you explain literally everything i want to see about a character.... And for that sole reason i subscribrd to you.. so whenever i feel like watching a characters kit i always watch yours first
at C6 you can use hydro traveler to generate 4 extra blue balls. Combine that with the 9 that Neuv generates + the ones from his C4 and you can make his CA last for like 20 seconds
Idk if you would sacrifice the 160% base dmg of his charged attack for another charged attack, he really loses alot with another hydro character

It is still viable to run a hydro character with him, bit only in certain situations. If you fight an enemy which self inflicts elemental status effects, you can build your team around that. For example if you are fighting Raiden, you can bring Kazuha, Zhongli, and Mona(or Furina when she comes out) and still trigger 3 hydro reactions easily.

I play Beidou, Neuvi, Nahida and Yae! Such a fun and such a strong team! Plus Beidou shield gives a little resistance ! It’s amazing !
Neuvi can also quick heal by escaping the charge attack with jumping or dashing 😊
I tried him only once and I instantly pulled for him. I didn't planned for him. I wasn't planning to pull him but I did. I needed a strong character and i needed fischl and dio cons.

i just opened youtube hoping to see a notification that IWinToLose has the Neuvillette Guide. A wish came true
Gone through so many Neuvillette guide videos, not a single one of them talked about Barbara. Barbara is such a great support for Neuv, especially if you have his C1, which allows you to have more flexible teams...
1. Gives Hydro resonance, increasing Neuv's max HP by 25% (His dmg scales from hp)
2. Her constellations give Neuv 15% hydro damage bonus.
3. She is a healer with max skill uptime of 20 secs, which is great for Neuv as he takes up a lot of field time.
4. Since her skill constantly heals, it not only supports Neuv's BIS artifact set hp increase/decrease mechanics, but, the constant healing from her skill allows Neuv to be constantly at a higher HP during his charged attack, which supports his A5 passive of increased hydro dmg based on remaining HP.
5. She also helps generate more hydro particles, thus less ER requirements for Neuv, and you can focus on other substats like crit and hp.

I only have him at lvl60 with Widsith and Wanderer’s, but he already feels amazing. Fave team right now is with Nahida, Kuki and Xiangling or Zhongli.
Now that i think about it after the recent stuff that c1 was a hint of what furina could do and in turn inspire a lot of top ups eventually
the constellation section was really helpful for me coz i tried for the weapon but got homa and when i used the leftover pulls i got c1

You can still get damaged with interruption resistance, just that you can continue to do whatever you are doing while taking damage won't stagger you etc.

Try playing EC comp with Hakushin C6 Succrosse. She give the same Buffs as a Kazuha so is a good budget substitute, make sure her burst ansorbs hydro tho

After watching your Comparison between C1 and C0 teams, a question arose within my mind.
Would neuvillette do significantly more damage with a Mona,Kazuha and Fischl team(C1 neuv, R1 Tome of eternal flow) as in this case he already has 1 draconic stack and is also getting 25% HP increase due to Hydro resonance and will also have his person hydro damage increased due to Mona's Burst.
If this team is Compared to a C0 Kazuha Zhongli and Fischl Team,
Would the C1 team significantly outperform the C0 team.
You should also take into mind the possibility of pairing neuvillette up with a dedicated buffer or even furina in the near future for his C1 team for further boosted damage.
Would really help if someone could answer this question because I'm considering getting him to C1 and i would like to know its worth as it will be slightly difficult as a F2P to do so.
With his c1, ive tried tanking even azhdaha stomping, ramming and even his jumping attack when he switch element. Nothing moves or even staggers me. Basically, his c1 gives perfect resistance to interruption like a shield, minus the protection of course.
But that can be easily ignored, since his heals are superb

Honestly, it feels like he'd break apart groups of enemies with ease compared to others.

With balllad of the boundless blue coming soon. Will advice to use your gnostic hymn weapon for a better character if you have as the passive on BOBB gives you basically the passive on his signature weapon without the HP increase.

long term planning i think it better to go for c0 and bis weapon atm, since this weapon banner is stack with homa. Then during his rerun go for c1.

honestly Neuvillettte seems really fun.. but I have to get Furina and possibly her weapon too, not the mention ARLECCHINO since we now know she's Pyro.. so she's definitely main DPS.... with the trend hoyoverse is going of characters actually not using their weapons to fight...lol, I'm looking forward to what style Arlecchino fights with.
Just saying from some other clips you could change hydro dmg goblet with hp. Especialy i think it may be the normal case to run hp when we get Furina. Hydro dmg against HP is already just around 2-3 % difference with same substats. So if you have an much better hp then hydro goblet. Lets go!
To answer your question about C1 interruption resistance: It's a lot. He can eat an entire Primo Geovishap combo without getting staggered.
You missed something VERY important. The 3 reactions for his passive are intended different, BUT same reaction on 3 different enemies count for 3. You can play another hydro character (Furina?) with Neuvillette and have (for example) kazuha easily swirl a group of enemies, activating the 3 stacks immediately.
hi! You didn't talk about the new forge catalyst, the Flowing Purity. I'm using it with Newvillette and I think that I hit harder with it than with the prototype Amber (both R5). What is your opinion of this weapon? 🙂
The Fontaine catalyst? I wouldn’t recommend it. You might as well use Lost Prayer if you have it. He doesn’t scale with atk.
4:09 put 3 different healers on the team and not only will he get all the Stacks but also be boarderline immortal with 3 healings going on AND the blue balls ready to heal him as well.
He doesn't need a healer at all tbh, having 3 healers might be overkill and diminish damage due to supports buffing him. But yeah definitely fun!

Have a damage comparison using 3 stacks and 2 hydro resonance using Childe to boost Neuvillete CA by 1 level. ❤
They should change this laser from ticking 8 times to a lot more. Same overall damage just divide it more for a more channeling effect and to combat 10k DPI gameplay
it's interesting that in another video where zajef did the math, lost prayer was higher up on the list. iirc it was even above prototype amber by .5% or something like that.
I wish you would go ahead and C6 him for us. I matched up with a c6 nuevillette, and he was hitting for 76k per tick of his charged attack! And it lasted for a long time!
Basically from just playing him. The reason the description dont say 100% resistance is between you can still be frozen in that state even with c1 which will make you lose ur CA but anything like taking dmg will not make him stop doing his CA
His C1 can let him take Scaramouche's ground punch and keep going. It's really good.

Note on using Gorou. He buffs defense, and that does help with shield strength.

@@Candytime9 please look at the KQM library. You are correct that the crystalize shield itself grows in strength by the EM. But that's a multiplier. The Base shield is by the characters defense too. The logic is like "if the character would take less damage, so will the shield". It's really not intuitive, but I'm pretty sure that's way it works by how it's documented

Talents are actually: Normal>Skill>Burst, you should still max them all though for the most amt of dmg should be a 3:2:1 ratio between skills until they're all maxed

I'm finding it difficult to replace my 4pc Wanderer's Troupe, the substats on my pieces are just PERFECT. They all have HP, ER, Crit Rate + Crit DMG
yeah same, that's what I don't get with this guide. how can hunter's set beat WT? if they have the same stats WT should out-damage Hunter set because it is a perma 35% inc to CA and Hunter is only 15%. Hunter stacks only adds consistency and WT at 60-70 CR is already consistent plus it adds EM for reactions
@@user-rr4cf3cq3t I agree. Maybe the math shows otherwise tho? The only way it makes sense to me is build convenience. Since Hunter set gives you 30-something % crit rate guaranteed, you can build really high Crit DMG as compared to other sets where you'll have to balance the stats more evenly maybe? Not sure
I don't know, but in nahida, raiden and anemo team getting all 3 stacks is very difficult because nahida's mark prevents from applying any other hydro reactions.

One C6 Neuvillette, two characters to stack his passive and one Neuvilette/Hydro trav with Thundering Fury to feed the Neuvi infinetely?

To be honest i feel like fontaine kinda revolve around dehya.
-underwater currently dehya is the best character on it.
-lyney focus on charge atk which makes him kinda easy to interrupt if he doesn't have interrupt resist which makes dehya very great if they plan to bring any anemo character
-now in neuvillete burgeon currently only dehya works.
-furina later would probably access dehya as main dps.
-both new artifact can upgrade dehya potential. One enhance her skill dmg and the other one focus on enhance her crit rate.
-wriosthesley probably can access dehya as sub dps on triggering melt by using the new artifact that boost skill dmg or using 4 pc witch.
Now i am looking forward what other fontaine character can do to further unlock dehya potential.

His c1 lets you use any double element in his teams, not just double hydro.
I got extremely lucky and got two Neuvillette in one 10 pull, so I don't have to chose between C1 or signature. Hopefully the weapon wont take to many pulls...
How does a HP goblet compare to a hydro goblet? That's what I'm using now thanks to artifact RNG, just wondering how much difference that makes while I try to get a good hydro goblet.
I haven;t done a lot of testing yet but I have found that with my main team Kazuha buffing elemental damage and Zhongli using petra set also buffing elemental damage, a HP goblet comes out on top (not by a lot though maybe a few extra thousand at times) because he is getting hydro damage bonus from outside sources and currently for me with a hydro goblet his HP is around 30K but with a HP goblet he is around 36K and with either one his crit stats are bascially the same. But on any other team, I have seen showcases where the damage difference is almost nothing.

Not sure if this is a bug that will get patched or what.... But I think the lost prayer has been stacking on my nuevellette whether he's in combat or not. It goes away when you switch him out, but I tried it in town and it showed me getting 4 stacks without being in combat. Any thoughts?
