Awesome, I like how you said I hope I can remember how it all goes back together! I laughed so hard, guess I needed that. And it's an oversized pocket watch, man you weren't kidding! Thumbs up ty!
I find it funny how the movement is nicely engraved and finished pretty when the owner about never will have a chance to admire the looks of the innards of the clock he/she owns. Especially in a Car Clock, which is buried and bolted in the instrument panel. Perhaps the manufacturing efforts should rather have been directed to at least get the screw grooves machined correctly? ; )
I have a 5 days winding russian clock from a russian tank that I got on an antic fair, I plan to use it on mu 65 landy. It runs, but depending on the position, it will stuck or stop. Planning to dismantle it and try to clean and regrease... but not sure if it needs a specialist like you
I have one of these i am currently working on. What size winding barrel do you use for your mainspring winder? Mine are too small and I am trying to locate one as I don't want to wind this by hand.
I've got a Waltham USA, 8 day (car?) clock that used to be in my dad's basement workshop. It works beautifully if I wind it up, but I can figure out how to set the time. Could you please give me some instruction. Any advise would be appreciated.
Hello. I tried the website and looks like it's being repaired. I have a car watch Waltham 8 day from 1926. Would you be interested in repairing it? Thank you Jim
Peter, Can you repair a Wittnauer 8 Day aircraft clock? It runs and keeps time, but the second hand falls to gravity around it’s post. That, and maybe some cleaning and lubrication?
Loved the video, but you didn't show the part where you removed the bezel and lens to get the movement out. Does it screw off or pry off and is there a special tool? Thanks
I had to stop watching after you missed that grain of sand on the right mainspring barrel. I just could not tolerate your ham-fisted attack. Thank goodness they made more than one of these.
This is the first time I’ve seen one of your videos. You do a beautiful job! Thank you.
Thanks! I took mine apart a month ago, couldn't quite remember how it went back together...

Wonderful video as always. Thanks for posting!
Love watching your videos you showed me a lot about 3D Printing I have some pocket watch parts for you
Do you think anyone has ever been inside that clock before you? It was so pristine. Thanks for sharing these videos.

Can you tell me how to wind the clock?
Fine to have it in a car.

Hi. Can you fix a cockpit Waltham clock I got?

What would the chances be of having you service another one of these?

Okay, that is neat. I’m wondering if such a piece could be found on the pocket watch database.
I found info on it.

Typically they are threaded. Just screwed on
What type of oil do you use?
Mobius
Try using the word ...pivot...instead of...pinion...
