I'm 63. I play about 8 or so hrs a week. My K/D was better by about 0.4 in D1. I attribute the difference to the map layout and the meta. Though I have to say that I really like stasis 'cause I can use those abilities to counteract the really fast twitch shotgun players. I tend to play with a pulse rifle and full auto side arms.
@@zTheBigFishz I think the player base in general has improved pretty dramatically since D1. Much stiffer competition the days. When I go back and watch my old clips it was a much different pace to everything - especially compared to D2 modern PC play.

When it comes to finding a good eDPI, there was an Overwatch pro that gave some good advice on finding a sweet spot. He recommended starting with figuring out what sens or dpi is needed for you to do one 360 degree rotation when you swipe completely across your mouse pad. From there, you can adjust higher or lower depending on how it feels. Its advice that has helped me and several of my friends tremendously.

Absolutely love these interviews. started D2 season 7 with like a .5 KD and .8 KAD. started seriously grinding season 10. now i’ve gotten up to a 1.4-1.5 KD with 1.8-2.0 KAD. these videos and a bunch of privates with friends have helped a ton. keep up the great work!

As top tree dawn, you sometimes do want to enter a fight in the air. If you are above where the enemy is looking you can start shooting them from above and take on more than one player at once.
I’d always reccomend setting your sensitivity so that 1 full mousepad is a 360 (moving from middle of mousepad to edge is 180) and then from there adjust it how you want, being able to do a 180 fast and easily is super important for shotgunning
This is completely arbitrary, serves no purpose and does not take into account what sensitivity actually works for you, which is the only thing that actually matters. As long as your sens is low enough that you can aim well and high enough that you can turn on a dime when you need to, it doesn't matter. You literally never need to spin 360.
@@mosley3485 you need to be able to do a 180 easily so that you can turn around and slide instantaneously, if a full mousepad is a 360 then from resting position in the middle you can easily flick to edge of mousepad and be facing 180 away so u can slide backwards and shoot forwards

I just changed from 800/5 to 800/6 a few days ago after doing some testing on flicking to spots and strafing while hitting a target. My hand cannon shot has improved massively. Nice to have the decision reinforced.
28:30 Have pride sure, but also it’s just the smarter play since they’re building abilities as well as Super. If you dive into that 1v3 and can get an enemy to spend a grenade or melee ability, that’s one less grenade/melee their team will be starting the next round with.

On the sensitivity issue, it is also the mouse weight and the quality of surface that matter. Not to mention the fov and zoom values. Especially because of the different zoom values of weapons, some games let you set a separate sensitivity for each type of weapo.
I use cerridus key layout. Iightly modified for myself but it works amazingly. He was the reason I bought a mistel split board. It really did help. I use 600dpi with 10 sense.
In destiny a player with average aim but excellent game and map knowledge will beat a player who has great aim but less knowledge every time. Don’t give up!
honestly after doing all of this, i recommend playing scrims. they help with team coordination and overall decisions. they’ll make you 12x better. trust

What I feel is holding me back is my movement, specifically how to shoot while you are in the air, at what point in the trajectory, hip firing in the air versus aiming down sight, also when is the best time to shoot while sliding, the beginning the middle of the slide or the end of the slide. I need to specify that I'm playing on PS4 with 30 frames per second. I feel that the moment I jump or start sliding the frame rate start dropping and it becomes incredibly hard to hit a 🎯. Anyway you can make a video on that? I think it would be very interesting viewers like me who can get to $3,800 Glory but cannot make it to 5,500.
I'm trash at this game myself, but if you are playing at bronze or silver right now: next time you play, be super mindful to look at your radar. I have been playing for a year and more, and I've never used my radar up to this point. One day I realised and started using it. Trust me, there was not one match where my KD dropped below 1.
Just got accepted into nursing school so I’m rewarding myself with a gaming laptop lmao. I’ve had one before, an msi ge 72 Apache pro. I had to sell it however when COVID hit bc I needed the extra money. Now that I’m back on my feet I’m gonna get back into destiny and I’m so excited.
i just got a g pro wireless so i don't have to worry about cables and stuff getting in my way now and i put my sens to 400dpi 8sens. My aim got way better and i'm able to move better cuz i can swing my mouse a bit more

PS ugh it's so depressing to know that Cerridius only picked up MnK after D2 came out. I've been playing keyboard since DOOM and MnK since Unreal Tournament and his raw aim is better than mine.

i use a razer keypad i like the alt it on my left thumb on a button that is above the small space bar , i have been playing on game pad from day one , i think cammy cakes plays with one.I think its its easy coming from controller, i also use a g 604 i like the many buttons on mouse i use side buttons as melee and grenade
After watching many many of your improvement videos, Im still left wondering- With the goal to improve mostly my aim and game sense, what Crucible game mode would be the best if I dont have my friend to 1v1 with? Do I practice just the game mode I specifically want to become good at? Or is there one game mode to rule them all?
I would enjoy the game more if it had more sensitivity options I play on controller 3 is too fast 2 is too slow and it’s frustrating because for things like sniping it’s way to fast and I always miss by a little too much if I turn it down I’m dead before my aim can reach their head
Both are very different weapons for different situations. Depends if you play mainly pvp or pve. If you mainly play pvp, I'd take thorn out of those two, and if you mainly play pve, I'd take Izanagi out of those two.
One of the things I see players do is practice for trials or survival in control. You are not improving by team stomping randoms. You are not going to get away with the mistakes against good team's. Be ok with loosing in trials or comp to get better don't quit .
while factoring in dpi and sensitivity how important is frame rate and internet speed? just from watching video it seems my biggest hindrance is frame rate and my connection to the server. my internet speed is around 100Mbps and frame rate averages around 50
You’re definitely gonna want to get that frame rate up. If you’re on all high settings in game, turn them a lot lower. That should improve your frames a bit
Need your help guys. So i’m trying to go far in comp solo but i’m on console and Crimson runs RAMPANT in there. What’s the best counters to Crimson if there even is any . Any tips for solo comp would be greatly appreciated as well.
Solo comp- prepare to hard carry, play with your teammates as you have a better chance on winning gunfights that way even if you use them as bait, most of the time play ur life, use every advantage you can think of that most notably heavy, don’t stress out, and always think and remain calm so you can ur body can keep ur with ur brain

I think it doesn't show up on screen recordings so that's why you can't see it, but it would show for him and he would be able to see it. I'm not sure if he was actually using that though, it's possible he wasn't.
@@sirloin7241 yeah i was saying that he might be using the thing on some monitors that lets you have a reticle because that helps with hipfiring because you don't have a reticle normally when hipfiring. But he might not be using that idk. That's what I meant.

I want to do this in private matches but all my friends just pull out jouton, arblest heavy and spam stasis abilities and don't try and get better
If you can build up skill to against that, you will definitely be better by the end.

I’m decent I think I usually consistently drop like 20+ in matches but I only get roughly 5 hours a week to play so I find it hard to improve.
