Wallah is one of the absolute best PvP players in all of Destiny 2. In this video, I got Wallah to share some of his best tips to help new and experienced players improve in the Crucible.

I gotta say, since I've been watching Wallah, I've noticed that his positioning while playing aggressive is absolutely amazing! His ability to continually push the pace, and seemingly never be in a bad spot is some seriously impressive game-sense! 👍👍
He is the definition of smart aggressive play
Wallah's situational awareness and map control are just amazing. His shotgun play is pure poetry. The thing with D2 is that aggressive players benefit from damage perks.

Don’t underestimate the power of chip damage. Shotgun duels are actually primary duels with a one-chance finisher move.
I would've laughed so much if he just said "Stand on the capture points" and that was it for the video. The rest is just silence.
I watch both channels and I’ve seen all the background footage over the last few weeks. It was good to see it with the Q&A over the top too great work
If you are on console, you can still game the movement system.
You can do small jumps that ricochet you off the geometry.
Its something you kinda get a feel for on the PvP maps by running around on them enough.
Its not skating but on certain terrain, in a gunfight, you can learn to launch yourself in an unexpected angle at a very fast speed.
I don't even play PvP in Destiny but I absolutely love these "interviews" you have with very skilled D2 players. Cheers Patty!
Wallah is honestly one of the nicest streamers I've ever talked to. He's down to earth, and really just a good person. Some people don't like him, and that's fine, but dude's the real deal.

Using some self reflection, I gotta work on my tilt, I always think "Why don't they wanna play crucible?" And then I think of how many times I tilt a match and now I'm kinda like, well damn I dont wanna be the guy that ruins someone else's gameplay experience, especially cause the game itself is really good, so thanks for that Patty + Wallah 👍👍

I think the "handling tilt" part will be the most helpful for me. I have pretty bad anger management issues, so I lose my temper quickly, but if I start keeping Wallah's tips in mind, I should be able to start keeping my cool.

i always suffer from first game blues and i never thought of warming up your hands first before diving into a match, makes a lot of sense now
Wallah moves so fast it looks like he's just picking up kills when he sees a target but he's not. He's using his knowledge of the game, player tendencies, kill feed and all other info available to him while he's rolling thru ppl like paper mâché. Truly impressive player to watch and learn from.

As a seriously hard core raider who founded a clan years ago and is now trying REALLY hard to improve his PvP, I gotta say all the stuff that I've learned in terms of movement has also helped me on the receiving end of that movement, Like, I now watch for situations that other players can use to their advantage to be ready for the things that would've caught me off guard when I only entered PvP for quests and such and when i just never bothered to learn. It's nice, if i see a warlock, for example, coming up stairs, I ready myself in case he flies my way at mac ten. I have learned to bait other players into doing these things as well, thanks to you guys and all the other youtubers and clanmates that have been helping me improve, i actually don't hate crucible as much as i used to, not my favorite as I'm a BIG raider, but it can actually be enjoyable now that I know how to clutch up.

Idk what happened. I use to be a beast in d1 PvP and regularly finished the match top of the board with like 25+ kills and now in D2 I just get clapped everytime.haha

Ahhhh reminding me of curse/warmind nade launchers, what a golden age where you got a mad amount of heavy for single shot nade launchers with max blast radius concussion nades
As a bottom tree golden gun main wallah has been my biggest role model and inspiration. I have just been trying to copy how he’s played and it’s been extremely successful for me thus far. Boosted the KDA on emblem from a 1.8 last year to 3.1 this year as a solo pvp player

Loved the discussion about mentality and not getting tilted. If I’m in a chat party with someone who is constantly complaining I literally can’t focus on the fights in front of me and it makes me play worse. I’ll end up muting people!
That sort of negativity easily spreads to the entire fire team. We had such a moaning Michael during the last VoG master run. Fella made us basically abandon that thing after 10 mins. No discussion about what can be done different or better. Nah, Bungie's shite and all that... Sucked the life out of me.
Grinding the dreadful iron banner and watching wallah kinda improved my crucible game and learned witherhord clutches games so it ended up being a crutch in control which i mostly play. Titan Bottom tree solar + witherhold/gridskipper is kinda my crutch controlled playstyle poking at distance
IF you wanna be very aggressive you can use glacier nades to slowly close the gap and give you and advantage in primary's via wisper of chains 30% reduction in damage

Hey patty what do you think is a good measurement of your skill to track your improvement and/or if your in the same general skill level as someone else (especially between PC vs console). I play ps5 and am ok at the game, but it's hard to really guage where I'm at. Especially when watching tourney gods on PC

I've learned the skate on console ain't hard with back peddles and warlock top tree dawn is my go to for pvp.
Also I rebind my buttons and made the L3 as my sprint and my dash as dawnblade

Saywallah is probably my favourite gamer cos he just tends to get on with it (aggressive), but jesus christ he plays at such a high sensitivity that it hurts my head to watch and keep up with at times 🙄#cracked
Videos like these are always bitter sweet. Because I genuinely want the tips and to get better. But ultimately it boils down to, "I play on PC and I'm a Hunter Main" and there's me, the Titan main on Xbox who is DOA.

Do you have a friend who is good in destiny PvP? It will Help you very much, when u Play with him. A few Season ago i Player 0,90 KD. But i met a Guy who was very good. This Season i play a KD Like 1.92. It helped me a lot and it will you too.

@@Ceeeroy Yes i atlk about QP. i met him in the second Warmind season (idk the name) We did so much Privatgames and movements training that i got better. i lowered my DPI thanks to him and yes. He helped me a lot.

What would you say is the best game type to play to get better at trials. Cause you can't play trials but on weekends. So what would be the game type to use when trials isn't available.

Hi Patty, being following your videos for a while and just want to thank you for all your tips, definitively they are helping me to improve. BTW I would like to ask for an advice. You see I’m a new light, main hunter console player (Xbox). Being playing Destiny for almost a year and a half and it’s still hard for me to have a flawless on trails. I’ve being slowly improving but right now I’m feeling stuck. My game sensitive has always been default, 3 and by following the advice of some pro friends I have I set it up to seven. The problem is that now at 7 I have a lot of trouble landing shots, being sticking to this sensitivity for a week and while my aiming haces improved its still worst than when I was using 3. Have any advice for me?
I think sens is a personal choice thing and you can adjust it based on if you want better accuracy or reactivity. My friend Shadow is insane at sniping on controller and plays 4. My friend Drewsky is also a great sniper and I think he plays 10 rn

There are certain mods you can run to cooldown class ability for hunter. So I run like 6 mobility and still feels like 100 with those mods I have

Having continued to use stasis hunter, I'll say save the shurikens, if a shotgunner pushes up dodge double jump shuriken twice and shatterdive and all you need to do this is having 1 shuriken up for which you can use bomber (as during dodge you get 1 shuriken back)
Bomber has nothing to do with your melee. You're using the long dodge which gives u your melee back
@@joshlewis575 no it's outreach I checked, not bomber but it gives 20% melee charge back regardless of where you dodge

Personally, biggest issue with grenade launchers (special ammo) is that most have bouncy nades. They don’t explode on impact. On controller particularly, it’s harder cause you have to hold the trigger and release at the perfect moment. Wave frames are much better… but also more rare/difficult to get.
I wish people in my games stood still or ran in straight lines.
Me. That is what i tend to do😂 Im fairly new and have only done crucible maybe 4 times bc mostly i just do private matches with my bf but this is something he's talked to me about. I strafe now when shooting but only 1 way so i definitely need to learn better technique lol. 😂
Yea, why is it all these "skilled" streamers play the dumbest opponents, or opponents who just don't even move?
@@0giraffe0 Yeah a lot of this stuff feels staged or like they're on some new alt account or something.
@@utewbd it really does. Especially when every pvp match I play has people pinpoint accurately hitting headshots through the smallest of crevices, or before I even turn the corner.

Those who suck just swear that listening to these tips or looking at the gameplay that they are just going to magically slay their next game and become a top tier player. Becoming good isnt rocket science its common sense. Whats it going to take to win this gunfight? How can i stay alive? But hey, there will always be those who just suck because of their inability to get shit done themselves
there wouldnt be that much complaints if people who suck actually matched up to similar skill adversaries and teammates
@@LeonardoNeumann22 Do you even destiny? That is more the case as of late. Lobby balancing isnt the best but trash players for the most part get matched with other trash cans, its just a matter of one trash can performing better than the other. Sbmm and going up against full sweats all the time is done.
Why would anyone put in serious effort into something so fundamentally broken? These guys make money, their time invested has payoffs.
@@justsomeguy2142 I get matched with garbage players half of the time and I have a 2900 trials elo with a 2.0KD. Your claim is false matchmaking needs to go back to similar performance
