Hey! I love your videos. I’ve been confused on how you all keep your money for each envelope divided once you deposit it. From this video I got that: the placards are used in the envelopes so that you know what is allocated to which in your savings, correct?
What is your “savings” for? I’m trying to figure out what I’m doing with a savings account when I have an emergency account, six month expenses account and a savings account but I don’t know my “why” for the savings account so I’m asking around to see if I can figure something out.
There's always the usual-retirement, new home, new car. Maybe take some classes to help get a raise at work. Maybe take a class in photography, drawing, painting, or picking up some new culinary skills. Invest in you. Do something you have always wanted to do but never thought you could. We don't live forever so take that leap of faith.
Do you prefer not to have trackers in the envelopes? I find it helps me to ensure I have exactly what I should have. Might help when you forget to grab something when exchanging.
