I made these last week, and they were a huge hit! I served them with veal cutlets, caramelized oignons and sauteed green beans with garlic. Thanks for the recipe!
I just wanted to extend a huge thank you for posting this amazing recipe video. Your clear instructions and mouthwatering visuals make me excited to recreate these dishes at home. I appreciate the time and effort you put into sharing your culinary expertise with us. Can't wait to give it a try!
ME too I always like to see what food looks like when cut into. Too often people don't do that. Like when they make what they call fluffy pancakes, dang I want to see them inside:)
These look delicious. I will try this recipe. I watch a lot of videos and it's always nice to see the chef cut open and taste his/her product. A chef who likes their own food is the best advertisement you can get to draw others to your channel and watch your videos 😊❤😊
i tried it and i am fromm TRINIDAD AND TOBAGo.everybody loved it..they wanted moree...n im here like u ppl seriouss..kudos to youuu..because..we are veryy picky people in the caribbean everything is fresh and clean and sharp so ..this was greatt..ohh i have my own lemon chilli powder mixx..that i dry and grind lemons and mix with chiklli powder and fresh black pepper it add something special to this
1.) use a mandolin safely, either with the guard or with a cut resistant glove on. use the palm of your hand to hold the item on the mandolin if you don't have a guard. Splay your fingers out wide and just use pressure from your hand to keep the potato slicing. 2.) use a bigger bowl to toss things in and get AGGRESSIVE! toss those potatoes around like you mean it. sharp motion down and forward, make small circles and you'll coat things more evenly and faster. good for wings, fries, anything with some weight that you want to get sauce or seasoning on. 3.) don't use a butter knife to remove things from your nice non-stick muffin pans - use an offset rubber spatula.
I couldn't disagree more with the last comment. The reason you have so many followers is because you don't have the same old cooking show. You have a unique and thoroughly enchanting new style. And the vast majority of your fans love you for it. Some of us don't need or want to be spoon fed the same old thing. And personally, I love your eclectic taste in music. Keep up the good work, and please, don't change a thing!
Home Cooking Adventure Ain't that the truth! But seriously, your fans love you just the way you are, and so do I. Your presentation is a breathe of fresh air. You manage to combine great information and entertainment at the same time, in an original way. That is no small feat. Please keep it up! In the words of a famous pop star, haters gonna hate. Ignore them! Have a good one, looking forward to many new recipes! Ray.
Bravo ! Super recette qui rend très très bien ! J'utilise un robot pour émincer mes pommes de terre et je les dispose en rosace jusqu'en haut du moule à muffin. Ca fait 2 fois que je fais cette recette et elle est toujours autant appréciée de mes invités. Bravo! Beautiful recipe which makes very very well! I use a food processor to slice my potatoes and I arrange them in a rosette to the top of the muffin pan. I've done this recipe twice now and it's still very popular with my guests.
Have tried them today but used a kitchen machine instead of the mandoline. well what can i say? they turned out magnificant! used some Gorgonzola Cheese to the parmesan and put some dryed basil into the butter. i'm really happy and proud 😊 thank u so much for your vid's 💗
Woah! This is such a beautiful and delicious looking potato dish. I am definitely going to try this one out. Amazing video as always! I hope you're having a great week my friend.
@@Homecookingadventurerecipes I didn't have a mandolin cutter tool so I used these cheese block cutter. The pieces came out pretty thin, do you think it'll still work? I'm def going to out and buy one now.
I love the format of your you tube channel, home cooking adventure. Because you already flash your ingridients on screen while you cooking. It easy for your subscribers to follow you what you cook. Tnx and more power.
Loved these, which perked up our Christmas turkey leftovers tonight. I chose Maris Piper potatoes, a well-known roaster/fryer variety here in the UK, and used a big pastry bowl for ease of mixing, and fresh garlic rather than dried. I found them pretty quick and easy to prepare. The results looked great and tasted even better, so we'll certainly have them again.
moonblink Next time when try these you can soak the cupcake tray in lukewarm water for few hours, then gently clean it with soft sponge to avoid any damage to the tray.
Bako, ovaj recept j asam nasla kod vas! I bas sam planirala praviti imojim unucima, koji su inace piki kad je hrana u pitannju!! Vi imate zaista jako ljepih, ukusnih recepata! Mnoge sam isprobala i pravicu ih ponovo. imajte ugodne, zdrave praznike!!
Yeah, I thought I was the only one who noticed that! It took me ONE time to learn that one! Also, spritz the runway with a little Pam or Canola Oil Spray first for stick-free slicing. ;)
The thing about it is with a very sharp Manoline is one slip and you will bleed out like a pig at a slaughter house and its hard to stop the bleeding also and yes I know thru experiences
WOW! These are wonderful. We are potato freaks, and have not had a new recipe that we liked for a long time, and I am always looking. These are wonderful; I used russets. My husband thinks you should market them somehow! Thank you! This is our new go-to potato recipe. (Hubby is STILL talking about how good they are.)
Part of the experience and appeal of cooking videos for me is hearing the sounds that come along with the preparation--the sizzle of something hitting a hot pan, or of the ingredients falling together as they're mixed in a bowl. Everyone has a different preference, I suppose, but I definitely miss those little details from your (otherwise beautifully edited) videos. And for this particular video I felt that the background music missed the mark, and became distracting/overpowering.
+Olivia Woollett Hi Olivia. Thank you for your comment. I completely agree with you about the cooking sounds. That will be the next thing on our channel once we invest in a good recording sound system. Stay in touch! I really appreciate your remarks.

I also added the cheese, garlic powder, and thyme to the butter as is melted and then let it sit for a few minutes to infuse before pouring over the potatoes. The aroma was delightful! Next time I'm going to try adding some caramelised onions. Wonderful recipe. Thanks for sharing.
I feel like murdering someone everytime i see someone peel the skin off a potato. The skin tastes very good especially when it gets crispy. Plus its also the healthiest part of the potato!!!
not to mention where its been and whose been handling those spuds. where its been laying for weeks before it reaches the markets. the skin is porous and anyting can be absorbed ...even if i peel off the skin, i wash it thoroughly first.
This looks delicious but the video gave me a literal PTSD reaction. Please, please use the guard when slicing anything on a mandoline. On Christmas Eve I removed a goodly portion of my thumb while slicing potatoes, and it was gone in an instant. Mandolines are extremely sharp!

they came out nice, but the next time i make this i will use cupcake cups to avoid the mess. the pans were a pain to clean.
Does it go well with cupcake cups?
+حنين عبد العزيز I tried with and it worked fantastic.....much easier
Try silicone cupcake pan you will love it. No mess.

Chris Vanderhoof You're not going to get a crispy crust with cupcake cups.

BRAVO! Nice potato recipe. Will try!
Made these a few days ago and they are so easy and delicious!! Thank you so much for the recipe! :)
These would go over great at a wedding. Even using smaller potatoes and mini muffin pans if needed
you need a bigger bowl
chezzasan finally someone said it
Yes! Your bowl is ridiculously too small to evenly coat the potatoes. Amateur mistake.!
Funny
🤣🤣🤣
you need to mind your own business

NEVER slice ANYTHING on a mandoline without using the hand guard! Good way to slice off your fingertips.
can u please explain this to 99.9% of restaurants..i use a hand peeler to do some mandaline stuff..no restaurant ever has a hand guard

contains maximum amount of pesticides and insecticides too, and you can't judge the source if bought from the supermarket!
