Hi Zwag, Don't know if you'll see this, but i had the same issue with herald when they introduced the dash mechanic. To solve it, i now not only point the arrow in the desired direction, but also click with the right mouse button toward it as well (as if i'm trying to issue move commands). Never had that problem since. I hope this helps. Cheers
Welcome back to another game of being invaded lvl 1... I don't want to backseat game here but I think you may need to apply the rule of BORK. Only way to beat a Bork is with another Bork. The only way to stop the invade is to be the the invade.
You have to aim the herald in the direktion u want to go and then rightcklick to confirm basically, like you would issue a movement kommand ,works 100% for me

I’m low rank haven’t played very long at all but all I get are smurfs or just stuck with players who’ve played for years and I’m here with maybe like 2 days total in game. I enjoy the few I get against players of my skill but the games are so few and far between
i feel you so much except i play for a month and every 9 out of 10 games are just high ego smurfs who enjoy stomping dudes who entered their first match. league matchmaking system is unbelievable

You learn how to play better, there is no really way around it. It's frustrating but you don't have to climb too much, at gold+ elo smurfs are rare

Once you've hopped into the Herald, spam right-click in the direction you'd like to travel. Seems to work for me every time!
You have to wait a second before clicking with the herald. Otherwise I believe it sends you in the direction of where you entered from
