OMG! This very thing happened to me when my Mom died. My dad wrote me off as soon as my mother died. I have nothing of hers. My brother and SIL have everything. Even my baby pictures and school pictures. I was essentially orphaned the day she passed. I was with her when she died, he was at home in his recliner with my SIL by his side. The funeral was awful. I feel really bad for her. I wish I could hug her and tell her she’s better off without the toxicity.

I am an even stronger supporter of Police after seeing these clips. 😢 Seeing adults being so disrespective of the dangers officers contend with, theyve earned our respect. They are human and can make mistakes but I believe the majority are striving to do well.

Postal Service largely stopped receiving any taxpayer money. Postal operations are instead funded by sales to you, the postal customer. Now it depends almost entirely on sales to keep the lights on.
At the same time, it is still required to deliver to neighborhoods across the nation, six days a week, even those far-reaching places that private carriers don’t deliver to because it’s not profitable.

There is actually a logical reason why you are not allowed to record in a post office. If you record someone’s personal address and post it online, you could cause a whole bunch of issues. Depending on the person, you could get them killed. Care about someone other than just yourself and you 1 second of fame.

@@gemmalynn536Ummm....a Post Office is a unique thing. It is, in fact, a Privately Owned Business, YET Mandated by the Federal Government to provide Service to/for the Public. It is also bound by the exact same Constitutional Rights/Laws as any and all Government entities. As in, you can film anything about it from Public, you can film inside of ALL public/public accessible areas (lobbies, foyers, area open to purchase). You need NO permission as you already have that Legal Right. You cannot film people's personal info (cc#, ID when shown, ect. while purchasing/prepping to purchase inside). In fact, USPS has what is referred to as Poster 7. It is supposed to be hung in the entry/foyer area. People often refer to it as rules for the Post Office, but it is basically a cliff note version of your Legal Rights there and any rules they want you to know. It states that you CAN film in those areas, but if it is for Commercial use, you then need permission......because using that to sell a product would be illegal (same as if someone visited your home, filmed inside it and used that film to sell, say couches...they would be making a profit on what YOU OWN). Most people filming are....Tourists, people who like architecture, Auditors, media (technically anyone filming is Legal Media). Another thing people do not understand about USPS and Government and Money......USPS receives NO actual money from taxes/Government...at all. They must petition Government for the ability to increase prices (temp or perm) to make up for any losses. They get discounts on loans, etc. Many call that getting paid by Gov, but, umm, how....that would mean when you get the senior discount at an eatery, the eatery is paying you? No actual money goes to them EXCEPT what they earn from sales. Gov is also the reason they are in perpetual debt (imagine being forced to Pre Pay Retirement for Future Employees - 75 years in advance!). It is the ONLY Government type entity forced to do that. Also, being a mandated Government Service is should not actually make a profit.....the idea is for it to be cost saving enough all people can use it (basic mail).

The postal service is not government owned at all. It's literally self funded. Huge misconception from the public. I worked there for over 10 years and people always feel like their "tax dollars" paid us but they didn't therefore they have their own rules and it is a private business.

It may be self funded, in some ways, but it doesn’t have the funds to pay for the MANY services the USPS provides, that are not related to mail delivery. Also, the position of postmaster general is a government position that is appointed and under the authority of the federal government. That is why it is officially called the UNITED STATES Postal Service and not the Post Office. Tax dollars absolutely fund the USPS and those idiot auditors are too stupid to understand what they can and can’t do there.

You're very incorrect. The store is private property. Once the man was asked to leave the premises and refused, he was in fact committing the crime of trespassing. The staff of the store can ask anyone to leave for any reason (other than protected reasons like race, gender, religion, etc). They can ask you to leave because they don't like your haircut if they wanted, and you HAVE to leave or you run the risk of being arrested.
