  • In this video I share my first 6 months of profit from owning a dumpster rental business. As with any business start up, the beginning of my business was a slow one filled with many learning curve obstacles to overcome. There were ups and down to the learning the business but after months of researching and investigating my pricing, my time of rentals, advertising, learning software just to name a few things, I started to see an increase in customers and ultimately profit. Whether you are just starting your own dumpster rental business or are a seasoned owner, I hope this can be of some help as I continue to learn along this journey.

Keep up the positive attitude brother it's the best thing you can do. I'm over here in New Jersey with my roll off trailer and a couple of bins and had a major set back in the process of starting out. All we can do is keep moving forward and waiting it out.

This is awesome info! Thanks for sharing. I just purchased a new BigTex 14LD and am starting my dump business. This is a huge help.

Great video, I've learned a lot from your channel. We did a little over $5,000 before fees in our first month with 3 bins (half was from a builder tearing out trees) still super excited to see where we can take it.

Keep up the great videos it's definitely a learning process. I went to your website and looked at your pricing I believe that you are giving to big of a discount on your 1 day rentals from your 2 day rentals. I do 3 day and 7 day rentals and includes 2 tons. I do 1 day rentals if people ask and I only discount it by $25. The only reason why I discount it only by $25 is because your trucking cost are the same, your dump fees are the same and your fixed costs for the dumpster are the same the only thing that changes the is the amount of time that the dumpster is sitting on the property. So it's really what is your dumpster worth per day plus all other costs on top of that.

I'm just watching this again. I started at this point in the year much like you. I had one rental in december. And now I'm trying to hustle to get my second. I have 3 bins currently and I'm looking to get another 3-4 bins that are 20 yarders to make my 15s and 20s a different option.

I believe you are in Maine you said? If you could possibly reach out to any drilling rig sights, that would be a very good place to put some trash trailer to make big profits. I do believe you are on the right track. With a man of your patients you will make a profitable business. It seems the RV transport has tanked at the moment. Lol

Hey Jason! Thanks for reaching out! I’m actually in Indiana about an hour away from Indianapolis. I DO think you have a good idea for someone over there though! Patience is key and I’ve definitely been conditioned in life to use it in tough circumstances where I had no other options. RV Transport has definitely fallen off with all the temporary factors. I seemingly, accidentally, transitioned over to dumpsters at the right time several months ago to have a functioning business right now that can somewhat/largely pay the bills even now. I’m incredibly grateful to God and His leading for how this has played out. I don’t deserve it. I appreciate you sir! Thanks for watching and sharing!

How come you don't do junk removal? You don't know what you're missing. The little extra work but it's worth it

Daniel, you seem like a nice guy, I like your personality but man you ramble a little too much, people that come to these types of sites want the meat of your information without useless information, I'm new at this also but I know you have to have 15 to 20 dumpsters to equal what one will do in Junk removal I make $800 to $1600 a day now with a landscape trailer.
