I bore sighted two new rifles very quickly last weekend, just holding the rifles and painting the laser on the wall. My elevation was almost perfect and windage was 4 moa off bullseye at 100 yards on one rifle and the other was 2 moa low and 4 to the left. It took me 6 rounds each to get on zero. Just great as far as I'm concerned. Had I actually taken more time it probably would have been even closer. An excellent addition to my gear
I've had this bore sight for about 4 years now and it works great. The only problem is Site Lites ballistic calculator. The bullet weights are off. I use either a 165 gr or 178 grain 30-06 rounds which they have them listed as a 164 or 179 gr. I known that's just 1 gr off, but a little correction can help in longer distance shots.
