i was the AFK this game lmao, had garbage options on round 3 so i tried to go for a zerus highroll, didnt end up working out sadly but it was worth trying it for the memes, gg man!
i think that towards the end the murozond was actually amazing, it ends up only costing one gold and you could have gotten a battlecry, since the foe had murlocs

He also freezes on 2 battlecry minions that do absolutely nothing and says they're "decent battlecries" in the same round
@@mortennielsen7349 say what now,? Every battlecry is +6+6 in stats. Way better to take anything than to throw away gold for +2/+2 on a Magician or something.

Hey, Reg, when using the Galakrond hero, you hit and freeze the same minion with your hero power and buy whatever else is available, lvl up when possible, but always hit that one minion with the hero power and freeze it. Then on 7 gold you have a lvl 6 minion that you can buy and build your comp around. You'll be super powerful going into midgame and get top 4 finish every time.
While we discussed this at length, I'm not convinced it's better than playing a traditional opener and just using it mid- to late-game. More time will tell. We used it to bump a couple tiers in previous games, and it never felt that good.
@@RegisKillbin you're up late, good sir. Although I had your stream up, I wasn't listening to what was being discussed. But I tested it myself, have seen other streamers do it, and it doesn't feel good. It feels counter-intuitive. Just picking up whatever is on the board and freezing on that one minion every time feels bad. But then you hit that early 6 star minion and although you might have lost the first few rounds, that minion is going to carry you.
Lvl six minions on turn 5 break the game. That's how you must look at it. On turn 5 you have the strongest minion going into midgame. You will scale your build around that minion quicker than grinding to lvl 5 or 6 and hoping you get good rolls. But yes, you will likely take dmg early and it doesn't feel good. Give it a try on your stream tomorrow. If you lose and don't like it, oh well. Who cares about one loss trying a strategy? If you do well with it, you'll know you can fall back on that moving forward if Galakrond ever shows up.

Amalgam -> Demons/Murlocs -> Dragons

If you guys are talking about a specific piece of media, I'm not referencing it. An editor did this video while I was streaming, but beyond that, I'm only familiar with the phrase "here be dragons" as a general omen of danger, especially as a mapmaking trope.

You have to wonder if this was lost when he passed on the mega, it could have pulled it out of the pool long enough to be passed and still buffed his units. Still a fun run!

bro at 26:58 you could have sold the merlock then bought the dude that buffs taunt (tier 5) buffing the dragons then used hero power to roll for a tier 6 minion to finish on!!!!

Yes that's exactly how it works but it could be a huge setback if, for instance, you rush to a tier 6 just to get a Megasaur when you're not running murlocs.
Wil Can you hero power a tier six to get a new tier 6 minion? Bc then it’s not a big deal to get a bad minion

Saw your review on the new cards and since you were not convinced of holy mackerel i just had 2 on board which just kept giving the other one divine shield FOREVER :P Don't think the 3rd (golden) would be worth that.

You definitely should have leveled on 4, not because of battlecries, but in that lobby especially you had pretty much infinite time to triple the Kalecgos. Plus, Murazond is super good with Kalecgos because it's the only battlecry that sells back for 2 gold at that point. I was thinking you should have leveled when it cost 5.
When he cries "so close" upon dying when it was far from close, lol.
There was 12 health on board... If you count an average demon from Mama, let's be generous and say 17 health.
The opponent started the round with... 283 health (factoring in the same demon average). So we did 266 out of 283 damage, but you think it's "far from close?"
@@RegisKillbin yes I would say it is otherwise almost all end games are "close". When a match is a close loss, to me it means that you were one hit and a few hp away from winning but in this case you were at least 3 hits away, that's not close in my book when you maybe do 12 hits per battle on average (not counting small 1 damage token hits) end game. How many hps out of the total that you did has less signifcance. If someone survives with 5 poisonous murlocs each having 1 hp left, it wasn't a close loss because they could all kill 5 minions.
get a zerus then you can upgrade the thing it comes out of it, works for malygos too, gotta get lucky

Dragons feel a bit too slow. I’d rather go murlocs and fish for divine shield + poison, or a giant board of big demons. Hopefully some balance changes go live after a week or 2 of data
You need to get the biggest Dragon as fast as possible to compete
Not say right now but I think murlocs need to get retired. Or get rid of one of the op cards: bran or megasaur
maybe pocket nerf megasaur so that it can't give poisonous?
Another pocket nerf idea, to make it only buff it's neighbors.
Either way, i feel murlocs would be way too weak without the megasaur late game. (I not knowing about the new murloc cards with the patch)
I think they’re fine given that they have a terrible mid game

They basically got nerfed with this update they added more tier 6 and 5 units harder to get megasaur and brann ghoul was added to pop Devine shields also you can’t get Devine shield murlocs every game it’s hard to force

U can't stay on 4 with dragons. That's why u lost. Maybe if u had taverned up earlier, u would have a big ass razorgore with divine shield at the end

Hey east coast mobile player here is anyone else having trouble logging on today? I've tried everything including clearing data and un/reinstalling and it let me log back in smoothly, but still stalls out or crashes.

@@leecairnduff8021 that sucks dude but Hey I tried deleting HS then redownloading thru Amazon app store instead and it worked!! Just make sure when you open to go to asst downloader and download everthing or you cant even see your cards lol hopfully you wont have this issue I did but was a quick fix. Love the name Btw it tripped me out at first lol.

Is it me, or are dragons uncharacteristically weak in battlegrounds? They're slow to buff, since the only reliable options to do this are tier 5 minions or higher, and only a handful have their own self-buffs that actually stick after a match. I've tried hard to make a dragon build work, but by the time I get to a respectable level I'm just completely flattened by rival minions which have health totals in the 30's and 50's while my measly dragons are, at best, around 12-15.
Whelps help to get a bit of pre-match damage in, but the odd 6-12 damage at the start of a match rarely swings the board enough unless you get lucky enough to hit some key minions. Herald of Flame sounds amazing on paper, but almost never sees enough buffs to make the overkill do anything worthwhile, and his power only really shines against token builds anyway.
I might have to stick to builds which offer more options for buffing, whether that's magnetic mechs, murlocs or demons, most of the pre-existing tribes just had far more flexibility.
Crystan. A proper dragon build will just out stat anything except murlocs. If you the dragon that gains 1/1 for every dragon you control at the end of the turn you’ll get some insanely large minions.

He froze it after he rolled on 4, his hero power only rolls one minion so you can chain it turn each turn
