Watching the bite is so satisfying. I don’t think I’ve heard you say why you clip off the bait keeper?

Hey, I clip off the keeper because it makes the baits last longer. The barb on the keeper really tears up the baits. Also, on really small soft plastics the keeper can deform the bait and the action and increase line twisting. However, on real big soft plastic baits, sometimes the keeper can be a good thing. Hey, I have Seefish Transducer Mount 2.0 (8in) by SeeLite:

mount-2-0. However, I have been dissatisfied with it. It is hard to adjust the tension knob, to turn the transducer. So it wont stay on thebtarget fish. Very frustrating. And basically you have only about 60 degrees of cone. I am going to be getting a sniper pole by sniper marine sometime this month. Totally different mechanism. Very high quality. I hope that helps.
