The greatest thing about MJ is that he sing live as great as he sounds in the recording studio.. no audio tune no lip sync.. all live.. truly the greatest of all time
No offense I'm a sucker for MJ but that's not true. His studio performances are out of this world. He gives it all there but naturally not on stage. Because his unique, harsh, sharp technique is not sustainable for live stage. His volume is down, phrases are shorter, harsh parts are more controlled in live. And his breath support is not full because he dances each second of it, such a beast.

Although he wrote great pop songs it is clear from this performance there was a part of his heart devoted exclusively to rock and he was catering to that fan base as well. As a black guy, you would never attempt a rock song unless you put your heart into it and he does that here. Whoever knew a rock song needed a dance to go with it. Janet does the same with Black Cat. He was serious as ah heart attack during this performance. If he had any makeup up on his face it had to have all melted off after just this one song.

Although he wrote great pop songs it is clear from this performance there was a part of his heart devoted exclusively to rock and he was catering to that fan base as well. As a black guy, you would never attempt a rock song unless you put your heart into it and he does that here. Whoever knew a rock song needed a dance to go with it. Janet does the same with Black Cat. He was serious as ah heart attack during this performance. If he had any makeup up on his face it had to have all melted off after just this one song.
