here is a project and possibly a video idea for you. Set up a speedometer app on your cell phone and ride the bike. Compare what the cell phone says (uses the gps satellites) vs what the bike screen says for the speed you are going. I never did that on mine, but I might do it, just to test the accuracy of speedo.
Howdy Bob. There are lots of guys on TH-cam running those GPS apps for speed accuracy. This is how they are double checking that LCD panel which is usually wrong. THANKS for the idea and for watching ..!! > 🙂

Update on my new Romeo, new fork is being shipped Friday, throttle, and other misc shipped. Seat is still in question as to availability. New derailleur is coming today from Amazon, I paid for this with the promise of reimbursement. Frame damage repair is done on the derailleur mount and dropout area. The seller has been very responsive and fast to react to emails. They should have just sent me another bike in my opinion, but I didn’t ask. I could still be two weeks out on my first ride.

I would think, shipping a new bike to you would be cheaper, but then you add in the cost of them paying for the broken bike to be shipped back, and that might just make sending parts to you cheaper on their end.

@@JamesBoren oh, I agree. New bike should be sent to him. But the bean counters have determined it is less of a financial loss for them to not do so. With that being said, if it happened to me, I would never buy another bike from the company that did this to him. How does that saying go? Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.
@@Boobtube. Hi there Bob. Yup I totally agree. I think that Lee took a real pounding on this deal. It seems to me that he endured quite a bit of damage to that bike of his. Are you sure Jim, that you did not buy the ebike because it is almost Army Green?
Howdy Billy. Well this "slime green" color only played a small part in my overall decision. There were other E-Bike parameters that were much more important. This "lizard green" is not all that attractive but I have plans to decorate the bike with a U.S. Army theme. THANKS for watching and for the comments/questions > 🙂
Hi again Billy. Well way back in my pea shaped brain, I am sure that I have been influenced by "US Army olive drab green". I served Uncle Sam for three years so this color has been branded into my mind. However I did not specifically go out looking for "olive drab". I just preferred it over the only two other colors which were black and gray. THANKS for the color questions > 🙂

The question is kind of interesting because it is made in jest, however, you and I both are simply products of our time and that will never go away. @@billykkutter Howdy Billy. Well as you know, this E-Bike market is flooded with perspective bikes. I am thinking that "Lectric" is a good company. I have a young friend that owns one of those fold up models. That "mid drive" decision is probably a good idea as well. There are + and -'s to both the mid hub drive and the rear hub drive. TO ME, as long as you get a bike that FITS and is comfortable to ride, these are the high priorities. THANKS for the input here. Greatly appreciated > 🙂
I notice a red cap missing on your bike to the left of you display on the handlebar bracket. I watched another video about this bike and that person had the same cap missing. He said he contacted the manufacturer and they said they would send it to him.
In your research, did you happen to come across one of these E Bikes intended for taller people, 6'3"?
I forgot to include on the comment of your last video talking about the shock absorber that on page 17 of the online manual it had a good picture of the orientation of the shock installed.
You might want to get a bike chain cleaner tool for when you do the maintenance and oil the chain.
I believe thats the way they all are, as far as the red cap. One side is to adjust the spring tension of the forks and the other side is to lock out the forks so they have no suspension at all. The manufacture of the bike fork does not have red cap on both sides, but there still is a cap there, just a different color. These E bike companies do not make all the parts on their bikes. They sub-contract the parts out. Forks, brakes, shifters, batteries, etc. What most of them do make is the frame. I suspect the manufacture that is going to send the person you mention above, a red cap, it will only fit the right side, not the left. So he will just be getting what he already has.
Howdy Bill. I am thinking that Bob (below) answered this question of the missing cap rather well. Saved me a whole bunch of typing at any rate ..!! As far as I know, I am not missing anything on this bike, thank God ..!! As far as taller bikes for taller people, do you mean in the Eahora line ...?? They have a "Juliet" model that has adjustable seats. The Cyrusher Kuattro is another bike intended for taller people. You just have to do "size comparison" shopping to figure out what is best. So far I have not swapped that rear shock around. School is still out on that subject. THANKS for all this feedback..!! > 🙂

Did you get the Romeo pro battery? I ordered the Romeo pro and they gave me a Juliet battery 😢 I'm trying to get them to get me the correct battery. Also the brake light was broken in shipping
Howdy Pony. YES I remember my battery saying "Juliet" on it but I did not think much about this situation. On one of my TH-cam review videos concerning this E-Bike, I can remember that I video recorded the spec tag on this battery. That should give the output on this battery I am thinking. Of course speed isnt the most important piece of information. Especially top speed. But it's good to know.
For me, i know if a bike tops out at 38mph, that it is worth looking further i to, because if it can't get to 32 fairly easily, i cant safely ride it on a 30 MPH road, which is a big deal for where I live vs. Where i want to take it.
Hello Josh. Very good point of view here! It seems to me that one of the main factors when looking at these E-Bike reviews is the top speed of the bike being reviewed. Yes I agree that a person should know this factor > 🙂
After watching your video I noticed that you have a Juliet battery also . You were supposed to get a 1200w. The battery that's on your bike is not going to perform like the pro battery would. I wonder if they are doing that to everyone?
Hello Pony. THANKS for noticing that. I had no idea that I might have the wrong sized battery. I only charged that battery up once and then winter came to Montana where I live. I never did get the chance to test that battery for endurance. I will have to check into this situation > 🙂

@@ponybiker5548 Awww not a problem! My existing battery is very large and seemed to hold a very big charge. My first charge was well over 8 hours. It is better to be safe than sorry. Good work!
