Finding a reasonably priced vacuum that meets your expectations can be quite challenging. Your review of the SilverCrest 2-in-1 Cordless Vacuum was well done and informative. Cheers👍❤
Just bought one... Noticed when emptying you took the whole body apart. It has a latch and flip lid on the bottom that allows you to empty without getting your hands dirty.
the reason it comes apart is its impossible to empty otherwise. any non atomic sized dirt gets stuck at the top. no idea why there is an eco mode. bought it to replace aging dyson dc16. now giving this away rather than dumping it.
Thank you. We're finding this very handy and well worth the price in my opinion. We prefer it to the Aldi version, which was a little cheaper but not quite as powerful and doesn't run as long on a full charge. Hope this helps.
This is a decent product, however mine lasted only about a year, at which point the roller stopped working. I took it apart and found that the cable had come apart at the bottom of the "pole". I fixed it, and it lasted another year, and then the same thing happened. I got rid of it at that point.
Hi! I bought one and I'm happy with it. Just one thing, I realize it can't be used to suck the air from a vacuum bag (to store clothes). It doesn't came with the adaptor. Do you know where can we get that accesory or if there any hack? Thanks.
That’s a shame. Sorry I’m not sure if there is a way around that. I haven’t used those clothes storage bags. Hopefully someone else will respond with a solution.
Thanks but why did you take the whole gut out to empty the bin? It has a latch to easily empty the bin directly in the bin. You just need to do the surgery once you want to wash/empty the filter.
Sorry, I hadn’t realised the video had stopped recording for that part. There is a clear plastic catch on the dust container at the opposite end of where the filter is.
I bought this and after a lot of trial and error found that this pretty much works for about a month then starts to succumb to design flaws and weak suction. The space between the intake slot and the middle pillar of the capture container is so narrow when collecting dust things just catch there and stop other things from entering the container/being sucked up. The hoover pretty much has to be on Max setting to work. Definitely feels like the old £30 hoovers you got from Argos back in the day.
£64.99. Wow, excellent deal. B&Q are selling it for £99 🥶. Anyways.. I wonder if this vacuum has a on or off button or it requires to hold the button down while in use🤔
@@Mandyglen another negative point in seeing is that it doesn't seem to have LED lights at the front. I love the LED lights! They help me see where the dirt is hiding. 😀
It drives me crazy that it's just luck whether Lidl currently has these items in stock, at least in The States. I wish they had website for Silvercreast and Parkside products, so I can buy them any time.
I bought one of these yesterday. I have had it on charge overnight. I have three continuous green lights with the fourth flashing. I push the on/off button and nothing happens. I spent sometime online with Lidl customer service to try and find out if it was something I was doing. They just told me that someone would call me back. I asked them if I could return it to the store and they said yes. I just got a swap. I've plugged it in and it has two green light continuously on, but nothing happens when I push the on/off button. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
That’s strange. The only things I can think of are is the battery attached properly and are you trying to turn it on while the battery is plugged in to the charger? It won’t run while charging.
We have had this over a year and although it had go suction at the start it’s definitely a lot weaker now. We clean the filter regularly but items still drop out of it after hoovering the kitchen floor. Still ok for dust but anything heavier it won’t stay in the chamber. Basically you get what you pay for with this one.
What about the cleaning of head? Is it easy clean or there is hair tangling? I really don’t want to cut some hairs from the head, it is very important to me.
130watt motor is very weak, this is probably ideal for dust but for everyday use in homes this is not what you want, you did mention that the extender pole/suction tube is made of stainless steel 🤣 its made of Aluminium 🤦♂️

It is hard to find a good vacuum at a reasonable price. You did a nice review of the SilverCrest 2-in-1 Cordless Vacuum.
Just bought one... Noticed when emptying you took the whole body apart. It has a latch and flip lid on the bottom that allows you to empty without getting your hands dirty.
Yes, it’s really easy to simply empty. I showed taking it apart to get to the filter which will need a clean every few weeks.
It looks nice and worked well, That looks like a great Vacuum Thanks for the great review!
Love music when you plug battery in I was head banging 🤗
Great price! Great review! Thanks for sharing.
Looks like a great vacuum cleaner 👍
Thank you for the review and much appreciated.
Awesome vacuum cleaner... and it''s cordless! Nice one.

Good vid, in depth, detailed, but is it any good? 1/3 of the price of the Henry equivalent but it looks tempting all the same. 😊

Can you show us another way to empty the bin - as I was struggling and followed the way she demonstrated.

Wow! Thats a considerable amount! Yes, it has an on/off button.
This is going for £32.49 at Lidl next week
I am camping out tonight - buzzing 🐝
Is it good ?
Got mine today in the sale!
@@clareneely6697 there was 2 in my local shop I bought both 😶
Can't find any in Dundee
Hows the noise in your opinion? It sounds really loud on video.
I’d say normal for a vacuum cleaner. The camera was very close so it does sound a little louder on there.
@@Mandyglen tyvm!
If there's a cheap offer on F book for Lidl or Aldi call their customer services to check if it's genuine
Nice 😊
Thanks for the review! Does it stand upright on its own?
No, unfortunately it needs the holder in a wall or you can take it apart and store it in a bundle. Hope this helps.
@@Mandyglen another negative point in seeing is that it doesn't seem to have LED lights at the front. I love the LED lights! They help me see where the dirt is hiding. 😀
I like the lights too. Great for under the bed ☺️

It's the same here in the UK. A bit hit and miss. We have several stores within a few miles of each other and they all vary on stock.

Press and hold the power button then select MAX or ECO, That's what starts the vacuum.
Ah yes, that’s perfect.

It’s like any hoover head really. I guess if you remove any hair that it picks up after every use then it would be easier than letting it build up 😊

is this an advert or a review? You sound like a sales person...
Wish I was on commission. Don't work for Lidl but I'll take this as a compliment?! 😂
nice review seems very cheap quite some useful tools with it looks to work well on test
*🦘Au🦘💯full view always📺thumbs up👍😎*
Does the hair get tangled or does it self clean for hair on the brush
