    I´m from Jalisco, the birthplace of Tequila and seeing this man properly tasting high quality tequila makes me very happy. I see Fortaleza(los abuelos) tequila in the back, that is for me my all time favorite tequila, Jay knows what he´s doing.

      Appreciate the kind words. I started buying a lot and figured I might as well talk about it since I’m spending all of my money on it lol

      @@JayDrinking You have some of the best tequilas up there, it´s hard to recommend you some new ones that would top those but i can try, if you can get your hands on Atanasio or Don Fulano tequilas (both are blanco of course) i think you could be pleasantly surprised. Cheers!

      @@JayDrinking Amazing! This month I got tequila ocho plata and Volcan de mi tierra blanco, You are a true conosseur indeed! It is hard to choose between so many good tequilas right? but at this point i think my all time favorites are Fortaleza and G4, and Cascahuin! Next time I`m in the market for a new one will definetly look at your videos first.

      @@juancarlosuribe absolutely, as you will see as you drink more. You will be able to start tasting the differences, and choosing to drink them at different points.

    I just tried this bottle for the first time tonight. Your assessment is spot on. I was drinking G4 Blanco first and find that one to be cooked agave and citrus forward. The Tahona is not that. There is cooked agave but mineral forward and citrus is nonexistent to me. A little pricey for a blanco but glad to have the bottle.

    • @JayDrinking
      @JayDrinking  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah the price tag comes with the slower labor intensive process for sure.

    You speaking big facts on Cascahuin! Can't go wrong with Fortaleza, Cascahuin or El Tesoro. Top 6 in my flavor profiles, especially for blancos. I'm also a fan of El Tequileno, Tequila Ocho.

      I've been a huge fan of tapatio(el tessoro comes from thier distillery) and siete leguas. Anything from cascahuins distillery is amazing. Really low thier tahona and all of wild common. Tapatio anejo thier 110 and siete leguas anejo have just been my go to especially for the money.

    My store is ordering this one in for me. The Blanco is excellent and I have a bottle of the 48, but haven't opened it yet.

  • @MezsiaH
    @MezsiaH 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    The Cerro de Luz(second most expensive) is definitely tough to find. I think the Extra Anejo is a standard extra anejo and not a special release, it should be easier to find but everyone buys it when they come across it. The Brix is a bit pricey but can find it online. The one that is truly a collector's item at this point is the Anniversario(most expensive) and apparently the best tasting tequila from the lineup.

    "Smells like what tequilla should smell like" - "Tastes like Agave/pepper/clean/dirty martini" come on man, educate yourself on tequila before doing reviews.

      Thanks for comment smart guy. I could get on here and write down other ppls notes and read them off paper but who would that benefit?
      What would you say Tahona tastes like? I would love to be educated by a educated agave connoisseur like yourself.
