I saw this kid play live at the Cambridge Folk Festival on 31 July this year. He tore the house down on Stage 2. He will never play Stage 2 again - and that's if they can even afford him next time on Stage 1. He was simply phenomenal.

But I guess the thing that really grabbed my attn was that this brother is still fairly young, and from what I've read hasnt really been playing that long..? So to have this type of skill set, and really to even be interested in playing guitar, which is a whole other topic in itself, I thought was pretty cool 👍🙂 God Bless

As a guitarist this guy brings tears to my eyes with his licks and clean picking. One of the best true guitarists I have ever heard. I’ve played with many guitarists but I think this fella really plays with true essence and heart.
I didn’t know guitar solo’s could go on so long and still be innovative he was losing me then sucked me right back in with chord and rhythm changes. Kingfish... got it going on!!!
At the time of this recording. Kingfish had been playing for 3 years. And I would bet money he's self taught. Ive been playing for 5 years and i have nowhere near the skill level of this young man. I have rather short thin fingers. And getting the correct position for certain notes is difficult for me. I am amazed at folks like Kingfish, Johnny Hilland, etc. With rather fat sausage fingers. Who can get all over a fret board. That was some fine playing. Not just Kingfish, theres some really talented young people killin it. Love watching young kids rip it up.

This Man is awesome. i have been trying to play guitar for years i blamed it on my fat fingers, short fat fingers. His hand is way way bigger then mine and listen to him shred.
