Shop Tour of Saleen Automotive - See the New S302 Mustangs Plus Some Surprises!

- In this shop tour video we get an exclusive look behind the scenes at Saleen Automotive headquarters in Corona California by Steve Saleen himself and he will show us a few special vehicle surprises you might never expect to see!
Not to give too much away but there's a good look at the new Super Car project called Saleen1 or S1 and a walk through the production area of the exciting new Saleen S302 Mustangs.
The Saleen S302 Mustangs come in three flavors:
White Label- This is the base model that has many exterior changes for handsome looks and improved aerodynamics, with suspension tweaks and an aggressive wheel and tire combination. It has custom interior bits, exhaust and an upgraded engine tune good for 475 horsepower! The thing that blows me away about the Saleen White Label car is the fact that it starts at $46,000 ... the SAME price as a stock Ford Musang GT Premium and can be bought at a dealer and financed like a factory car plus has the same warranty!
In my opinion, if people new this... they would choose the Saleen S302 over stock any day. I would for sure!
Yellow Label- This one takes a huge leap from the White Label and the horsepower goes up to 740 with just about everything else on the vehicle tweaked by Saleen and starts at $57,000
Black Label- This model gets the full treatment. The entire vehicle gets massaged and upgraded with the top of the line Saleen components. Horsepower is to be determined by the owner!

That saleen front bumper looks 1,000 times better than the factory 2018 mustang bumper.
Yeah the 18-up front bumper just doesn’t fit at all ! 15-17 looked better. Now the Mach 1 and GT500 bumpers look excellent ! But I’m still more of an S197 guy with the classic body lines !

I'm a Mustang man... But good Lord who designed the bodygap panels between the hood and the front fascia on the 2018.. From the factory every single one of them doesn't like up at all! Saleen fixed that with their highest label car with the new hood/ fascia

I LOVE TOO SEE HOW MY 900HP SUPER SNAKE WOULD STACK UP AGAINST A NEW SALEEN MY GUESS ON A ROAD COURSE THE SALEEN PROBABLY WOULD TAKE ME BUT IN A STRAIGHT LINE I THINK MY 900HP WOULD OVER TAKE THE SALEEN.

Ok, the Saleen S1 puts out 450HP using a Saleen Built 2.5L motor, weighs 2700lb.s, 0 to 60 time of 3.5 sec.s and a Top Speed of 180MPH!...All for $100,000.00!

Had a chance Once of Getting a Black 03 Saleen Extreme,Lysolm Supercharger,W/ About 55-60 h.p. than the Reg.Suprcgrd.Saleen,W/ Very Low mls.Wished I Had Gotten it,Believe it had 4.10 Rear Diff.Had Better Brakes than the Must.Cobra Terminator,W/ Quad Piston Calipers in Frt.&:Dual Piston Cals.in Rear.Saleen Always Had Better Brakes than the Must.Cobras,From 1996-7 & Up.

That's probably the only Tesla I'd buy, but I would still take any other Saleen over it. Glad to see he's doing ok after his ex-wife screwed him over.
Is that actually what happened though? Yeah Saleen was pretty quiet after the 05-09 Mustang's rein ended.
It makes no sense, it has the same performance as when it left the factory maybe less because of the bigger wheels. It seems like a waste of money

The Fox in the background is nice..Saleen to me had an era, and the era ended in the early 90s. With exception to the S7, I see no point in them selling cars.
I'm a little confused about the pricing point on these cars. It just sounds too good to be true. Or are those prices in addition to the base GT?
These are the correct prices and why they are such a "good deal" for the performance gains.

He should have done an updated version of the S7 and add more Power and Torque to and the Tesla doesn't fit properly in his line up of gas powered fleet. He needs new ideas I see why the company went bankrupt.

Plus, you contradict yourself by saying the Tesla doesn't fit and immediately stating he needs new ideas. Get it? Just trying to inspire you to be less critical for the sake of it.
