To all the viewers, I highly recommend checking out Evan Brewer's two instrumental solo albums, Alone and Your Itinerary. The first album consists only of bass, and the second one adds drums and synth/keyboards to the mix. Both albums are sick, and you definitely won't regret checking them out.
@@boarderking133 you right. I keep sounding the alarm. That core section of Navene and Evan Brewer..one of the most brutal lineups to ever hit it. I’m just gonna bide my time till sleep does the right thing here..
His popping during the verse riffs makes it punch so hard in the album. I was wondering why the riffs stuck out so much than previous records. Dudes a beast
its a shame, ended up leaving, or not play a single show, but he couldn't tour due to family commitments, sick he did the bass on this record tho, love Evans early solo stuff to death.
Might legit be my AOTY when this releases in September. Can't wait. I'm also at a point in my own playing career where I'm confident enough to finally pick up and learn Fallujah songs. Hope you guys release a tab book for the album!
Brewer being amazing as always. I hope his bass in audible in the final mix! Edit: Oh, and got to say that this kind of feels like a solid comeback from Fallujah. Also, hope we get some more Underling now.
I don’t watch a ton of bass playing but I find that right hand technique pretty interesting. I couldn’t imagine myself without a pick doing that without a ton of experience.
@@tomkruze1304 it was actually Victor's brother Reggie who taught him. Reggie taught all of the Wooten brother how to play their instruments. Legendary teacher!
His work in faceless and his own songs called actualize and degenerate are my all time fav,,,,, literally one of greatest ans extreme bassy of all time!
Yeah, not flashy since most of the slappers do crazy moves with their hands while slapping. This style is like 69 % more efficient and sounds incredibly even. Personally I've never seen a player slap like this, but I instantly like it.
Are there any walkthroughs of this song that breaks it down part for part? Would love to learn it but some parts are so fast it's hard to see exactly how he's playing the part!
Not for nothing, how is this guy a member of the band? Zero touring so far, idk if has played live with them at all… could be wrong there just not aware of any live performances. Guys good and got cred but pass the position onto small fry officially, dude is a beast of a player much like brewz here

Actualize gives me goosebumps every time.
@@bongasmr4u656 It's a pleasant banger, that's for sure.
Good looking out!
Also would recommend the first couple of Entheos records he plays bass on as well!
Listening to them right now thanks to your comment. So good.
animosity, the faceless and now fallujah.
true talented musician since 2006, total support.
forgetting entheos

Lest we for get the almighty Entheos... Who are about to drop a new album with Evan on it. Which excites me more than most things.
@@boarderking133 I don't like them lol
What about Reflux lol
It took me a second. "oh, its Even... I missed this guy". Thanks for being in yet another fantastic band.
Evan please release one more solo album. We've been waiting 10 years my guy
His playing is impeccable, it cuts right through the mix beautifully. That thumb is lethal…
Evan, if you ever read this, you're my bass hero. Always excited to see you play even if it's on TH-cam.
I love Evan's playing so much. Even in super technical bands he always has just the right amount of funk and groove. super unique
His popping during the verse riffs makes it punch so hard in the album. I was wondering why the riffs stuck out so much than previous records. Dudes a beast
Evan is no doubt one of the best bassist of the past 20+ years. Check out his 2 solo albums
its a shame, ended up leaving, or not play a single show, but he couldn't tour due to family commitments, sick he did the bass on this record tho, love Evans early solo stuff to death.
hes on the newest record coming out next year
the SLAP,
the f u n k,
the BRVTAL
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Evan is so underrated, I wish there was more of him everywhere. Love this stuff.

Damnum has already taken that title.

2:32 is classic Evan Brewer magic right there
Now Killian gets to do the official live version.
Fallujah back at it with some killer writing !! 🙌🏻🤘🏻

Holy shit this makes me so happy. Evan, you're a true inspiration to me. This album is going to be so sick with you adding your magic to it.
Boy Howdy! Evan has got mad skills!! \m/
one of the best bass players in the scene
Incredibly talented! Wish this guy would tour more
1:44 - 1:54 wow.
Evan brewer was wasted talent w the faceless. I'm so glad he's a part of new fallujah!
I don’t watch a ton of bass playing but I find that right hand technique pretty interesting. I couldn’t imagine myself without a pick doing that without a ton of experience.
Victor Wooten influenced/taught him thumb style you see.

2:20 jesus christ
So good to see you back, and with Fallujah?! Super stoked for the new album, seems like a return to form for a band I've loved for awhile.
Absolutely incredible. Inspiration to pick my bass up again!
Lo mejor que le pudo haber pasado a Fallujah fue contar con este perro!! 🤘
Yes, my metal slap bass brother. Yes.
The legend returnssss
This brings me great pleasure.

WHERE THE FUCK HAS THIS GUY BEEN???
EVAN IS HERE!!!!!
Man I am so glad Evan is playing music again especially with Fallujah. Will you guys ever release any bass/guitar tab books?
What do you mean will you ever? They have fit literally every album poser
me too! would love to learn Evan's parts on Empyrean
@@serpentinefire921 yeah they don’t have bass tab books for none of their albums? How does that make me a poser wtf lmao

Gleaming hard!
please sell also the instrumental version files of the new album!!!!
sick
Evan is beyond amazing.
Evan puts out a great show, I mean they all do but he's quite something on stage!
He doesn't tour with them tho, at least in Europe.
Not technically flashy but it fits the song well and the sound is highly sensual

Great sound
Amazing
Absolute masterpiece of an album
So tasteful and melodic and cool, love the tone too
stoked af
how did I not know Evan Brewer was in Fallujah? did I know he wasn't in entheos anymore? idk.
He's still in Entheos. He just doesn't tour.
Can a fellow bass player get a rig rundown? Very curious on the effects.
👍👍👌
So hype for the new album!
Mesmerizingly Good!
Your playing style reminds level 42 Mark King
Sick
Thanks a lot! Great playing!
Yes dude! So good
SHAW
Impresionante!!! Extraordinaria forma de tocar 🤘🏼🎸
guitar playthrough please
its sick!
I knew there was a reason why I like this song so much! Evan is an amazing bassist. Is he a permanent member of Fallujah or just on this song?
Metallum says he's official lineup
Are there any walkthroughs of this song that breaks it down part for part? Would love to learn it but some parts are so fast it's hard to see exactly how he's playing the part!
Is that a sequenced percussion part?
I had no idea Evan Was in Fallujah! When did he join the band??
he joined for this album specifically
Damn, I had no idea Ewan recorded the album! Is he a permanent member of the band? Thanks!
Yes, but isnt touring
dude WTF was that on 2:32
