Absolutely love the lads go check out there channel at tom and ben warhammer Lorehammer start 1:06:45 First break ends gameplay starts 1:53:00 Second break ends 3:06:50
Ever since they came out with Primaris at least. Before that, SM were still by far the largest group, but at least we weren’t getting a release every two months, or two dozen different variations of captains with very slight variations
3:33:36 the reason people like Amos is because he is technically a sociopath because he is deeply traumatized. His story arc is essentially him trying to grapple with his lack of moral compass.
I'm picturing grimaldus shouting at the titan princep as Arch Dornan from fallout 2, and am laughing my ass off. Thanks for that mental image, I love it.
In the recent elf mod jam. A mod for drycha was made in which your quests are replaced with collecting the infinity amber crystals, when you get all 5 you can thanod snap all the elves... just a thought if you guys were going to replay her
That Warhammer Quest has thrown me into a week long day in day out Darkest Dungeon maniac spree! SO HYPED! I loved BSF and never got into AOS, but this has me willing to freedive right in.
Gosh it'll be a whole week until I get to hear their reaction to that Azyr stirs teaser. I'm pretty sure I already know it's going to be "I don't really care about teasers" but I want to see it anyway.
When I played Skarsnik I used my first WWWAAAAAAGH against the wood elves to just overwhelm and autoresolve them. This stream shows why that was necessary. They just suck to fight.
About Maple Syrup, I am pretty sure we Canadians consume a fairly massive amount of it for sure. But we don't drink it, well not most of us anyway, its something we either put on stuff or we use in recipes, we do eat some of it as is when its fresh heated form and then dropped on snow so it turns semi-solid, typically at restaurants that serve food related to maple syrup and brunch. Anyhow yea considering we produce the most maple syrup than anyone else by far on the planet... added together, its no wonder.
2:27:26 That's actually a major thing in one of the Disney canon books, Leia's political career is basically ruined once people realise she's Vader's daughter.
Me when they were talking about COD. "What do the numbers mean Mason!" "by the gods.. They mean that warhammer was real all along!" Then they wake up as if it was a dream all along, and find out that they is gobbos. Edit: Canadian geese aren't the only ones that are "murder chickens". All geese are! They attack, they attack, but most importantly, they can not quack!
Yoda was a Jedi master by the age of 100. Either something happened to baby yoda to make him age slowly, or the writers are ret conning things once again.
The Emperor is normal human size and indeed uses psyker power to make him look imposing, when corvus corax first met big E he was able to shortly resist the image projected into his mind and saw a very average man.
I wish the Yogscast would play Town of Salem like it's probably an old game at this point and I doubt they'd be interested but I think it be fun if they just host a private match and there some much custom roles and things they've added in be great
Hey Tom & Ben have you guys looked at auto body paint its probably similar to model paint and definitely more essential i know PPG and Sherman Williams
I do love Amos in the expanse. But I don't know how much of that comes from having read the books. I felt like the actor playing him did an amazing job subtly conveying his character but if you didn't already know what to look for it might go right over your head.
*Amos Spoilers* God, that scene in the books where he breaks down and finally admits he has the closest thing to love that he will ever be able to manage for Clarissa, and all he can do for her is hope that her last few years of declining health are quick and relatively painless - I haven't broken down in tears from a book in a long, long time but that did it for me.
Tom and ben, just so you know, you said "who would watch every minute of every stream?" and honestly, I have watched every single one of your warhammer streams, some twice, and all of your xcom playthroughs, some of those 3 times. I don't watch every yogs stream because most don't interest me anymore, but I can say for sure I've watched every minute of your warhammer streams
I remember hearing somewhere that train driving is a well paying job, but that mostly because of the mental health aspect a lot of them go through when people kill themselves via train
The year is 2089. I am an old man, dying in a hospital bed. I hold my grandchildren close and whisper, "I... actually like the Nemesis Dreadknight..." My youngest grandson, a boy of 3, pulls my life support without a word.
13:00 It's why Warhammer overall is doing great, but also why Warhammer is not really a good game and it's losing a slip on the "good story" portion too. Everyone has to have everything, is great for sales, but also makes it so no one really stand out either. I'd compare it this way, old WH/40k is like a fire work display, not everything was great, but when it hit, wow. While new AoS/40k is like Time Square, pretty, technical and visually loud but also, nothing stands out really, it's just a bunch of the same thing.
My only real issue with the new Kong vs Godzilla movie is there looks like there's gonna be some rando comedic relief character that'll tag along, and after watching Jurassic World 2 that's a big no no for me, that type of character utterly ruined that movie for me and I can see it doing it again here
So I don’t play any miniwargaming, so I don’t understand why warhammer is a bad game. Can anyone explain what Tom and Ben mean when they say warhammer is just a bad game?
its balance is usually dogshit, a few factions will be op some will be useless, then within factions you get some amazing units and some units that are just not usable at all, and then in 6 months new books will be out and the balance will be all over the place in a different way
Hang on, ben complains about the heresy books all the time but he hasn't even read them, just the first three and their related books then siege of terra.
Man, I keep forgetting that they hate elves because they say “they hate elves” a lot. Because every time they explain why they hate elves, their information is wrong or outdated. I guess it is just a meme at this point.
I like that we've come full circle on the Star Wars movies. I remember when the prequels were absolute dogshit and the worst thing ever and ruining the franchise and nothing would ever improve them. Now I'm seeing people go "well, they weren't great, but they were better than THESE NEW MOVIES!" or even that the prequels were good but these NEW MOVIES. They're absolute dogshit and the worst thing ever and ruining the franchise and nothing will ever improve them.
I find that I can find something that I like in every movie, kinda like Bond movies. Some though are not my favorite, but I will rewatch them whenever they are on TV. To compare them though is fruitless. There is no objectivity with Star Wars fans. Its either their favorite = best or their least favorite = worst.
28:30 When Tom starts writing "Warhammer centurion," it first autofills to "centaurs"
Absolutely love the lads go check out there channel at tom and ben warhammer
Lorehammer start 1:06:45
First break ends gameplay starts 1:53:00
Second break ends 3:06:50
If Ben puts the "Ham" in "Warhammer", does that make Tom "Warmer"?
You son of a- You're onto something.
"Just more fucking space Marines". Sums up GW's release schedule pretty well
Ever since they came out with Primaris at least. Before that, SM were still by far the largest group, but at least we weren’t getting a release every two months, or two dozen different variations of captains with very slight variations
People keep buying them so they'll keep making more.
By Sigmar, 7 hours?! We'll be harvesting pearls from this pile for a while this day...
Tom: “I love Mothra”, I knew I liked Tom for some reason.
Why? Are you secretly Mothra?
Mothra lovers unite!
Mothra is a wood elf though:p
3:33:36 the reason people like Amos is because he is technically a sociopath because he is deeply traumatized. His story arc is essentially him trying to grapple with his lack of moral compass.
I'm picturing grimaldus shouting at the titan princep as Arch Dornan from fallout 2, and am laughing my ass off. Thanks for that mental image, I love it.
Lmao

Another episode of Goblin schemer and Crazy Squiq play war hammer
"but you don't, you find yourself eating bread from the bag, and dipping it... in anything.. runnier than bread"
As a Canadian I can confirm that we do indeed put all our hate into the geese.
When he started talking about geese I just laughed
Gosh it'll be a whole week until I get to hear their reaction to that Azyr stirs teaser. I'm pretty sure I already know it's going to be "I don't really care about teasers" but I want to see it anyway.
4:39:22 my favourite part
Wait until Tom discovers the Snipping tool, then whats new in warhammer tier list will be a proper segment
Ben what a gentleman letting me catch up on the stream and not giving me spoilers. Hats off to you.
Centurions are love because of Rogal Dorn
I didn't think Tom could sound excited, but then King Kong riding Godzilla came up.
Bam! Love it! Thank you to all of the donators who keep this show running
When I played Skarsnik I used my first WWWAAAAAAGH against the wood elves to just overwhelm and autoresolve them. This stream shows why that was necessary. They just suck to fight.
Wow I read Prospero Burns years ago and loved it and don't remember that stuff being in there at all.
The mountain IS Krakanrok the Black (father of the dragon ogres), in the Archaon book he takes the Slayer of Kings from Krakanrok's hand as he sleeps

Exactly what I needed right now
Me when they were talking about COD.

3:28:37 Tom, by trash, you mean Farscape is the (my) #1 Sci-Fi of all time, obviously...!
Cover up the baby-carrier marine body, leave his head free, and it becomes an amazing mech
Yoda was a Jedi master by the age of 100. Either something happened to baby yoda to make him age slowly, or the writers are ret conning things once again.
Forget that now that did not happen! Wipe it from your mind!
He became a jedi at the ripe young age of 100 Utapau years, which translates to somewhere between 5 years and 72 000 years in galactic standard.
3 option a good chunk of the writing for starwars is lazy
"Who in the Yogscast would make a good legendary lord in Warhammer"
Obviously it would be Brewis the slave driver
oh god the beans! THE BEANS!
Honestly when they started talking about cool aliens I just thought of all the aliens from Animorphs. All pretty cool
The Emperor is normal human size and indeed uses psyker power to make him look imposing, when corvus corax first met big E he was able to shortly resist the image projected into his mind and saw a very average man.
that moment when you actually recognise the Lorehammer Ben talked about
THE SIEGE WAS ANIMATED
Amos really does end up the best character, it just takes like several seasons for his backstory to come forward. He's even better in the books.
Honestly love the new baby carrier from the Sisters. Give a good converter some time with that, you two would fuckin adore it.
We have seen halfbreeds in Star Wars a couple of times 3 in the clone wars one in the rebels show
It doesn't explain anything though, and it looks a bit weird, at least the kid at the end of rebels
The Stellar Giants chapter wears Titans as power armour
I wish the Yogscast would play Town of Salem like it's probably an old game at this point and I doubt they'd be interested but I think it be fun if they just host a private match and there some much custom roles and things they've added in be great
'You Swore to me Zarha! Until the End!'

the smaller they toy, the happier the boy
i always thought double turns could be mitigated by the 2nd turn taker getting a 1 unit activation first, might be an easy house rule to try

WE IZ GOBBOS!!! Anywun got moar lube? Da pilez gettin chafey!
I like a lot of the aliens from Farscape.
Brilliant boys!
Did you say dual wielding lascannons when talking about Centurions? Guess im playing Space Marines now.
Its a shame Tom and Ben didnt get to using great stag riders in the wood elf game, those bois are very killy
"Say Hallo, if you are German"
Hallo!
How many armies did they chew threw this episode?
I remember hearing somewhere that train driving is a well paying job, but that mostly because of the mental health aspect a lot of them go through when people kill themselves via train
Did... Did the wood elves just burn down the oak of ages.
oh my god i cant wait for the new call of cthulhu
you guys nailed the cali accent lmao
What mods do Tom And Ben use
The sequel trilogy and the Mandalorian (and Rebels) exist in different timelines so Kylo Ren doesn't do the thing Ben said
I don't know about the tube, but I know actual train drivers go through *alot* of training etc very complicated
I think most of the tube is robochoochoo too, just needs a driver in case shit hits the fan
The year is 2089. I am an old man, dying in a hospital bed. I hold my grandchildren close and whisper, "I... actually like the Nemesis Dreadknight..."
My youngest grandson, a boy of 3, pulls my life support without a word.
Shouldn't there have been about eight wars or so here on Terra in 40K Lore?
Or at least one.
Vagazzle the Fate Dealer
The good stuff
forbbiden clear acrylic rod

Im a schemer

And that's why don't elf wars
these two jokers not knowing about Palm Springs
I guess Ben is not a Dan Abnett fan.. :D
Yeah tom, germany is a pretty nice place, only problem is it's full of germans.
Bring the suspicious Hans back!
Who the fuck told Tom about the goose ritual?
come watch Tom and ben list all the stuff thay hate ( eveything )
Fun fact: only 10% of a movie has to be "true/factual" for a movie to be considered "based on a true story"
As Tom was saying you can put "based on a true story" on a 100% fictional movie. There are no rules or laws.
These streams just get longer and longer.
So I don’t play any miniwargaming, so I don’t understand why warhammer is a bad game. Can anyone explain what Tom and Ben mean when they say warhammer is just a bad game?

Some of those custom maps really are luvvely, but beware of janky installations because they've defs crashed my game more than once.
Someone or something triggered these two today lol
Hang on, ben complains about the heresy books all the time but he hasn't even read them, just the first three and their related books then siege of terra.

atleast the prequels had a coherent story and direction, they were still bad, but the sequels were just directionless garbage.
Ben 'really' tried to play Tom with this weeks lorehammer :p
I'm not gonna lie,
He told it wrong and tried to make it seem dumber than it was.
Disappointing bad takes on the Expanse in here. D:
cant believe how wrong you consistently are on godzilla 2014 smh. top 3 godzilla movie. the rest of the legendary movies are just plain bad
