Yes, it will work for Facetime when connected to an apple device.
I have terrible sound with this in phone camera, is there some way to fix this please?
Hi! Thanks for watching! I'm not saying your item is defective, but I get great sound when I use the iPhone version of this wireless mic. You could try returning it and getting a replacement. What is so bad about your sound?
does it fit with a phone case on thanks stuart
Hi! Thanks for watching. This mic was the USB-C version not the lightning version. However, I'm pretty sure the lightning version would connect with a case. As long as its not one of those huge Otter cases. :)
Do you know what the USB port on receiver do?
Hey! Thanks for watching! I believe that's to charge it. I'll have to look at the manual though.
Hi, I was using it with window on my laptop and suddenly the window says that driver is unavailable..can anyone share the driver for boya v20.. thanks
Hi! Thanks for watching! I'm not 100% sure about the driver. Sorry. I recommend reaching out to Boya support. Have you tried that?
How will you know it fully charge?
Hi! I believe the static blue light indicates a full charge. I'll have to revisit the user guide though.
Does it come in a pair
Yes, you can buy it in a pair.
How do you record on the laptop with the mic...?
I use Garagaband. It's a DAW for Macs. That lets you record audio on your computer. If you are using a PC, try Audacity www.audacityteam.org/ Thanks for watching!
where the audio se recroded? how to find that audio file?
Hi! I recored the audio on my DAW. In this example I was using Garageband on my Macbook Pro.
Can we connect it with HP laptop?
Hi! Thanks for watching. I've never used it with a HP laptop, but I assume it has a USB-C port. If so, then this mic will work with it.
Can I charge the mic with Xiomi 20000mah power bank??
If it has a USB-C port, you should be able to charge it. Thanks for watching!
does it speaker supported also?
Hi! Thanks for watching. What do you mean exactly?
Did you ever try the 2 mic setup? Im having interference when im using both at the same time..
Hey! I actually have not tried to dual mic setup yet. Are there any "environmental" factors that may be causing the interference?
How do you charge the receiver?
Hi! Thanks for watching and great question. It's the same as the mic. There is a USB-C port in the side of it. You can plug the charging cable in it and charge the receiver that way.
Can i connect my gopro?
If you're go pro has a USB-C port for audio then it should work. :)
But u can’t monitor the audio thru headphone while recording?
Hey! Thanks for watching! Yes, you can monitor through the device you're plugged into.
@@blogwithben By bluetooth headphone? Because the Boya would take up my lightning connection.
I just bought the lightning version and I wasn't able to monitor my audio unfortunately.
Does the transmitter need to be charged?
Thanks for watching! If I recall, yes it does. You plug it into the computer to charge. It's been a while though. I'll need to revisit the user manual and double check.
@@blogwithbenis the blue or red light supposed to be on when the transmitter is being charged? Cuz i received mine but its not giving any light when im charging it..
@@FeimLivesame mine is also not showing light when i charge it… is your unit working fine or u get it replaced?
Does it work on android with an iphone to type c converter ?
I'm not 100% sure what you mean. What is an iphone to type c converter? A lightning to usb-c adapter?
Does it work on Insta360 X3?
Hi! Thanks for watching! I've never used that, but if it has a USB-C port, then it should work just fine with this mic.
Is this compatible with samsung a54 4g?
Hey! Thanks for watching! If the Samsung a54 4g uses a USB-C port, then yes it will work. :)
Plss answer me bro, the receiver need to be recharge?
Yes there is a spot to recharge the receiver
Yes, you can charge the receiver. There is a port to charge it with a USB C cable.
BUT IS IT BETTER QUALITY THAN BOYALINK?
Hey! Thanks for watching! I've never used the BOYALINK, but from what I can tell the BOYALINK is a "higher-grade" product that these wireless mics. These are probably entry-level mics compared to the BOYALINK which seem to be more professional grade. However, I still got some great sound quality from the wireless mic in this video.
My transmitter is not lighting up even after I connect it my phone
Thanks for watching! Have you tried rebooting everything? Also, have you charged the unit overnight just to be sure everything is completely charged? Try that and see if that helps. If not, I would reach out to BOYA support. You can contact them here:

I bought a new mic and it is not charging. There is no stable red light. It goes from red to blue until all lights disappear. I tried different cables and charge sources. I will have to return it.
I had Boya mic V20 replaced three times with a new one, and none of them is charging. I don't recommend this product.
Sorry you had a bad experience. That isn't typical. :(
mic doesn’t work during google meet pls help :(
Hi! Thanks for watching! Do you have it plugged into your computer and the audio settings are set to the mic? And it still doesn't work? Does it work in other applications?
My boya is not turning na green color for setting
Hi! Thanks for watching! What are you using it with?
is there a way to use this mic on my a7 iii ?
Hey! Thanks for watching! I'm honestly not sure. You could try using an adapter to connect the receiver to the camera. www.ebay.com/itm/145597387479
Can I use it with mu phone camera if i take video?
Does the mic work on that?
Hi! Thanks for watching! If you're phone uses a USB-C port then yes. However, if you have an older Apple phone, then you'll need to get the lightning version of this mic. :)
Hi where you get 30$. I got 65$ bro😢thanks for sharing!
Hey! Thanks for watching! You can get them pretty cheap through AliExpress bit.ly/3Lbzmku
