John mcguinness, legend bumped into him a few times, met him at the classic TT last year, I'd told him I'd ordered his book and he said I've got it here in the motor home he said just hang fire, I'll nip and get it for you, what can you say when a legend and hero of mine says that.. I couldn't believe it, I was stuck for words, he's mint I'd buy him a pint he definitely deserves one, living legend always has time for the fans, couldn't thank him enough... Thank you John... Stay safe... 👍👍👍🏍️🏍️
John's gotta be celebrated for his amazing achievements over the years. He has consistently won over adversity, injury and let's face it, Age. He is a friendly bloke who always gives time to his fans. Top fella. Hope he's able to win a few more. GOOD LUCK!!!
You've gotta like John McGuinness. Very down to earth and gives an honest opinion. Going to the Isle Of Man TT changed my perspective a lot. Thousands of bikers who all pretty much got on with eachother. Barely a bike lock or cross word to be seen. Hugely dangerous event but it brings out the best in people.. curiously..
Nik Wilson there always seems to be a brotherhood among men in dangerous situations. ive seen it in the military, ive seen it among bikers. its a rare but amazing thing.
funny you say that i seen a right tear up with two cockneys and a jock last yr at my camp site funny as hell it was knocking 7 shades out of each other 😂
mej He is so right, all of these ROAD RACERS are different from any motorcycle racers on this planet. Not to put down the Hollywood style racing (smooth run offs,no pot holes ect) but these Men are the real thing..
How can you not love McPint, he is a great rider and a humble MAN. These racers are made of different gravy, even the GP riders aren't made of this thick sauce..Good luck McPint do what your heart tells you, we love you in Canada and want to see you around for a long time..RIP William Dunlop
John's fans don't need him to win another TT. If John wants to win again... great or just ride the TT fine too. A win will require him to get fit and over injury. There is no doubt he still has the skills, courage, and knowledge to win again. I fear really trying to win without the fitness would be disastrous.
@@bradford_shaun_murray Yea, ain't that something. Watch any of the racers in slo-mo cornering in any race, when approaching the corner they'll be on the front brake so hard the rear wheel will actually be off the ground, then in the corner you'll see the bikes just starting to break traction to where they're flirting with sliding like a dirt track racer. It's incredible the control they have over the bike and how they're just on the edge of losing control of it, absolutely incredible.
@@dukecraig2402 exactly the art of the physics. Gday from Sydney, Australia. We love you down here John as I am sure you know. On a personal note, you have inspired me to get back on two wheels again & of course it had to be a Honda. Looking for a nice VTR-1000 Firestorm and if the budget stretches, maybe a SP1. Good luck with everything in 2019. Hope to meet you one day at the TT. Cheers
Got that right! Michael is going at such a pace that he may total 30 wins in a few more years, but nobody will likely ever touch Joey for being not only a great racer but a truly great man as well. Not taking anything away from John, he's right up there when it comes to the greatest ever on the mountain.
Triumphrider I agree but he may not make it, so sad William died not long after this and I felt MD would be first to go... not because he is a poor rider I believe its the opposite man, he man handles these machines with 110% and more. Good luck to all of these great great MEN
John i don't know how you can say you have let anybody down no way Sir . Fucking hell just look back and see you are a Legend .Please don't retire yet you have so much more to give.
I heard this when i was in school.it is better to have lived life on the edge then to be one of those poor grey soul's who never experienced life on the edge.
I would agree with this but Im in my 50's and played every sport lacrosse, hockey, football(not soccer) and I was hit by a mini van while on my motorcycle, I am paying for it now, all my bruises muscle tears are eating me up BUT my brother same age has no pain he has never done a physical thing to cause pain he looks like shit but walks without any limp...I don't know how these men race crash and get back on I do know they will be in a ton of pain when they get older and lets thank them for entertaining us all with their lives...
Kevin Johnson i live with pain every day to in the winter months here in Montana when i climb out of bed to go make a living i get a great big reminder of the damage done. You play hard you pay HARD. I wouldn't trade my racing and the thrill's and spills for anything......
Its a rivalry they dont like each other. Dunlop accused Hutchy of cheating a few years back and it didnt go well. They are both great riders but Hickman and Harrison are faster in my opinion

Best thing ive done in my life.

McGuiness talks, I listen. My favourite TT warrior, followed by Michael. Michael will have the most wins soon.

When in years I will tell my kids about the good old time. YOU JOHN are a part of it.
Epic 👌👍 John McGuinness my hero one day I will meet this man 👌
John McGuinness......an absolute and total legend. I hope he puts Norton on the top spot in the future

Absolutely insane, hopefully one day I'll be able to make it over there and see the insanity up close.

I am so looking forward to the senior TT!!!
im just reading Michael Dunlop's book and there is some behind the scene facts about some teams and riders. Its not as spotless as they portrait it.
is the book out or its going to be ???
John McGuinness, the G.O.A.T!
Joey Dunlop was the greatest of all time

I don't remember which TT rider said it but he said something along the lines of " I don't ride the TT too die, I ride the TT too live"
When he says " let's see what's down the corner " , they do literally mean that.
after this years TT hope john packs in sliding front and rear to win its another level but hes a TT legend whatever !
this guys awesome
Hurry up john and get back on that bike, and ride it like you stole it,,pure legend.

Why do they always say "200 MPH?" They rarely if ever go 200 MPH
Because on some of the straightaways they sometimes hit 200 mph. That's why.
Because they go 200mph at some points! Fact. Live with it.
Want to see a real 200+, then you need to go to the NW200, that’s where it happens. Or the Ulster Grand Prix.
