This Art Deco-inspired home is all about the details! Each room has its own unique architectural elements, as well as colored window trim to match. The grand, two-storey family room is the heart of the home, while the hardworking kitchen stuns with integrated appliances, a free-standing pantry and more. See how Brian uses black to make design details pop against the neutral palette and why he chose a different look for the staircase.

Beautiful & elegant & comfortable. To those saying it's boring, it's not. The person who lives here can jazz it up & make it their own by adding colorful pillows & an area rug to match .. it's not that hard to make it your own but the essential things are all exquisitely detailed & gorgeous!!!!

This is gorgeous and classy. I just wish House & Home would also show how interior designer manage to overcome overcome some of the constraints of old flats, like apparent pipes, or apparent electricity wires etc.and within "normal" budget ..creativity is about overcoming constraints and work around it ...
I Love that it’s not to in your face and it has that seamless extravagance with its simplicity yet so grand design my Mom would love the color.
Another very beautiful house. He’s one of the only few designers great at creating traditional designs (the houses he designs are usually elegant and warm).
All I can say is WOW! Its been a while since I've seen such delicious, over the top, yet understated glamour. Everything is well thought out and ingenious. Love the use of finishes and textures and the modern interpretation of the Deco period❤️

Art deco is my favourite style in the way like, excample the lights they fit in lots of different interiorstyles. Like the mint green pandent where the stair is, founded a pink one (you find them easier in white, the colored ones are more rare to find) so you can imagine how happy i was when i found a pink one.

I could listen to Brian read the phone book! I’ve always loved the Art Deco period and wish it was used more often. The dining room is my favorite, I think. It’s so stately in that color scheme. The side chairs in the family room and living room are gorgeous! I’d like to find a vintage chair, or pair, like those in the living room and have them reupholstered. I think I’ve seen some on eBay. Gorgeous and well done!! 👏

OMG, I just came across this video while lounging around my home (with a glass of wine and some great cheese lol) AMAZING. BEAUTIFUL. SMART. CREATIVE. STUNNING; just a few of the adjectives that flooded my brain when watching the video. Brian did a great job of explaining the What and Why for every detail of this home... fantastic. This video has definitely opened my mind to design, decorating options I've never thought of until now. Thank you Thank you for sharing this wonderful showhome.
Wow that is some nice work. Phenomenal architectural design, detail, interior design...and phenomenal finishes. Definitely paid homage to the Classics of Greek and Roman architecture with a modern upgrade. Fluted wall panels, pediments, a Greek Key molding, a nod to Italian foyer, but minimalist accents on the wall art and on the foyer floor tile design. This was mind-blown work. I stopped vid at 2:48 and will have to come back to finish later.

A modern ‘library’ shrinks because we live in a digital era. So a modern library usually contains only selected books and usually just for decorating a room..
A library is what you make it to be.....Who says it has to be this large entity of books,shelves etc...

So much beauty here....but when you walk into the foyer there is not even a table to set a purse, keys etc. Why? I LOVE the wide staircase....very unusual and elegant. Love the black windows and doors!! The details on the island, oh my!! I would add some large, lush green plants!!
