you right i usually brake boards how hard i throwing shuriken force is part of the training if have form speed and force the throw will fall short if don't make to target thumb up
Very good video, i like the way to simply teach what is effective to save your life without forgetting the foundations of ninjutsu. I mean the point is to hurt the target, not only show perfection in the form of the technique. By the way excuseme by my ignorance, i really don´t know if the nunchuks were ninja´s weapons, i think they are more chinese weapons, but i would love to see soke Anshu teaching about nunchuks or nunchaku.

Great Video Sensei! You are so right, so many practice the "proper form" and not realize that the skill that's needed is to be able to create pain. When you throw at a human body, even if you throw at their face, you may hit bone and it will fly off... so "sticking the target" is not that important. What is important is throwing hard! Hard Enough To Create Pain! Great Lesson Sensei! Thank you for sharing!
I see that theme from Tenchu you threw in at the end. It is from Tenchu: Stealth Assassins. I believe, it plays during mission select. Moving on.....
I remember a video you did quite a while ago in which you stated that a reason for putting a spin on the shuriken is in the case it does not stick, it would still do the damage, but also bounce off into the distance somewhere. This prevents the enemy from simply taking it out of their clothing or skin and throwing it back at you. I am glad that you made it clear that the shuriken in which killing is not its purpose. Distraction is the goal. I have noticed by many other organizations focus on trying to do as much damage as possible with it. If your goal is to get away, then why sit there with the shuriken and simply lobbing it at the enemy? Throw it, distract, move on. Shinobi have plenty of other tools for killing.
God i wish i could throw shuriken like that. Seriously, its more difficult then it looks😂
