BDO is a difference you have literally different skills to level up! 😂 also Warframe still has better traction. Maybe because of a dedicated fanbase or maybe because they didn’t create a loop in the first 3 months.
Totally agree with you panda, the entire gaming community (at least on TH-cam) is in a rush to finish all the content of the games (any game) on a week.
@@varsinzo4844 Indeed. Just think about it. There is all around people saying 'do this', 'do that', 'the more efficient way to do...', 'one shot and clear all the content fast'. No joke. Everyone is falling in copying, fearing to explore, make mistakes, learn by themselves, use their own brain. This is a real illness. Then cry because in a fuck1ng week.the don't know what to do. What would the game seems if we shut down TH-cam for a while? I don't think the game lacks of anything really. The problem is a large mass of 'no brain' people wanting everything fast and easy, not doing anything by themselves. Soon game has nothing else to offer. Media is harming games deeply
The problem with the game is that it's a korean grind fest game, so when you're playing nothing targeted in the farm, you have to go through multiple layers of rng. I've been farming for shot focus for 2 weeks. It's the last mod im missing, and i can't just target farm it cause you gotta combine to get it. The end game lack luster cause what are you doing the farming for u dont get no special titles no ranks theres no pvp so it feels generally lacking in terms of end game content, which is important for live service games its what keeps them alive.
Look at the time investment needed to fully max out a single descendant/weapon. Between all the catalysts you need, 2 energy activators, a descent component set, ultimate reactor w/ the correct weapon mounting and sub stats, plus the time it takes to farm/craft all those mats, blueprints, and parts. Doing the math on that alone is enough to scare the player base away 😂
i comment here because i see you actually read them based on other commments. good job As a player who has 1.2k hours into the game, I totally agree with you about the end game. The only thing that can be considered as end game is gluttony. I've cleared 1k+ Gluttony solo public queue across 9 different descendant and it gets boring day by day. The only things that makes me fight more tony is just like what you said, which is using different descendant/weapon to kill colossus. There are no actual end game activity in game currently. Even the invasions originally that supposed to be speedrun for end game players are not repeatable. Devs did said they gonna add end game content on S2. Looking at the content added so far + upcoming content, theres not much to do.
I’m cooking up materials and ultimates, and leaving to play something else in the meantime. New games, paid and F2P, are coming out simultaneously and updates to older games are also happening. It all goes up and down and people jump on and off. It is F2P after all.
Monetization, farming rates, not enough content, I am a new player and still getting all the farming out of the way but it looks like farming is the game.
@JediObiDave that's litterally every looter shooter or mmo lol Fetch or kill quest, farm for gear and do boss fights, dungeons or raids. All that changes is the name of the game and the art style lol
@xmatthyx1 totally, most of the descendant and weapons are pretty straight forward to farm for , newer released content is always going to be a bit more challenging or time consuming to unlock than base stuff because dev teams don't want players to breeze through content and unlock everything on day 1. If that was the case then what would ppl do? Complain there's no content lol
There is no endgame currently... or midgame.. you finish the campaign and then its basically farm catalysts and get stronger... so i am sure a lot of people feel a little lost after beating normal mode because everything will kick your ass and then the quests will send you out to do invasions which will also kick your ass.. there needs to be more stuff to do in hard mode, more activities... i wish that the iron heart particle collection system could be used in some kind of shop instead of some weird seasonal buffs.. and maybe give ua some weapons to farm in hard mode from missions like the normal mode has the thunder cage, last dagger, fallen hope, but hard mode missions have nothing like that.. then theres also drop rates, lack of free customization and the prices in the ingame shop are crazy..new ultimate gley bundle is like 100 euros...
I have Been playing a month behind everyone as joined late. But I have everything all ready I'm just trying to get my wepons 4 out of 4. But the last couple of days I have never had a worse drop rate. I'm after a part for enduring legacy and it just won't drop. I have never had this problem before so I can see if it's happening to people on different items I can see a problem
Honestly drop the prices for skins I shouldn’t pay 50 dollars for an ultimate skin with slightly increased stats 😭 2,000 should be 19 n 3k should be 30 dollars or something. Also increase the drop rate a lil bit i love the mystery of wondering if ima get it or not but it’s ridiculous that you run 4 hours to 8 hours of bosses n outposts n can’t get either the amorphous material or the things to craft your descendant , i love the grind but damn It took me 4 days to farm ultimate gley then had to wait an additional two days just to use her Lastly there should be a trade or exchange system where you can purchase modules for coins and use your shards for l cosmetics etc like what they do with dragon ball xenoverse 2 with the tp medal shop where it opens Friday to Monday and you get exclusive items that are not available. Honorable mention nerf bunny or let players have restrictions to missions to not have a certain descendant allowed for that mission
I actually quit this game after completing the story because I got bored I was very unmotivated to come back and I finally did, and guess what I love this game just as much as before.
I don't mind grinding and farming in games but the way this game does it is just insanely boring. Outpost farming is just mind numbingly boring. I spend hours doing a 15 second fight to then wait 45 seconds to do the fight again in order to get something that has a 25% drop rate that drops at less then 5% only to go spend the the materials on another 10% drop rate that drops at 5%...it gets old really really fast
@@DelbertStinkfester exactly, it's a looter shooter you farm to get stronger, get stronger to farm. and i really enjoy this concept, specially if the gameplay is on point. but as you mentioned the current farm loop is boring. and the process of building and catalyzing characters/weapons is a chore, from the rarety of the materials to the leveling, this all have to be improved.
I'll start by reminding everyone that the devs have said this is the first time they made a game like this, and they are still learning. IDK because this is the only Nexon game I have ever played, but these other games have 7 and 10 years' worth of updates and new content. We've had a pre-season and now season one, that's it. The devs are still working on the initial content making sure things work and trying to appease all the crybabies. Take what we have now and just imagine what it will be in 5 years or 10. Yeah, the numbers are going down but when new content hits I bet you that those player counts will rise again.
Yeah we all understand the learning phase and we also understand the patience and attention span of gamers in 2024. Waiting for things is starting to slowly be impossible. Making creating games harder and harder for devs
@@AKingsCreation I was fairly far into learning game dev myself but after seeing the backlash and crying over this game, I'm not so sure I want to get into game development. Maybe I'll just write a book instead.
Love this game! Can be a bit repetitive and feel a little stale at points outpost/reactor farming can be boring, and also recently operations are starting to feel boring but still playing it every day. I feel it needs more incentive as in different ways to unlock items or a colossi has cosmetic armor pieces as a reward and maybe make the public world feel a little more alive but all in all I’m still excited for what the game has to bring!
I'm MR 26 and still playing daily. I understand the grind is painful, but I enjoy it. At the moment I'm just enhancing every weapon to 4 star and beating gluttony + dailies. It's probably my fault for playing so much but I'm not here complaining about new content, this is coming. Guess I just enjoy the game.
Ive dumped 500+ hours only Mastery Rank 22, still need a few Decedent's but i just cant be bothered! Its wearing off man!! Need more engaging storyline build up ... i mean the seasonal character mission sounds cool but i imagine when it drops itll be done in a day. As for invasions, pritty stupid of them to launch it in SOLO only, i know they fixed it, but that move crushed it. Hard to bounce back now.
It’s a working progress. I think now many aren’t waiting around for what’s next. If people don’t like something nowadays they just bounce to something else….almost like scrolling on Tiktok
@AKingsCreation ... I mean I like the game! Once I like something I stick w it, I put 14,000 hrs in Destiny 2!! I just think 1st Descendent NEEDS more engaging storyline ... and a few other things and I'd play it more for sure. Should have just went at it slow, but I went in SUPER hard in the beginning lol
Most of the problem is the drop rates and getting multiples of loot that can't be sold or traded. I mean really, what is somebody gonna do with like 20 of the same character blueprint? Turns the game into a waste of time.
Grind is real kingz it's one of the put offs for players , one of my put offs at moment is logging in , it's a real pain after that latest update , go into event log in to Nexon , then Vertify code sent to Email on your phone , just to be told that the code will last 30 minutes , then put code in , then to be told have another try in 30 minutes , finally I get into game without logging in to Freya Event but this was 2 hours later after eventually been told I had tried to login too many times to event 😊🤔🙄🙄 this all after doing everything right , game has definitely concerns 😔
@@AKingsCreation i dont know if you ever played warframe, I played TFD alot before i ever tried warframe. ive still not caught up to how much time i spent on TFD yet, its something like TFD for 700 hours / WF for 300 so i have more experience with TFD than i do with WF, and honest to god WF is a breath of fresh air compared to TFD, You have an orbiter, its basically your own personal albion, its got every service albion does but in a more compact area, and it is a space ship, and you can build new orbiters. But you can also build a warship called a railjack and participate in actual space battles complete with boarding parties and all sorts of shennanigans. Plus the prices my god the prices, warframe has a player to player market website, and its like 40-80 platinum for prime warframes, and you can buy the prime guns you dont want to farm for too which is nice and cheap too, were talking like 20-100 Plat depending on the item. 3x forma (catalysts) are 35 plat, an orokin reactor (energy activator" is 20 plat. 20 fuckin plat. thats like £2 or something, for an energy activator. which TFD prices at like £36 like lulwutt TFD has like what 4 open areas, moderate sized, WF has 3 huge massive open areas with towns attached to them. TFD has 18 "infiltration missions" WF has equivalent to 263. Theres just no need to go back to TFD, theres actually a game over at Warframe.
This game is the best it’s only just come out and the devs are new to our ways in the west and from What I’ve heard from the devs this games gonna be big destiny 2 I didn’t give no more than 5 hours game play warframe uninstalled it after 2 hours but the first descendant I can’t stop playing and I’m a 90s gamer
There is so much to grind for but very little reward for doing that grind once you have completed it. I have some maxed out guns and Descendants, so what now? I just keep playing the same thing I've been playing for the past 100 hrs for no reason/reward now that I have what I want? In Destiny you would grind seasonal content to take that stuff into Dungeons/Legend Lost Sectors, then you would grind that stuff to take into GMs, Raids, Trials. There is no reason for this grind and it is a brutally long one that is designed to frustrate you into buying everything they monetize in this game. I grinded for Hailey and quit playing because I thought, I COULD level her up, but in reality, what am I going to use her for? A couple boss battles for stuff I don't even want?
Somethings wrong with the 20percent drop rates... 40 outpost runs 2 pattern drops?? During that time I got 5 stabilizers rng I guess, but it happens way too often😅
You have to pay for colors over and over, you have to farm for years👀, catalyst take way to long and let’s not mention the activators😩. How about needing to add 10+ catalyst depending on your builds(not including your weapons). It’s just not rewarding enough and way overpriced
Im not going to lie, The First Descendant numbers are on a steady decline, and thats not good. I love the First Descendant, its my personal GOTY and I haven't stopped playing since day one, I know the game is not perfect and theres plenty of things to improve, but the devs are listening, the game is on its early stages, its not even out for more than maybe 3 months, Im hyped AF for Ultimate Freyna, the new store and the 400% infiltration Operations. The game is fun, it has great characters, but again its a new game and Im not sure if its 100% the devs fault or the players that are in a rush to finish all the content in a week. Im definitely going to keep playing but I wish we could get more stuff to grind in the future maybe camos or gun skins, we definitely need something else, and also I want a photo mode.
Sure I agree but also…remember 10 million people were playing this game. I highly doubt 9+ million of them are currently playing from consoles.. and if that isn’t true. I stand to say the popularity and population is falling off week by week if something doesn’t excite the community
@@AKingsCreation Every gatcha game has some sort of loop. That's why you need a diverse amount of content to make people stay. And being how new this game still is I'm not surprised the numbers dropped. It needs more time to bring in more content. Just look how long Warframe has been around. In the beginning they also had big player drops. But now with all the content it takes ALOT longer to lose new players because there is just so much to do.
You need to stop, making videos about something thats not an issue. No body talks about it cause its not a damn issue. You the ones that wants to make it an issie is that you need LIKE HITS AND SUB. SO YOU NEED TO MAKE CONTROVERSIAL SHT. THIS GAME IS LIKE Warframe and look were he stands. Stop complaining. Its not a everyday game. Even destiny ks like that.
Why you comparing this game to games that are more successful. The reason why nobody is talking about it is because nobody wants to talk about it. Just because I do doesn’t mean I’m wrong for doing so. If the population of a game I enjoy is falling off.. ima talk about it. Which IS A ISSUE!! 10 million people played the game now only thousands… That’s a Issue! There are many players who play Destiny, Warframe, and Division daily??? Why you ask? Because they have PVP! Which make them all daily games
what do you expect from a game whos selling point is horny characters? I mean we guys have our limits as well lol, and where is the gameplay in tfd? I gave it enough tries it just doesnt click only attraction being the hot chars and skins is all that game has whether you agree or not and Im sure most players feeling that too!
Nah I only see PC players complain about this game. Console players are funny with their complaints. Either way, the game does need more content. I'm on everyday and just started using Yujin, he's hella fun in any party/game mode. Gamers just need to chill out and enjoy the game how they want and stop looking at TH-cam videos on how to play and be the best. That's just whack!
That’s understandable and it’s hard for us content creators too. To make guides for players who need the help. Most people either complain something is rightly use or complain something is wrongly used….either way everyone complains no matter what. I have gamed for a very long time and I can promise one thing the gaming culture never use to be this way. People more so complained at each other based on “skill” instead of “content Boredom”….idk bro at this point I just like making content and if people tune in. I’m happy to have a long journey with them. If they don’t that’s okay too. There is no win-win on the internet as a creator and/or Dev in 2024 imo
@@AKingsCreation Yeah no I appreciate you content creators because without y'all, I wouldn't know where or how to begin in TFD! The game is very overwhelming in the beginning for new players for sure!
That’s not only pc players. There are players who have a pc and console. Like me for example who speed through games no matter what platform I play on. There are hardcore, casual, and 1 hr a day players. Platforms don’t matter imo. The charts are based on pc players yes…but also the game is not as popular as it was 2 months ago. You can look up any platform chart and see that…something needs to change or it’s another sinking ship.

Media is harming games deeply
love seeing actually sane people give takes
The problem with the game is that it's a korean grind fest game, so when you're playing nothing targeted in the farm, you have to go through multiple layers of rng. I've been farming for shot focus for 2 weeks. It's the last mod im missing, and i can't just target farm it cause you gotta combine to get it. The end game lack luster cause what are you doing the farming for u dont get no special titles no ranks theres no pvp so it feels generally lacking in terms of end game content, which is important for live service games its what keeps them alive.
Great point. 👍🏾
Wait til you have farmed a mission 50 to 100 times and still didn't get the material you needed.
lol I think that happens to most players. That’s the problem
😂😂😂 good point.
i comment here because i see you actually read them based on other commments. good job
As a player who has 1.2k hours into the game, I totally agree with you about the end game.
Exactly….but some people will see the game how we see it and others won’t.. I got to deal with comments on both sides of the coin 👍🏾
I’m cooking up materials and ultimates, and leaving to play something else in the meantime. New games, paid and F2P, are coming out simultaneously and updates to older games are also happening. It all goes up and down and people jump on and off. It is F2P after all.
Yup F2P games should pop off a lot more because they are free examples… Apex and Fortnite. F2P that became staples in their genre
Monetization, farming rates, not enough content, I am a new player and still getting all the farming out of the way but it looks like farming is the game.
Yup rinse and repeat
@JediObiDave that's litterally every looter shooter or mmo lol
Fetch or kill quest, farm for gear and do boss fights, dungeons or raids. All that changes is the name of the game and the art style lol
It really isn't as bad except for a few select descendants/ weapons
Good point.
RNG can be your worst enemy sometimes. It happens to the best of us.
Honestly drop the prices for skins I shouldn’t pay 50 dollars for an ultimate skin with slightly increased stats 😭 2,000 should be 19 n 3k should be 30 dollars or something.
Also increase the drop rate a lil bit i love the mystery of wondering if ima get it or not but it’s ridiculous that you run 4 hours to 8 hours of bosses n outposts n can’t get either the amorphous material or the things to craft your descendant , i love the grind but damn It took me 4 days to farm ultimate gley then had to wait an additional two days just to use her
Lastly there should be a trade or exchange system where you can purchase modules for coins and use your shards for l cosmetics etc like what they do with dragon ball xenoverse 2 with the tp medal shop where it opens Friday to Monday and you get exclusive items that are not available.
Honorable mention nerf bunny or let players have restrictions to missions to not have a certain descendant allowed for that mission
I think for their first ever console game being where they are is HUGE!
Yeah for sure. But we want it to last.
I actually quit this game after completing the story because I got bored I was very unmotivated to come back and I finally did, and guess what I love this game just as much as before.
lol idk if that’s a good thing or a bad thing?
Exactly
Exactly! I agree. Let’s see what they do next. I’m sure they will look at this vid.
That’s a great thing to hear. I honestly don’t play any other game right now. It’s probably why I care so much.
People are just too lazy to grind games like they used to, I can understand if you have other commitments, but honestly, a lot are just lazy
What makes boredom and laziness the same thing?
It's not laziness. It's not spending hrs a day grinding for little gains.
The gameplay is very fun, but problem for me is game isn’t respecting my time. Huge grind in meaningless tasks for the materials I need.
Understandable
Well they are fixing that. We have a vendor on the way this month
because poeple jump ship once stuff takes a wile to complete. Still doing better than concord (sorry went for the easy one xD)
😂 all good
They need to add some way to trade or sell items for Caliber.. or anything really.. My inventory just keeps piling up with items I can't use..
They plan to add a vendor that we can sell our stuff to.
Dang I never heard of anyone having those issues? I hope everything is good with you now?
It’s alright. Solid foundation, could be better and has a chance to be. War frame and destiny 2 released basically the same way, barebones.
Oh absolutely it does! I never doubted it’s potential. I’m saying as of right now the way things are going… we need that “could be better moment” now
I played this till day one season one then i migrated to warframe and never went back. Its as wide and as shallow as a puddle.
Fair enough but they could change since they do listen to feedback pretty well
@@AKingsCreation nah WF is much better. ive just unlocked and built my own space ship lol. TFD will never come close.
😂😂 fair enough
@@AKingsCreation i dont know if you ever played warframe, I played TFD alot before i ever tried warframe.
ive still not caught up to how much time i spent on TFD yet, its something like TFD for 700 hours / WF for 300
so i have more experience with TFD than i do with WF, and honest to god WF is a breath of fresh air compared to TFD,
You have an orbiter, its basically your own personal albion, its got every service albion does but in a more compact area,
and it is a space ship, and you can build new orbiters.
20 fuckin plat. thats like £2 or something, for an energy activator. which TFD prices at like £36 like lulwutt
TFD has like what 4 open areas, moderate sized,
WF has 3 huge massive open areas with towns attached to them.
TFD has 18 "infiltration missions"
WF has equivalent to 263.
Theres just no need to go back to TFD, theres actually a game over at Warframe.
This game is the best it’s only just come out and the devs are new to our ways in the west and from
What I’ve heard from the devs this games gonna be big destiny 2 I didn’t give no more than 5 hours game play warframe uninstalled it after 2 hours but the first descendant I can’t stop playing and I’m a 90s gamer
Glad you feel that way! Other gamers think the opposite. This game is a mimic of those great games.
My point exactly.
Somethings wrong with the 20percent drop rates... 40 outpost runs 2 pattern drops?? During that time I got 5 stabilizers rng I guess, but it happens way too often😅
lol that darn RNG
Source: Trust me, bro.
??
Leave it to nexon to cripple a game with terrible loot %
I wouldn’t say that’s the reason that is crippling the game. But many would agree with you based on other comments
I’m sorry but their main problem is not releasing a lot of content
I waited months for content , just to devour through it in 1 day, I know I play too much , but I was expecting the game to entertain me for a week
Did you play the newest content and ultimate freyna? Also new vendor and grabbing the vouchers?
500 hours of playtime here and im done , when new content comes out , maybe , i will come back , maybe..
Facts!
You have to pay for colors over and over, you have to farm for years👀, catalyst take way to long and let’s not mention the activators😩. How about needing to add 10+ catalyst depending on your builds(not including your weapons). It’s just not rewarding enough and way overpriced
Fair enough
We gotta have photo mode for sure! I like taking in-game photos for sure!
I count steam as the minority on stuff like this and don’t take notice. Xbox is a low selling console and will probably have more than steam.
Sure I agree but also…remember 10 million people were playing this game. I highly doubt 9+ million of them are currently playing from consoles.. and if that isn’t true. I stand to say the popularity and population is falling off week by week if something doesn’t excite the community
Got everything already weapons lvl4 all characters etc... theres just nothing to do not enough actual content released
I think it’s loop content. That makes it feel like there is no content
It's all about content. IE lack there of
Loop content is what I believe makes people bored a lot faster
@@AKingsCreation Every gatcha game has some sort of loop. That's why you need a diverse amount of content to make people stay. And being how new this game still is I'm not surprised the numbers dropped. It needs more time to bring in more content. Just look how long Warframe has been around. In the beginning they also had big player drops. But now with all the content it takes ALOT longer to lose new players because there is just so much to do.
GG
Welp I guess they need at least one content creator on YT to post negativity on TFD every community has at least one GJ
I don’t consider this negativity. I believe it’s just talking about the problem and raising attention to it. To get it fixed.
@@AKingsCreation well said. Sorry for the misunderstanding
I have all current ultimate characters and I got some guns but if anything destiny 2 is still way better
I like the lore for sure and PvP in Destiny 2
what do you expect from a game whos selling point is horny characters? I mean we guys have our limits as well lol, and where is the gameplay in tfd? I gave it enough tries it just doesnt click only attraction being the hot chars and skins is all that game has whether you agree or not and Im sure most players feeling that too!
I don’t disagree at all. There needs to be something captivating in season 2! No doubt or this game is gonna be tough to keep covering
Add pvp so while we wait for more content we got something to play or lower price. The shop is very expensive
lol I wish. But they said PVP isn’t happening. So we just gonna farm the entire time
@AKingsCreation really love the game but needs more I know it's new but could do better they should have never split the season 1 update in 3
Nah I only see PC players complain about this game.
You do realize pc players speed through a game and if it doesn’t catch their itch on the first full play they never come back. Been like this forever
RED CRITS!! If this game had RED CRITS it would NEVER DIE. RED CRITS are like oxygen, orange crits are like a kick to my old balls. Please tell Nexon orange crits make us sad. They stole so much from Warframe, might as well steal their RED CRITS too.
Or add a color scheme you tried messing with the color blind section?
Warframe is just better
Statistics agree with you. Lol
@AKingsCreation I've been watching the deline even with this hotfix tfd had a very low player spike and warframe 1999 is gonna be fuckin dope!!
