I thought Vietnam would not win because there were only 13 players registered for the competition and there was not much physical strength when they won Thailand two days ago.The Vietnamese players also showed signs of serious physical decline and were constantly injured and there were only 2 substitutes, including 1 goalkeeper.But in the end, the goalkeeper had to act as a striker to replace the injured player. It was so touching in this match that the Vietnamese u23s were so resilient.

Really a hard-level match for Vietnam. Covid is terrible to sports. 3 matches with 3 almost total different squads. All 4 goal keepers had to show up even as a striker. Hats off to them for great efforts! Final game with Thailand will be totally another difficult match. I was so proud of my Vietnamese young boys for their extraordinary spirit. At the same time, I wanna give best wishes to the Timor Leste team, they really had a great improvement compared to the previous time and tried their best yesterday. It's so touching to see their players cry at the end of the match. Congratulation u23 vietnam football team. That's surprise for me when watch this match on TV. Before the match take place, I saw some negative information on social media and news that u23 vietnam only have three players, the rest of our team was positive with covid 19. Next to, there are 4 players are added and the most of them had to relocate by bus from vietnam to cambodia. They only have a few hours before this match begin but this result is very amazing. When I witnessed the replacement of a goal keeper and he was arranged to play in the striker position. It is so funny but we don't have anyway. I hope that u23 vietnam football team will play as well in the final match with thailand. I firmly think that the result will not be important, the best things that youth team have a great challenge, amazing trip for preparing of Seagame. I'm proud of guys...
13 Vietnamese players in total (2 goal keepers). 10 out of 13 was added recently 3 times and had to travel by bus to come to Cambodia just right before the match due to the fact that a large number of Vietnamese players who had got Covid-19. 10 out of 13 didn’t have a chance to practice with each other long before the match. This is truly a patchwork squad. One of the goal keeper had to play at striker position. There are only 2 players on substitution bench. Timore had around 25 people, so many choices of substitution compared to Vietnam (only 2 subs), but they couldn’t win. Timor is not a strong squad when being beaten by a patchwork squad
Vietnam still decided to keep fight because they know their 10 arrival players has good talent. So even it's "emergency" squad but they has almost same quality. I'm not surpise with their win, but i'm surprised about their journey through this competition.

With the entire main squad infected with covid19. have to compete with 10 new players added from Vietnam to Cambodia with a distance of 900km by car. Most foreign viewers don't know Vietnam team only has 13 players registered for this match due to Covid and 2 of them are goalkeepers. Also, half of the team are additional players who were called only 1 day before the match and had to move from Vietnam to Cambodia by a bus since no flights were available. They arrived only few hours before the match and didn't even have the time to rest. At the 100th miniute, the reserved goalkeeper had to come in and play as striker when 1 player got injured and couldn't continue playing.
As the first time that Thai people've known that Thailand is not ready for this tournament because they've just sent players avg age only 17-18 yrs old but other asean including Vietnam sending the avg age around 21-22 yrs old, most Thai people will not expect to get the champion like other countries

I thought Vietnam would not win because there were only 13 players registered for the competition and there was not much physical strength when they won Thailand two days ago.The Vietnamese players also showed signs of serious physical decline and were constantly injured and there were only 2 substitutes, including 1 goalkeeper.But in the end, the goalkeeper had to act as a striker to replace the injured player. It was so touching in this match that the Vietnamese u23s were so resilient.

Really a hard-level match for Vietnam. Covid is terrible to sports. 3 matches with 3 almost total different squads. All 4 goal keepers had to show up even as a striker. Hats off to them for great efforts! Final game with Thailand will be totally another difficult match. Before the match take place, I saw some negative information on social media and news that u23 vietnam only have three players, the rest of our team was positive with covid 19. Next to, there are 4 players are added and the most of them had to relocate by bus from vietnam to cambodia. They only have a few hours before this match begin but this result is very amazing. When I witnessed the replacement of a goal keeper and he was arranged to play in the striker position. It is so funny but we don't have anyway. I hope that u23 vietnam football team will play as well in the final match with thailand. I firmly think that the result will not be important, the best things that youth team have a great challenge, amazing trip for preparing of Seagame. I'm proud of guys...

13 Vietnamese players in total (2 goal keepers). 10 out of 13 was added recently 3 times and had to travel by bus to come to Cambodia just right before the match due to the fact that a large number of Vietnamese players who had got Covid-19.
10 out of 13 didn’t have a chance to practice with each other long before the match. This is truly a patchwork squad. One of the goal keeper had to play at striker position. There are only 2 players on substitution bench.
Timore had around 25 people, so many choices of substitution compared to Vietnam (only 2 subs), but they couldn’t win.
Timor is not a strong squad when being beaten by a patchwork squad
Vietnam still decided to keep fight because they know their 10 arrival players has good talent. So even it's "emergency" squad but they has almost same quality. I'm not surpise with their win, but i'm surprised about their journey through this competition.

Most foreign viewers don't know Vietnam team only has 13 players registered for this match due to Covid and 2 of them are goalkeepers. Also, half of the team are additional players who were called only 1 day before the match and had to move from Vietnam to Cambodia by a bus since no flights were available. They arrived only few hours before the match and didn't even have the time to rest. At the 100th miniute, the reserved goalkeeper had to come in and play as striker when 1 player got injured and couldn't continue playing.
