I find that they were a very unwise family...that is the way Corneilius's children raised their own kids. They themselves knew how hard working their father raised them & said to themselves " i won't be too harsh on them like dad was wt us"😢😔 Little did they know, that it was their upbringing that inculated strong values & work ethics in them by their father. By not doing so wt their own children, was the beginning of the end. Chinese proverb applies to their situation " the first generation makes it, they work hard, the second generation spends it & the third squanders it

As far as I know,they hadn't spoken in decades and while she left one piece of property for her first born son Stanislaus Stokowski and the vast majority of her fortune to her last born son Anderson Cooper,she left nothing for Christopher. Christopher was not by her death bed and according to Anderson,only reconciled with the rest of the family later.
