A lot of people say that ukraine is small, did they ever compare ukraine to other european country? it has the largest military in europe pre war.
This is true the Ukraine army was nearly double size of the original invasion force from Russia.
These airheads don’t realise the Ukrainian army was the second biggest after RU in Europe.

@@lauchlanguddy1004weren’t they shelling their own civilians from 2014?
@@jonathanjacob5453the Russians were shelling Ukrainian civilians since 2014. Particularly in 2014/2015 Ukrainian civilians were caught in the crossfire. After the implementation of the Minsk 2 agreement civilian casualties as a result of indirect fire reduced significantly. However there were still instances of rocket and artillery fire killing civilians. You can you tube it and you will see plenty of footage of Ukrainian civilians killed by Russian indirect fire. For example the Russian proxies fired grass into Avdiivka in 2018.

There was a military coup in 2014, shortly afterwords the people of donbas specifically the DPR and LPR went into rebellion wishing to become independent of a Ukraine. For similar reasons that America rebelled against Britain. a question of representation. The president they voted for being deposed in a violent coup. They specifically begged Russia to annex them but Russia refused at the time, instead they went forward with minsk one and minsk 2. Both of which later proved to be western tricks designed to arm and prepare Ukraine for war, this was later confirmed by all three of the signatories in public statements. Meanwhile during those 8 years ukraine introduced many frankly racist laws banning Russian language, music, books. Thousands of civilians were killed in the DPR and LPR by Ukrainian shelling. It would be over in two weeks if it wasn't an SMO. But of course you won't admit that.
The unconscious moral superiority of the west, despite overwhelming indication of the opposite will lead to its downfall. Before nemisis comes hubris. I have studied the situation since Putin’s 2007 Munich speech and I understand that projection by the west is their biggest issue, there is no strategic empathy. “Know not the enemy nor yourself and you will lose every battle, know the enemy and not yourself and you will lose half of your battles, know yourself and not the enemy and you will lose half your battles, know yourself and your enemy and you will win every battle” - Sun Tzu. The hubris of the west sees them not knowing themselves and the projection sees them not knowing their enemy. The outcome is certain

It's common sense for most people that meddling in other peoples' business is a bad idea. Main reason being, you almost certainly lack the full context of their issues to pick a side as well as their respective perspectives.
So to me, it only seems natural that anyone who takes the already garbage idea of meddling to the most extreme point of murder, is a total imbecile.
Sadly, the education here in the West, besides its outstanding quality in the STEM domain, is a total dumpsterfire when it comes to the humanities. Our culture of exceptionalism only makes this worse and in the end, we find ourselves as the prime exporters of dangerous narcisistic troglodytes like these...
And they do not see to want to go to Gaza to peotect against a military that has killed 20k civilians, far more the Ukraine has, much more then Russia has.

you lost me when you compared Russia and Chinese capabilities. no they are not even close, especially not in a long term war. China has more factories than anywhere else in the world. You wake them up and they can build so many weapons that the mind would boggle at the scale. And they have so many people that they could field armies of such immense size as to be a ludicrous joke.
It would not be a particular stretch for china to field 20 million soldiers (thats only 2 percent of there population. And since they have an over abundance of men it wont even have any particular long term effects.
I pray every day that our politicians will just stop trying to find a fight with China, if they do we need to win within the first year or we will just be crushed.
They’d be charging night and day. Western soldiers would need to sleep at some point 😂.
Apparently no one has any idea of the Korean War. They had mostly small arms no air, no tanks no artillery and drove nato out
They don’t have the raw materials to make anything and an aging population who couldn’t man the factories. Sanctions would destroy them. They wouldn’t be able to cross the sea too.
Missing the fact that China may have massive industry, but they rely on Australian and other foreign nations ore to run those factories. In the event of a world conflict all allies have to do is sanction and blockade China and wait. Let China make moves outside of their waters and most of their navy is not designed for deep water operations, yet alone losing home ground benefits.
China doesn't produce best grade equipment hence Russian troops complaining about Chinese equipment provided, and in terms of ground troops only India is a threat of facing full might of China, every other nation like Taiwan China cant field their whole army due to lacking transports for infantry/armour across water. China hasn't even been battle tested with their last genuine conflict being when they invaded Vietnam and got wiped.
@@justaruztyspoon668 ive said this many times before, in a war with china you have 1 year to win. If you have not won then your facing troops that are experienced an economy that is geared to war.
and for the record, yes china can operate its own factories. no they wont run out of raw materials. I really hate to break this to you but they are a massive country in there own right. They have access to Russian raw materials. as well as they have there own primary industries as well.
For some reason people look at the sheer volume of raw materials they use now (which requires input from around the world) and forget that they need so much because their factories are building commodities for the rest of the world.
The thing you are not considering is they wont be making bullshit for western consumers anymore (which by the way will be a rather serious problem for MANY of our industries and civilian population) All of that will free up vast resources that can be turned towards war. In fact it will probably HAVE to be turned towards war to prevent an economic collapse.
china also has absolutely massive ship building capacity.
Right now they dont have enough transport capacity (unless you count civilian) to invade taiwan. But that wont last forever.
No we wont be able to sanction china to victory, and in fact its a mind bogglingly stupid thing to even try as it would without a doubt cause just as much if not more problems for us. (we rely on China for most of our rare earth mineral needs, consumer goods of all kinds and industrial supplies) and they have backup sources for raw materials.

Good point and almost never. It looks like only the commie blocks are still standing after all the ordinance and those are only in the big cities. Clearing trenches and woodlines seems much more frequent.
More to the point when you do get into a fight like that its not against some guy in flip flops with an AK, its against another guy with the same training. Your more likely to get hit with a TOS munitions, a grenade or step on a land mine than end up actually getting to use those skills.

45:00 but what about Ketamin as the main drug in a situation where most injuries are blast injuries aka TBI involved injuries?
It's been a while since I quit my EMT-P career, but up to around 2010 Ketamin was considered contraindicated in cases of heavy TBI, due to its affects on intracranial pressure (increase). Has this changed? I personally liked Fentanyl and its qualities, even though, its therapeutic window is rather small. That means min and max limits for its dosis are not that far apart from each other (sorry for my English). In other words, it's very easy to overdose and have your patient require artificial respiration.
I've checked myself meanwhile. Apparently it indeed has changed to my surprise. In fact, Ketamin is even given intentionally in cases of heavy TBI nowadays (again, sorry for my English, it's not my first language and translating expertise isn't that easy). It seems it can even lower intracranial pressure. Given this is true, Ketamin is for sure a crazy good drug to use for trauma patients in a war situation. Your patients are fit and for the majority not geriatric. As long as blood pressure is under control and not extraordinarily high, it's far easier to handle then Fentanyl or Morphin. In other words, there isn't much that can go wrong with Ketamin, given the set of Patients you'll see.
Opiats still can have advantages in certain cases, as it not only is a fantastic analgesic, but it also calms patients and makes 'em "feel" a lot better, which shouldn't be underestimated. Panic does a lot of bad things like increasing blood pressure and other stress related issues.
Also, I am looking at it from a perspective of a civilian paramedic/nurse level of experience.
Lastly, I'd like to express my respect and appreciation to anyone in Ukraine and esp. the guest in this video. It's actually insane what Russia has put this world into and what people therefore have to endure. I hope it all takes a good end for Ukraine.
@@rantanplan178doesn't it give you terrible nightmares as a side effect? Reminds me of antidepressants, that, as a side effect, can cause depression 😂
Your english is just fine tho
@@fluctura It certainly can give you quite a trip^^. It's this k-hole thing that dude talks about in the video. Staying alive is far more important however and you can give 'em benzo's like dormicum or valium to reduce the effects if possible. The side effects of Fentanyl and other Opiat related drugs are life-threatening however and you don't want someone suddenly stop breathing in the middle of the night in some trench system in Ukraine. ;)
_Reminds me of antidepressants, that, as a side effect, can cause depression_
Yea, some SSRI's can do that esp. in the first 2 weeks of administration. They don't actually cause depression, but SSRI's increase motivation before the anti-depressant effects set in. Therefore, if given during a phase of serious depression, maybe with ideas of killing oneself, giving SSRI's may give this person the motivation to complete this last step. Hence, why it sometimes is better to put someone on SSRI's under clinical conditions.
@@rantanplan178 You seem to know what you're talking about :) Thanks for the effort. I actually learned something new. I've been given Fentanyl IV when I had my last unclear abdomen emergency which turned out to be a "simple" renal kolik.. but good lord.. first they tried with all kind of painkillers because they lacked stronger stuff while I almost passed out and was on the verge of a panic attack and hyperventilation (and I can stand pain...).. even with "Fenta max. dosis" (quoting the doc here), a bit of pain could still be felt under pressure. Since that day docs can treat me with all kind of crazy needles and I hardly feel it.. my pain system got a major upgrade from that procedure it seems lol

Great to see the liberation of the world from the barbarian, immoral Western mafia "world order."
The same people that profit from overthrowing democratic Ukraine in 2014 and this war will also profit from stealing your family's pension, savings, and "rights."
Exactly, pre February 2022 Ukraine had the largest Army in Europe (excluding Russia).
If you listen to Willy you'd think they were just a small country of farmers wearing sandals like he found when he went to Afghanistan to wipe out weddings
@@user-dd7pq2to3o I mean they are the most corrupt country in europe you would think the 2nd army in the world would smash them in weeks
5 to 1 what advantage over the tooth fairy...back to the bottle Ivan
This seems to be a fascinating psychological profile of folks who go to these war zones. Brave but seem exploitative circumstances
I wanted to see how full of shit our government was…… the answer is completely. The government and the media are COMPLETELY full of shit, just like this guy.
Yep, literally every interview i have seen (including other channels) support the notion that these dudes going into active war zones to fight all over the world, not just ukraine, try to find a meaning in their life by supporting their respective cause and they are also broken on some level, they need this.
Everyone that fights to the death for anything has to have some sort of cause, I would imagine. I don't see anything out of the ordinary with people feeling a need to fight injustice (perceived or otherwise).
@@LooniJoose it depends, in my experience there are 3 groups represented in most conflicts: those who are in for the cause(usually the young guys), those who are in for the fame&ego and those who are in for the money and dont care who they are fighting. In my experience idealists suffer the most, they will see & do a lot of things that directly collide with their moral compass & the self image of being heroes, than they get taken advantage of & chewed up by the system to be spit out without any thanks when its over, no money, no recognition beyond their service and end up in a civilian life if they are lucky, living to regret their decisions and see all they fought for watching it losing meaning or live to see that they were pawns on the wrong side of history.
@@DerDrecksack87 I didn't fight I know many that did on both sides (I also speak both languages). Ukraine's defense would've collapsed in Aug 2022, the Ukraine locals I spoke to told me that the English-speaking; Aus/USA/UK are possessed by demons and the EU Nato troops legitimately come in preaching 4th Reich ideology while the Nationalist Bandits sell out their own people to enrich themselves.

Taking a life is not meant to be a game.
When people are young they are easy to polarize into dehumanising the opponent they are given by the higher ups, there is a reason why every military preys on the youth, however when you get older & have seen and lived trough enough, a dead opponent in front of you is like a mirror, you cant help but think that this is who you could have been if a few choices in life & on the battlefield would have been different. War is just tragedy for everybody having to fight it and a feast for maggots & those who profit from it.
I doubt anyone out there would truthfully like the experience to a game. Are you saying this because you don't like that people are fighting for others (and I know you may not be)? It seems like a lot of people are taking issue with that for some reason. I don't understand what the problem is.
"This isn't a game!"
Meanwhile on the battlefield...

I’m not sure you can say that without being there . That’s a statement
Normal people don't voluntarily go to risk their lives in a war which has nothing to do with them and then talk about it on the internet afterwards. It could be the more serious and informed guys fighting in Ukraine aren't so keen to talk about it. Also which ever side they're on, they're getting a lot of propaganda from that side and few people would do the digging and thinking to see through the propaganda. It's pretty amusing that all the same accusations and stereotypes the Ukrainians say about the Russians, the Russians say about Ukrainians.

The smell of death is absolutely something our senses reject on instinct!
I can understand how a regular joe could think this will be over in 3-7-14 days but all of these are NATO trained and educated men, how could you possibly believe country of the size of Ukraine, biggest landmass in Europe with 2nd biggest military in Europe could fall that fast is beyond me. For reference, Serbia, small and militarily irrelevant country fought on Kosovo against full air invasioj by NATO forces for 3 months before capitulating, and they are the size of Kiev. Considering the numbers Russia came into Ukraine, which was at least twice smaller than Ukrainian army, its just crazy to think that would have happened and it almost did, Ukraine negotiated and wanted it to stoo a month in, and by the way things are going, probably should have, but I dont have a horse in this fight so not up to me to tell anyone what to do.
The most funny thing is that among the Russians, there are Ukrainians from dombas and other eastern regions who wanted to be. Independent from Ukraine. Basically a foreign volunteer going to war to fight and help Ukrainians, likely chance he killed the people he was intending to protect.
Its Donbass, not dombas. Don means Donetsk, bass means bassein kinda pool.
Thing is … per Ukrainian law there should’ve been a national vote to secede. The majority of Ukraine probably wasn’t going to vote yes due to losing the resource heavy land … a lot of these people could’ve just moved to Russia and lived their dream.

@@strawdemindset You're basically saying these people could have left their homeland and moved somewhere else. Why should they? They've been there for two hundred years. One thing must be clarified. The war did not last 3 days, but it would have lasted 3 months without Western aid, which is unprecedented in the history of warfare.
