That doesn't mean every officer in the force was corrupt or sectarian, but enough of them were to warrant massive reform. Those massive reforms are fact, not opinion. Just today and the release of 20 year official papers showed a top Belfast judge (a Protestant) commenting on how sectarian the RUC had become by the 1980s. Denial of truth will never change the truth. .
