If your job is to grade comics, and people are paying you for that service, why does it matter what the content is? Political, explicit, etc., shouldn't matter.

Good point. I think jumping to this conclusing that CGC is "anti-trump" is ridiculous at this point until more evideence is revealed. I'm wondering if one employee decided to make a statement without getting approval from his/her higher ups.

I have a book with a wrong label. I sent it back to get fixed and the returned it with the same wrong label. Then emailed them, they did an "investigation" and determined there is nothing wrong... totally done with cgc
I don’t agree with CGC’s lack of ethics. That being said, they are a private company and chose to not grade the book. The best thing we can do, is not support these antics. They need us more than we need them.

Weird. CGC has become the company of poor decisions. Between substituting books, damaged banana books, favoritism towards certain customers, and now alienating half of their customers. Very strange no matter who was on that cover. Ought to be the customer’s choice

CGC can do what they want. If they reject a book based on political offensiveness, so be it. We as customers then should stop patronizing that business. Quit giving your money to a company that hates you. If every Trump supporting American comic collector banded together to boycott their business, they will lose money. And if that financial loss is significant enough, they will be forced to correct or at least drop down in market share to a point where they will lose the #1 title. Use the other graders.

That's not a comic. It's a collector item sold in the form of a comic. CGC is a private company that grades comics from recognized comic book companies.
According to their website, they grade and encapsulate many pop collector items, not just comics. Including concert posters, original art, magazines and prints.

If it can be imagined they should grade it! The only exception would be illegal explicit images whatever they might be!
