A common thing I like to do to test centering sensitivity is to use the firing range and practice swapping between the targets. Make sure your sense is good before you train in a bot lobby
This is great. I've been thinking about this a lot. I nearly always warm up it's so important, i do it more than ever now . I will definitely add the bits you said that i don't do. Thanks✌️
I do 45 minutes of bots. Doing centering, predictions, aiming so on. Then I play 5 nuketowns to get used to real players and a real game feel, and then i play ranked. I can see the improvement.
@user-ps3su8li4e I'm actually diamond 3, i get to play maybe for 3 hours every few days. So yeah, not stuck, def better than you, and I used to actually compete against optic, complexity, and cloud 9 back in IW. Anything else you wanna add since you know my entire story? Nice try gold player.
@GhostOfAnas College graduate. 2 associate degrees. Pursuing bachelor's degree in computer science and i alos have a job and I am married. Tell me you don't know time management? You sound like an idiot. Also, when did I say "everyday". Someone has a middle school reading level.
@GhostOfAnas where did I say I do this every day? Also, i own 2 associate computer science degrees, and im working for a bachelor's, while having a job. Tell me you can't read and don't understand how to manage time?
I always warm up against bots since you mentioned it in a MW2 ranked tips video and ive seen massive improvements in my accuracy , i was losing so much SR in the first few games of a session
After my warm up, sometimes i start an extra round with headshot damage only and use my pistol only . Dont play again too much bots. 4 is enough on small maps . Activate steal health after the kill, it makes you regenerate your health faster
One of my weakness points is using the mini map. I try and allocate some time to only shooting bots that I notice on the radar. I’m defo guilty of now being focused enough on accuracy and how many bullets I’m using. So will for sure be including that going forward
Thanks for all the content you've been uploading Harrz. I recently hit crimson solo queueing and your videos really helped me improve. I was decent at hardpoint already but i now understand how to play control a lot better as well. I was also wondering what settings i should be warming up with so this video is great.
Ok so im not tripping then my routine has changed a bit but i’ll get back to it everynow and again. I’ll do three private matches against bots, core, hardcore and headshots only, hop into nuketown and then play ranked. Definitely worked and made it easier for getting some headshot camos quicker but now since im ready to dark matter and i reached my goal for ranked goal i just do one or two matches private matches core mode and then ill play online
sometimes i would play stakeout 24/7 (mostly to do camo's) to warmup but i noticed where the map is so small, I'm hardly looking at the mini map and would go into ranked with the habit of not looking at my mini map. Playing in a private match with bots and radar on gets you in the habit of looking at your mini map a lot, which you obviously have to do in ranked.
I'd never warmed up in a game till recently, I'm on M/K and only just discovered after 15 years of gaming that I suck at aiming.. Now I do 10mins of Aimlabs followed by a ~10min warm up bot match and it is making a massive difference to my score 😁 if I skip this before I play then I go back to my old tricks and suck arse😂 this video is great advice 10/10!!
I also see a lot of people, who prefer to reload instead of changing to pistol. In close range fights you can take advantage and sometimes you get a double or maybe triple kill. From bronze to gold lobbies, i see this like 95% and i won a lot of fights, cause i switched to pistol 🤷🏻♂️
Cod needs to fix the servers I got booted for no reason saying I had internet connection and I just 80 sr it setting me back a lot it happend to countless times and I can hit plat 2
Plz do a video on how to stop dying from the back and side, I mean I go 5x in a row where I die from the back or something, it’s the most annoying thing in the game, maps are so small that when you get 1 kill, their teammate just has to jump and he will end up behind you
@ that’s impossible esp solo q, the mini map doesn’t tell you anything if they are farther than 15 feet, the enemy’s guns all sound like silenced weapons, and the spawns are so dumb and maps are so dumb and small. I’m a crim 3 and still struggle by dying 5x in a row in the back.
Love the content man, highest quality ranked advice on TH-cam. Helped me climb to crim. Would you consider making a video on how you deal with movement abusing smg players? I feel like my aim is good in straight up gun fights but I often get my camera / aim assist broken by slide to prone / slide to jump spammers.
Great video. Thanks... when you say a good accuracy is to have 60%, do you think that is the only metric we should be focused on when warming up? I actually find it quite difficult to do 60% with bots unless I take my sweet time to kill a bot. But that is not realistic, because in a real ranked play I will get fried quickly. And it would also reduce my K/D with bots since other bots may be shooting at me.
If you can get 60% in bots when you're moving and playing normal speed you're likely to have good accuracy against people in ranked! If you're having to spend time to get that 60% it shows there's room for improvement so try and focus on these things again step by step!
Back when my discord loved the game we would play taps. Headshots only with smgs. You would have to slide cancel/ etc or do some sort of movement before shooting another shot. Just a bunch of crack heads on high sens but it definitely worked on snapping/ centering etc
U got a sub from me...your not an as..you have good knowledge of the game and it seems like u genuinely want to help other players..not just trying to get views and your videos are a major help the community..i had to watch a couple videos before i subbed..😅😅..but thanks..keep them videos coming..
@ ohhh never heard of them! I’ll check them out. My dualsense edge is starting to drift a little but the replacement modules are proving rather tricky to find.
@Harrz do you have a good warmup for learning and predicting spawn logic in game for ranked play ? I personally struggle knowing where enemies might be coming from and was wondering if there was a good way to do it in the practice lobby. I review my own film but I sometimes still struggle that way to see and know for sure where enemies are spawning
So I normally have my spawn guides up on my phone as I'm playing for the first handful times playing the map/mode! But honestly after that it's engrained!
Make sure your first bullet is hitting and trying and kill in 4-5 shot bursts! Sometimes you'll kill the enemy in those four to five shots but you'll eventually get used to knowing when to stop shooting etc
I play like 1-2 games and straight into ranked, sometimes just into ranked..no offense but the aiming in the games is pretty isnt compared to apex. Guns have no recoil on cod i swear.

Just started the ranked grind, this warmup has been super helpful, thank you!!
Joined the members club too
You're a goat, thanks mate!!

Imagine spending 45 mins everyday killing bots 💀 Bro needs a job!

a guy costed our round 11 the other day after reloading with 21 rounds left instead of getting the trade in a 2v1..
Yeah reloading early is a bad habit!
@@drew4317I remember someone with the 100 round holger that was briefly in mw3 ranked, reloading on 80 bullets and dying

It's all spawn knowledge and knowing where your teammates are, don't forget to use the tac map rather than just the mini map!

Mainly AR

Which controller do you use? Great video as always
I use a Controller Modz PS5 controller with two buttons and mouse click triggers! It's like the UK version of scuff 👍

@ 4:42 how do you slide and aim so smooth? I try it and my slide too far away
If you press jump whilst you're sliding and aiming you'll stop the slide at that point!

Do all that warming up just to have your first 2 games be SND
Hahaha true, is a vibe killer
Do you play on dynamic or linear also what slope scale? Deadzones aswell?
Dynamic, instant, and 0.03 deadzone!
Which attachment do you have here?

Is team deathmatch not better than free for all. Having 11 lads all sdter you makes for trickier situations and more less common situations
Where do you place thumbs on the sticks bro?
1. Take thumb. 2. Place thumb on stick. And there you have it
@ 😂😂
middle part of my thumb at the top of my sticks and the pad of my thumb rest over the center
@ is that how most people play
@@jaymcgrath2910 Its all personal preference fr but thats how I play. It helps me control my aim better cause im a lil heavy handed.
