    Mark, I've been following your channel for about 3 weeks now and have been doing the EPIC exercise. WOW!! what a difference in my recordings from the beginning. My passaggio is so so much smoother. my larynx and jaw are relaxed and my tone is smoothing out and getting much more pleasing and easy. I can't thank you enough for the fun and growth I am having with you. Oh yeah, I still am always moved after this exercise. it feels more like a meditation than a voice exercise. I love it!!

    I used to sing from the age of 2 until about 3 years ago... I stopped because of paralyzing anxiety in my life, feelings of unworthiness, and other personal reasons I rather not go into.... but I decided to bring my voice back and found your videos on TH-cam. This video in particular brought me to tears because your soul and your love for teaching resonates so deeply. I have never had anyone give to me so freely and so willingly in teaching anything. It is such a blessing you are doing this. You are a gift to the world. A true blessing. I am so so grateful for you and all you do. You are a light in the world And I cannot wait to train my voice so I can sing to my fullest authentic power and grace and then if anyone asks how I did it, i will point to you. God bless you and thank you from the bottom of my heart! I had a blast practicing with you!! Can't wait to do it again🤗

    I continue to use your videos and many times/week do EPIC. Today I did it on a really fast walk after warming up w/ a couple of your other videos. WOW, is my voice getting stronger and smoother. Singing through the passaggio, I no longer break. I've gotten so smooth. Thank you so much. I can hear, feel and see how much I've grown when I sing and when I listen to my recordings. I am extremely grateful, Mark.

    Killer workout!! One of the best I’ve had. I’ve been a professional singer for almost two decades and the thinking of resonance in the back as you go higher fixed a huge discomfort I had been “working around” for years. The ease is upper range is insane with these exercises. Thank you x a million

    Mark, I have been watching all your videos for the past 2 months now and absolute love them, and you!!! Especially this one. If you notice this video getting an immense amount of watch time in the past 2 months it's probably me. I have been meaning to write this review/comment for the past 2 months.
    See, I needed a good warm-up video and I found an Epic one here and let me tell you why. Being a baritenor I always go 3 to 5 half steps higher as you stop each phase in this video. I also, sometime I do different things i.e., pause, repeat or repeat the phase and just go form head/chest voice and many other techniques and sounds. Basically, I make this video warm-up anywhere form 45-60 minutes long depending on how I feel or time wise. But what gets to me the most is, you stick through it with (me) us, and I THANK YOU for that. There are days when I feel down and not the best, but still push through knowing I gotta still do it. And the fact that YOU go through the whole video, never leaving till the very end, and having fun, yes acting like a big kid, inspires me to keep going. I don't need to look at the Video, but I still always finding myself doing so from time to time and it never gets old. I honestly think besides a EPIC warm-up, that is the secret behind it. I know it was special from the first time I played it.
    I was wondering I you could make another video just like this one, but EPICALLY ENHANCED. Somehow a little longer and high range, even if you dont sing that last few bars but the scales keep going up. and just do some experimenting like from high notes dropping to low and going right back up. But not losing the start to finish, i.e., humming, lip, and slowly graduate to the EPIC ENDNOTE. Because I really use this a a complete cold warm-up.
    Thank you once again my friend, God Bless you as well.

    • @voicelessondotcom
      @voicelessondotcom  13 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Welcome to my channel! Your process is the BEST way to develop your voice via exercises. To anyone reading this - hit pause and extend - sing higher, lower, louder, softer than me. Variety is the best stimulator for coordination. The request for an epic epic video is now in queue!

    • @gmfroma-2-z906
      @gmfroma-2-z906 13 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@voicelessondotcom Nice, Nice! Maybe in that video, you can explain that briefly because people may not know. I know you can make an EPIC new one, but don't rush it. I assume you can go 2 step lower and higher, but mostly lower because I see how clear you low notes come out, that is where I lack but I do vocal frys and I'm getting there. I have learned to mix all sounds to combined when needed. Bottom line, I think it's time for an ADVANCE EPIC Warm-up. Once again, really, thank you soooo much. hope to meet up one day.

    I do the morning warmup you released 8 years ago every single day. And for the past few weeks my voice has literally undertook a metamorphosis because of it. For some reason it is developing my voice and my pitch so well and it is just a warmup which is pretty weird but am really grateful for it.
    I was wondering if you could please do videos on falsetto......
    Just one video touching on falsetto and how to develop it that I can do every day to build my vocal strength for it. In the morning my falsetto is very free and easy to access but later as the day goes it becomes increasingly more difficult to access it to a point where it feel totally uncomfortable. That would be really amazing if you could cover that for us.
    Thanks for all the amazing help you give to us aspiring singers it is greatly appreciated.

    • @voicelessondotcom
      @voicelessondotcom  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I'll put the idea for a falsetto video in my queue - but in your case it seems the way you speak may be the problem. Keeping your speech light and free throughout the day would allow you to maintain the same access to your falsetto that you have in the morning.

    • @ruantristancarlinsky3851
      @ruantristancarlinsky3851 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@voicelessondotcom That's a really interesting point. I think I can try it out and we'll see. I must say I have noticed that when I speak normally I have a lot of tongue tension in my neck area under my jaw and I have been working on loosening that area and it is helpful.
      However, just falsetto exercises to work on it daily would be even better because I know that different registers need to be worked out every day for it to become stronger and I currently do not know how to approach exercising falsetto because I tried a lot of youtube videos and I am not making progress. So Thanks for reading my message and I hope that you can find the time answer my request.
      In the meantime I will do what said about talking freely and more lightly and we'll see where it goes😄.

    I want to thank you dearly for the many excellent exercises you have created on You Tube! I am still struggling of coming just close to a singing voice, but I know these exercises are really helping. Not only are they helping people with voice training, but since music is such a powerful instrument people will advance in so many other areas because of the synergy effect it gives off. Simply; it gives happiness!

    Wow, thanks Mark, my friend! This is Mick, with the son Brandon you know well, lol. I've taken some recording courses recently, and started to record and get back into it again, since it's just my dog and myself at home now. First off, because of my past lessons with you, I've noticed my voice, nor range has not suffered what others our age has, and is still as resonant and clear a sound as you help me achieve. I just saw this warmup, as I was doing one of your other warmups I like and have used in the past, and wow!!! My performing days may be over because of my back issues, but I can see now that with this and some of your other exercises, it will allow to record my vocals as I wish to present them, and not have to write around them. Much love to you and the family brother; thank you and stay healthy!!! Oh btw, I have drums and keys now, so where do I find your lessons for them? lol...

    This is even better today than yesterday. More to hear and understand. Did it 2 times yesterday. Then went to jam. Was suggested at jam did not need mike for 8 person jam. Will NEVER do again with out mike as voice gave on on 3rd song and started to cough. No way for me to sing above all those instruments without a mike. I look forward to this warm-up and especially love having drums as I am warming up. Really loosens me up. Thanks Mark. You have out done yourself with this one.

Feeling joyful. Your musical productions and your personality are just so incredibly pure. You are so fun and I’m def gonna have to get a lesson or two from you, just to make singing even more fun, but LIVE with you!!hah Im excited! I just had to tell you that! Thank you so much for helping me be happy again….this is exactly what I would like to do for others. Help them feel joyful so I think it’s cool how I found a teacher who helps me feel the most joyful …along with a few other scatters or too haha but seriously I’m so glad I found your page.
