I know it's not the popular opinion, but WOD was my best expansion experience in all of WoW especially the Raiding and I've played since Vanilla back in 2004
I've played nearly every content patch extensively and will never understand why WoD gets the hate it does. PVP (both RBGs and Arena) were at an absolute peak -- balance was in the best state I've ever seen it, and that was the daily end game once you finished raiding and what not for the week. I'd sit with my arena or rbg team hanging out in whoever had the most pimped out garrison waiting for our queues to pop. And holy fuck, the raids, SO GOOD. I would love to have classic WoD just to experience Highmaul + BRF again, that shit was so fun. The Highmaul fight having the secret Cho'gal fight on heroic vs. normal is and will always be one of my favorite moments in WoW. The content draughts and cut content were trash, but if they did an accelerated WoD timeline with a lively PVP scene, I bet people would have different opinions on WoD. I will die on this hill -- WE WILL NEVER BE SLAVES!!!
It got hate because it was abandoned 6 months into the expansion and there was no content in the expansion, and then they come out with 6.1 which was just a total meme. WoD was bad because it had almost no content, but most of the content it had was good.
A big part to the hate was also the fact of how much content was cut or changed in comparison to what was promised. They initially announced how the garrison could be placed at multiple locations. Shattrath Raid was cut. Any content with Black Temple was cut. A complete Zone was missing. (Netherstorm) The introduction into the story was put into a novel. So for people who played the games, they defeated Garrosh in Orgrimmar raid and got him imprisoned -> Garrosh attacks with an army of orcs from the Dark Portal. No real explanation in the game about what happened.
spunky xetron Raids were good and the in-game cutscenes were a nice continued addition...I loved the story, the characters....the problem was that Questing and Reputation were pretty awful...like moments sprinkled in Questing I really enjoyed.....but every previous Expansion...the entire adventure and destination hit it off spectacularly....Warlords of Draenor....needed more time
and even wod as was wouldve been betetr recieved if brf came out a month or 2 later and lasted a month or 2 later, then woukdnt have bene with hfc for over a year.

Worst expansion? Do you mean BfA or SL? WoD is one of the best.
@@saulmedeiros8836 SL the worst? ok
@@michelwelling4692 Certainly worse than WoD which was just bad for the extreme lack of content and shit like Tanaan Jungle aswell as the garrison
@@saulmedeiros8836 BFA at least had content, SL is not bad, maybe at the same level of Cataclysm if not a bit better... For now.
It's sad because it clearly could have been one of the best expansions if there wasn't so much cut content.
Okay, this is really good and I don't even play wow. Excellent theme. 10/10
i love 4:00 so much
''This was not our destiny..."
"Times change."
WoD just looks like Garrosh himself. Everyone hate him too, until he passed away
what are babbling on about?
This is so ominous... magnificent

Nah, Garrosh.
Because of his knowledge.
I know it's not the popular opinion, but WOD was my best expansion experience in all of WoW especially the Raiding and I've played since Vanilla back in 2004
Raiding was top notch in WoD, if only the expansion wasn't abandoned after the first 6 months.
@@slinttu1378 wod had the potential to be the best wow expac ever. too bad they fell short
I listen to this whenever I need a rage buff for the gym
no matter how bad the expansion, the music remains top of the line
We will never play Swtor! But we will play WOW forever
(Netherstorm)
The introduction into the story was put into a novel. So for people who played the games, they defeated Garrosh in Orgrimmar raid and got him imprisoned -> Garrosh attacks with an army of orcs from the Dark Portal. No real explanation in the game about what happened.
2:58 Dat goosebumps m8
It reminds me to old w3 grom vs mannoroth battle, i think this song will fit a lot in that cinematic
This expansion had so much potential but was designed very poorly
spunky xetron Raids were good and the in-game cutscenes were a nice continued addition...I loved the story, the characters....the problem was that Questing and Reputation were pretty awful...like moments sprinkled in Questing I really enjoyed.....but every previous Expansion...the entire adventure and destination hit it off spectacularly....Warlords of Draenor....needed more time
and even wod as was wouldve been betetr recieved if brf came out a month or 2 later and lasted a month or 2 later, then woukdnt have bene with hfc for over a year.
Just like BfA. But Shadowlands looks promising
Joshua Ho BFA was not that terrible, and I did 0 raid and dungeon at WoD, as a pvp player, i liked this expansion
@@davidho1427 this comment didn't age well
"..Yes, times change indeed, this time we will bring the fight to you and when you finally claimed your destiny, just bring it so we the alliance can take it and turn the sombitch around and stick it straight up your orc asses"

P/s: For the Alliance
Last I checked, you were angry with the Alliance for building their towers next to your farm and attracting orcs who burned it down.
Also, you were a lvl1 beggar who would have propblems facing a fresh-faced Valley of Trials recruit.
Marcin Barczyński I will gladly pay you on Tuesday for a hamburger today.
No can do, Wimpy.
Schubert but Horde is kewl
Shine yer armor for a copper?
Regardless of how bad the expansion may or may not have been, you gotta say the concept is such a cool one
You know the OST is good when it gives you goosebumps, shame the game is no longer appealing to me.
Just hearing this epic music makes me sad. WoD had potential to rival or even surpass vanilla and TBC
Shadowlands is filling that role.
@@AICabal Good joke.
