We've been to Cayo Largo a good fifteen times over the last 25 years. We experienced the charm of the Capricho before it was blown away, but also the Linda Mar, and a few other hotels too. What's important to understand is that there's little or nothing to do on the island, and that's precisely why we're going back. Smaller hotel, different from the mega-resorts elsewhere. We went to Cayo Guillermo, Cayo Paredon. With children, it's best to plan a place where there will be activities, but without children, I much prefer the Linda Mar in Cayo Largo. It's small and not too crowded. Not necessarily a lot of beach in front of the hotel, but Playa and Playa Paraiso remain as beautiful and tranquil as ever. Peace and quiet! We went back in November 2023 and are returning in November 2024, whereas we went with the kids to Cayo Paredon in June the last three years. For a couple's vacation... it's Cayo Largo.
Hello!!!! do you remember me? I'm Amanda and I work at the Memories hotel as a butler. I didn't know they had a TH-cam channel. Well I hope to see you again and you have a new follower.
The scenes are like in a movie. Simply insanely beautiful. The sunset view is one of a kind. Did you fly to the island from Havana, or from abroad? Do you remember which airline did you take?
thanks for sharing this video. I'm planning to go in the next couple of weeks and am wondering if Paraiso is walkable nowadays from the resort. Gonna be my 20th visit there and I like walking west, but I know that the beach conditions vary a lot. How was it while you were there?
Have fun! One day we walked from the resort half way, the other day we walked from Playa Sirena half way back. We missed our chance to do it in one shot, due to high winds and waves.
Cuba and its people are beautiful bit atm traveling there is hit or miss on food .. the govt has or is killing its people slowly.. people really should stop travelling there till they get their chit together
@@TheOutdoorSeeker we were there in 2023 and everyone was blaming shortages on "covid" but I believe it has to do with govt... there is no need for a country that size not to manufacture or produce its own food
I am disappointed in your false video for people. # 1 you do not reveal the resort you are staying at to start. # 2 your opening scene on the beach with the boulder is not where you stayed which finally you revealed ! If you are posting you MUST be detailed oriented to EVERYTHING ! If you travel blog then get the details right, or stop the nonsense. Yes, I have been to Largo 3 times.

looks like an amazing place. The water looks so clear.
It's a perfect spot to relax and swim.
Beautiful island! Thanks for sharing!
It really is!
Beautiful work…thanks😊
@@debracook8859 I really appreciate your input.
Increíblemente hermoso, un lugar de obligada visita, espero poder visitarlo pronto
@@Zetanews-0 you should go there. It's worth it.

@leclercsyl you are so right. Nothing to do but enjoy the place.
Looks like I'll have to stay tuned to see if you ever go back.
Economic crisis and uncertainty, I hope they improve their living conditions.
The question is for Lily and Normand, do you know if they have re done the beaches in font of hotel? I really miss going there

Curious, what resort you stayed at? And what beach are you at in the beginning of the video?
We stayed at Memories. The start of the video is at Villa Coral. We walked from our resort on the beach up to Villa Natura.
12 tomes in Cayo largo ! I go next Year for a mounth
You won't be disappointed!

Очень красивый остров, НО... уж очень много нудистов, особенно возрастных.
No idea what you are saying
@@TheOutdoorSeeker Very beautiful island, but there are too many nudists
That's true, they are part of nature too.

A lot of the money we pay to go there goes to the airline and the hotel. We bring a lot of gift for the workers, it's the only way to help them.
@@TheOutdoorSeeker yeah us too but the people are tired of the socialist regime...
I know. I would be too.

Good for you. This is not necessarily about the resort but about the island.
