I really like the Lunars as well. There are a lot more that I don't have, than what I do have, but I try to get the ones that interest me the most. I have all the 2018 dogs from 1/2 oz. all the way to the kilo. The options and variety are indeed qualities that make these sets highly desirable.
I have the complete set of Series II half oz colourized coin, now continue the collection with this Series III in colourized and original privy 1 oz coin. God Save The Queen.
I love the Australian Lunar Series from The Perth Mint. Since I was a bit too late for Series 1, and missed most of series 2 (I did purchase a couple key years), I definitely plan on buying at least a few of each one. Several more from the key years, with a few 2 oz versions. As far as the “Privy” coins...well, those are just not for me. Just another way for the Mint (and Dealers) to raise the premiums.
I have the mouse in the 2 oz, and a colorized 1 ounce. Neither has that mark. I didn't know it was part of a series. Thanks for that info. I'll probably casually pursue the others.
I have the one oz, the coloured one oz, and the 1 kg year of the mouse, love the lunar series and very often you get the privy stamp on them Love the fact with each one they come in all silver, silver and guilded and coloured, I adore the coloured rooster, ox, tiger and snake.
Great video. The mouse, the first one of the new lunar 3 serie is allready quite expensive. I sold it at ebay for near 50 dollar. Privys are not allways getting better prices, esp if they make them to print more then allowed.
Good video, i wonder if you heard anything about those privi mark in coins has been stroke more and apparently the numbers are don’t add up, it would be interesting to find out about the truth about privy marks on them...
Thanks for sharing! I'll be honest, I thought the Lunar Series was cool in the past but now, I honestly am not that interested in them anymore. That's not to say I don't think it will do well. Perhaps I just like shorter series maybe and I just got tired of this one.
Very cool that you collect these, but these ones are not for me... It's strange they look nice, but I have zero interest in them... I do like watching others collect them though!
Good question 1. Instagram (great community) 2. Online dealers (APMEX, JM Bullion, LPM) 3. Local coin shop although his selection has been limited since the pandemic
Great video Eddie. Subscribed to your channel. Would love a follow back. Was that a 1 oz or 2 oz coins in the videos ? Also, I love the case for the series. Do they make those for different oz coins?

Completely agree, they have lower mintages but less people will want them.,.the mints aren’t dumb, well most of the time😆
Thanks for watching!
Interesting! I did not know about the privy mark. I'll have to look at my coins.

Technically the series 1 wasn’t for 12 years but for 9 years the last 3 coins of the series 1 was minted in 2007.
But now I got to get last year's mouse or rat.. ms70 so I got it for the future set completion.
I love Perth Lunar coins. High quality. The Queens mother lived to 101. No kidding. Cheers!
That makes me nervous 🤣
I need the 1 ounce mouse ms70. Since I got this years. Happy colleting
