    The 2020 Libertads really took off. I'd say they are the most collectable pieces of bullion right now. Super sought after coins, at any weight and finish. Awesome pick-ups, Eddie😃👍❤️🦄

    Bruh! I was so lucky to get the 5oz reverse proof that APMEX had on sale a few days ago! 20 of them were sold out in 5mins! I’ve always wanted one but I got a steal for what they’re going for on eBay. I’m only missing the proof 5 Oz and my 5 Oz collection will be complete! I agree with you! They’re beautiful!

    Hi Eddie. What a beauty in the 2oz size. I collect the 1 oz Libertads. I do have a few 2 oz Proofs and BUs, but no Reverse Proofs. I like the Reverse Proof finish. I think it is stunning. I'm going to keep my eye out for a 2 oz example. My Silver Eagle and Libertad collections are my pride and joy. I love my classic US proof type and mint state coins, but the ASE & Libs are my fav modern coins. I am looking forward to adding the Two-Coin Reverse Proof Set ASEs and the 1 oz Proof & Reverse Proof Libs to my collection this year. I have been collecting ASEs and the one oz Libertads in all the finishes since the mid-nineties. They are surely getting hard to pick up these days. So far, I have kept my Libertad collection complete and am only missing the 95W ASE to have that series complete. Wish me luck this year. *TYU*

    I got that same Apmex notification but I was driving at the time. Ended up missing the 2 ounce RP but purchased the 5 ounce RP. So, now I have have every 2020 proof except the 2020 two ounce reverse! Beautiful coins and I agree- in super HIGH demand for collectors. There could only ever be 1,000 complete sets world wide...well 999 because you got two coins-lol!

    @silvereagleeddie just as a point of reference, the 7oz sets had 250 made by Banco de Mexico. APMEX had a "confirmed allocation" of 120 of these. They only received 22 of them and 3 were badly damaged out. So they were only able to sell 19 of the sets. I've heard other similar stories from A-MARK and other distributors like the Stovall's. I think that the RP's will eventually be restated at less than 1000 for sure. They just aren't out there in the numbers they "should be" at this point. Maybe the 1oz had 1000, but the 2 and 5 I don't think so.....

    I picked up 1 and I got in at a really sweet deal which is unusual for Apmex. I also picked up the new Mandalorian coin from NZMint, has not sold out yet, 5k mintage but should be a winner.

      I AGREE. I was shocked and actually thought it was a mistake at first. I got mine from APMEX for literally 15% of what I paid 3 months ago from a direct Mexican Dealer. Got 7 of each now, 3 2oz/5oz RAW, 3 2oz/5oz in the special set, and 1 each 2oz/5oz NGC RP70. Feel like a boss for once in my stacking history!

    • @ThirdCoastGems
      @ThirdCoastGems 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AA-qc7un I paid 107.35 a piece raw, then 138.75 for NGC-70, and 374.99 per 7oz 2 coins set. I think was one of the first to get them all, as the price went up 4-6 times over a 20 min period. I paid like 500 for the 2oz and 700 for the 5oz from a reputable Mexican dealer back in May for my first 2 though. I honestly feel the current prices on EBAY are a STEAL. Even at multiple times what they were on APMEX. I felt like I was stealing them at those prices the other day and my orders would be canceled or reevaluated. LOL, like some employees are about to be fired over this! I've also heard 3 times from 3 different sources that the mintage numbers are lower than the stated and they will be corrected at the end of the year. 🤷🏼‍♂️

      @@AA-qc7un I hear ya man, but at least APMEX was "fair" this time around with collectors. The US Mint always checks the secondary market and way over prices their stuff.

    What will vendors offer us if we sell BU, Proof and Reverse Proof Libertads back to them? I have all of these coins in 5 oz denominations and paid huge premiums. I wonder if I will ever break even on them.
