LG PuriCare Mask Unbiased Review (Gen 2 Model)

- So after seeing a lot of people raving (and some people ranting) about the new LG PuriCare Mask Gen 2, I decided to pull the trigger and buy it from Lazada during the recent 11.11 sale. After using it for a little over a week, here's my unbiased, unsponsored review.

Bought the black one since 1 month ago and I am using it daily. I have same comments... some moisture build-up once in a while, very comfortable and light, very breathable, need to purchase filters in advanced (since they sold out fast on restock), uses HEPA 13 which is better than N95. I have no regrets buying it. In fact I even convinced my friends to buy them. I also have recently the Razer Zephyr and its my second go-to mask if I don't feel like using the LG. Would love to hear some review from your channel for the Zephyr (for other viewers) if you managed to grab one since it's a bit hard to grab one.
How often do you have to change the Hepa filters?
Were you able to pair it to your smartphone/LG app?
@lyanneashi I have the mask and last time I checked for Android was a few weeks ago. They disabled the app I think because the app was bricking the mask.
The app is now available to download.. its cool you can check the filters life, battery status, and now you can control the fan speed and the volume of the voice on feature.

Hey Dean. Thats great news about the app. When I bought my Puricare 2nd Gen in 2021, the App had no function and the firmware update stopped the mask from working completely. I got a full refund. Do you think I should should try again? Do you know if the App only works in certain countries? I can not find anyone at LG anywhere in the world who can tell me anything about the app. I am in Australia. Cheers in advance.
Does it accumulate moisture like the copper mask? That was the worst.
I planned on getting this to eliminate the moisture accumulating on my face wearing masks.
Where do you buy filters? How long does it last?

I'm looking at this mask but I already have the easyflow and a 3m mask. It's a lot bulkier but it's half the price and it does an ok job. I just look super weird.
Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the he13 filters? I can't find suppliers in UK, and importing from Japan is too costly for me atm. Trying to see if I can find an alternative filter that would fit
I’ve had the mask for about two weeks now no major complaints so fa. I hope the application comes out soon and I hope we can adjust the speed of the fan for me it’s just not enough
did they come out with an app yet? thinking about this one.

There are people that will import it. But good luck getting it at a cheap price.
Been using this for a month now. Overall it’s pretty decent but the voice on feature wasn’t much.
Using the app as well. So far so good! Big help for me who is having a hard time breathing when using masks for a lobe period of time. Usually just wear this when doing groceries and when at the airport and the plane. I suggest you stock up on the filters.

You forgot to mention about the Bluetooth feature at APP of the product na still under development pa "daw" hopefully gawin talaga nila ung app feature

Sir Carlo, with regards to the dual fan, may difference ba talaga when it comes to breathability? Kasi may mother inlaw is always having a hard time breathing using even the thinnest surgical mask. So Im thinking of suggesting this to her. Thanks.

My only concern is, is it heavy? Baka KC masakit sa tenga pag matagal gamitin, masayang lang 9k.
Sir im having breathing problem using regular mask and the problem required kmi sa work mag mask so thats 8-10 hours may big question is yung fan nya ba is to supply air pra breathable? Or kng meron ka ibang ma recommend that might meet my health needs

For those who can't afford, don't buy it. I have one because of it's features. Also stocked up on filters and inner covers enough for one year. Worth every penny.

As time goes on and the pandemic fades away there's less and less reason to get this mask. It's a bit hard to swallow for most folks unless one is really at high risk for Covid.
