It mostly ran away from the boat. Once we got it close, it was probably 4 times around before we gaffed it.

How does it compare to other reels on the market?
I haven't seen the final product yet so I will have to get back to you once the Lew's engineers have finished their work. I like a beefy, loud offshore spinning reel that can take a beating. I'm sure you will see a video here in the near future. Good question.

So the kingfish ( king mackerel ) is actually a tuna ? Blair , who is the moron you fished with and why didnt you call him out ?
Lance he says that because of the finlets on the spine of the king as do tuna. they aren’t the same fish but the obviously have a common ancestor
